From the perspective of an outsider, all they saw was that all of a sudden, her hand was raised. The black in the five-pointed star turned a blinding white, then she floated, in the center of the battlefield, on her head a glowing yellow that was the perfect mix of glowing luminescent yellow and blinding white.

Her hair and eyes were the same color, which depicted perfect harmony between the elements of each side. It seemed far-fetched, but everyone saw her as an angel. The object of their attention, amidst all this chaos, was smiling, rather bashfully, and everyone was focused on her at that moment. I guess it might have just been the bravest thing she did :)

Then Serena looked to all of them, with a gaze that made them just feel she thought she was above them, and loudly she announced.

"Silence"

Then the whole battlefield settled down, and she looked towards both sides and said, in a very authoritative voice, which they could only describe as gender neutral.

"Shut your F***ing traps, and stop this BS war"

All this shocked the whole audience, so much for an angel, they thought. But Lance looked like he had just gotten the best Christmas gift he could ask for. And looking at the crowd in her belittling manner, she asked,

"Do you have not an idea the impact of your actions, on the uninvolved elements of this war, all you might seek is superiority or vengeance and at the end of this war trade that for emptiness, and probably extinction, I do not think numbers can count the amount of humans already lost to the effect of this war on the earth, and what is a Vampire without human, powerless."

Then, standing her ground, Elaine said,

"That would be the best outcome for us, Dhampirs."

"And how would that make you different, from the very Vampires you claim to seek vengeance to, you cannot ignore the fact that I was just dead, I've seen it all, and my brain is not some sponge that has so many holes to fit that things I never thought were palpable are mow in my daily life still, but I've learned to be progressive and open minded and so should you"

Then she raised her hand, and all of a sudden large star materialized around them and fell, hitting the ground, and turned into glittery lights. Then Serena said.

"If you do not stop this war, you are going to be erased, become nothing, but the beautiful stars of the night sky, sworn to an eternity of watching, but not feeling, so I suggest you end this now."

Then, ignoring how she was looked at, she left, and the war was stopped, but in the wake of the war, humans and the supernatural felt like pawns, just a part of a well-thought-out plan that mainly went against them. Death reeked the halls, and he summer breeze lost its jolly feel.

Humans dismissed it as a natural disaster, and one of Serene Technologies' branches was scratched, turned to only and nothing but mush, and all the workers with it, but strangely Ravensville was safe, maybe there was some measure against that.

Serena did not contact anyone after that incident, she needed some time to process everything, she finally understood what a Starweaver was, they could rewrite, everything that was supposedly written in the stars, they were not bound by fate and could go their own way, the complicated stars in their hands were a symbol of this prestige and strength and a channeler to their unique active abilities.

But she could not use this great strength at will, like with her ability to manipulate minds, it also had great dangers, associated with misuse, but her sister, who could control the elements, seemed the most formidable, for her, she killed silently, looked angelic, but was deadly.

Now organizing her thoughts, she began to think of the more nuanced things, the kisses, she was kissed by two different people in just one day, and could tell one was an expert, which was good, but not entirely, and another was a total noob, which meant he kissed a few, maybe no other girl.

But the Lady in blue just seemed to give her this allure; she thought she was straight, but could not get the thought out of her head; it all seemed so different, unusual, some might say, but it felt great, and she could not wait to get another kiss like that again.

But after waiting for a while, she decided to go home, her own house, and then decided to donate everything Serene Technologies had amassed in liquid funds, leaving not a thing for her workers' salaries, all into helping those affected by the aftermath of the war. But it did not hinder their progress too much; they quickly recovered a good portion, and their fame became international.

That meant mass expansion, before they lost the international fame they had, and hence they needed a huge loan, one bigger than ever. She planned to buy one huge black and white mall in every country, amassing debt totaling hundreds of billions, but she did not worry about being unable to pay that.

And then she assigned the HR department to conduct interviews in all the locations and get them fully staffed, prioritizing areas with higher populations, but not neglecting those majorly affected by the 'natural disaster'.

Now, her work was so much simpler, but soon, even monitoring just the HR department would be extremely time-consuming now that Serene Technologies was the technological firm with the most international reach and the highest customer count.

The mass hiring had totaled 7,300,000 monthly in just salaries, but considering their income, they would be making a profit, yet far from enough to pay the debt they owed at the moment, which was even higher than her father's entire net worth could pay for.

But Serena just focused on work and did not let the pressure get to her. Now that she had so much work, she just delved into it, hoping to forget all of life's problems and relax, but there was the problem of concentration. The lady in blue, Diamond, could she possibly be watching her at that moment?

At the Vampire Settlement, all were unsettled, what they feared the most had happened, a Dhampir too strong to eradicate had been born, and now they could do nothing but watch on the sidelines, she was already stronger than the Great Lord rank, and the Vampires had no-one beyond that, proving she could single handedly take over them, for vampires, strength was everything, it was like money, for humans.

In a similar situation, where the dhampirs, especially Anne, who felt no sense of recognition towards her very own daughter, that massive change couldn't happen in just a few months, for the years she had gone through difficult times, she never snapped, nor did she even talk back. It seemed like she was incapable of hurting a bug.

But what she saw, her sweet little girl, practically an absolute overlord bossing Vampires, and even her had to listen, but what shocked her was that her daughter did not spare her a second glance, and she knew Serena knew she was there.

Seraphina, on the other hand, was so curious that, was easily going along with everything she said and was much more approachable. It seemed like she got them confused. Since childhood, Serena was the calm one, and her sister was the opposite, but it seemed all things changed with time.

And finally, in the Mansion was Jack and Seraphina, scared to approach Serena after the recent happenings. Anne had filed for an official divorce against him, seeking custody of Serena, which would be easily approved if they realized she was out there working to pay for her own house.

He did not acknowledge it, but knew with time he'd have to, the realization of the pain he felt, at the mere thought of losing one of his treasured daughters brought him back to his senses, and he finally ate up the heartbreak and decided to stop letting it affect anyone else in his proximity.

Lance was at a loss for what to do, wondered how he should approach her. After the kiss, he honestly thought in that war he was going to die, and presented the chance to go for it, it was either do it, or die without trying.

Yet after the whole ordeal, all her social media handles were completely inactive, she made herself scarce and geographically undesirable; she was hard to come by, and he was shy, so he could not be more assertive; he could not try to get closer to her.

And this was how their lives were taking shape. Time seemed to fly by; it felt almost like yesterday when they met. Now, he was so madly in love, not a clue of her whereabouts, and not only he, but her family missed her, while she practically went to marry solitude and work.
