It had been two hours since the young soliders had left the city for their mission, Reggie and Ralfold were sitted on a bench while looking at the blue sky above. Ralfold started the conversation "They're off on their current mission, huh.", Reggie replied like he was exhausted "It's been two hours since they left, I wonder how they're doing.". Ralfold replied "I cant help but to feel a little worried for them.",Reggie explained "Same here, but they're well trained, so I'm not too worried. Although, it's against the Knight Kingdom, so i see your point.". Reggie stood up "Let's go check up on Lord Fugaku.", Ralfold replied "Sure.". Meanwhile, at a quiet hotel room, Ranpo and Kojin were playing a game of chess, both players were thinking as carefully as they could. Ranpo muttered "This game sure can be mentally tasking.",Kojin replied "I know.". The conversation shifted "Some young soliders went on a mission today, your students were included.", Kojin said to Ranpo, Ranpo exhaled "I know that. I couldn't even talk to them before they left for the mission, I hope their okay.". Kojin took a sigh and explained to Ranpo "Ranpo, you're always too worried about things. Those kids are your students, you should have more faith in them.", Ranpo took another sigh "Ahh! I know, but missions are always going to be dangerous no matter how skilled you are.". Kojin rested his back on the chair he sat on "Whatever, they should be fine. I highly doubt if anything too crazy would happen to them. If anything, I'm more worried about whatever is going to happen in the city.", Ranpo looked at him and asked "How so?.". Ranpo explained "In all honesty, we don't know when the Knight Kingdom is going to attack, the fact that we are even attacking first is something that would guarantee the fact that they are going to attack soon.",Kojin then asked Ranpo "You mean the attack Reggie, Laria and Andre are launching this night against the science base of the Knight Kingdom? I guess you're right.". Ranpo took another sigh "Whatever, we should probably get ourselves ready for the night, anything is bound to happen.", Kojin relaxed on his chair nonchalantly "Whatever, we'll just destroy anything that gets in the way, that's how life is. We aren't weak, all of us are capable of holding our own and dominating a fight. You should relax more, Ranpo.", Ranpo smiled softly at Kojin "You're right.". Later on, Suzuha and Lerion were in Fugaku's office doing some status report, Suzuha explained as she looked at the document she was holding "So far so good, the soliders of each base I went into under the last two hours are doing well. Their training Is as intense as usual too. If anything were to attack our city, we should have no problems in fighting.", Fugaku replied "Good.", he turned to Lerion. Lerion explained "Well, I just got back from some science department accross the city, they seem to be doing well with the creation of weaponries. The mini satellite's are working well too, I'm sure they can detect anything that's heading towards the city and alarm us of anything dangerous.". Fugaku then asked "Okay? What if the satellites get destroyed and are unable to give out signals? What then?", Lerion explained "The science team are more than likely preparing for that. Although, the city has up to 133 satellites, to break one down is like trying to hack into a super computer. It's not impossible to get hacked tho, but if anything were to disrupt the signals, we would know.", Fugaku took a sigh "Hm, good enough. After this, tell Reggie to create a forum that gives all departments instructions on what too do when we're being attacked.". Lerion then asked "What if the attackers is just a person who can single handedly wreck havoc, what then?", Fugaku replied "Then you all would take care of that. And if you all cant,I'll just handle them myself.", Fugaku explained with a cold tone in his voice. Suzuha and Lerion gulped "He really is pissed, huh?", Lerion thought to himself. Reggie and Ralfold came In "Yo, Lord Fugaku.", Reggie greeted as he walked in with Ralfold. Fugaku asked "What's the matter?", Ralfold explained "Nothing really, we just came to say hi to you. Basically, Reggie just wanted to see you, that's all.", Reggie let's out a smug grin "Hmhm!". Fugaku scoffed with a smirk "Your kindness is much appreciated.", he looked at Reggie and asked "So? How well are you and Laria preparing for your night mission?". Reggie replied "Well, we're on it. I've been up since 5:00AM creating some stuff for the missions. Laria's been training too.....", his tone changed "Ummm, she's also been beating on Andre like a punching bag since training.". Fugaku scoffed "Hm, that sounds normal.", Suzuha muttered in her head "A teammate beating on another because it's training isn't normal!". Fugaku then said to his subordinates in the room "Whatever, all I want is for you all to take this seriously...", his eyes narrowed and his voice became colder "We cannot afford to lose!", everyone else took a cold tone "Yeah!", they said in unison. Six hours later in the city of pillars, the young soliders were patrolling the place, Gwen muttered "We've been patrolling for hours now, nothing seems out of the ordinary.". Regina replied "Offcourse not. If anything were to happen, it's going to be at night.", Mio replied "Yeah, I agree with Regina. Night fall is when things might get out of hand, we might drop our guards a little.", Yuki also added "That's going to be the appropriate time for the enemy to attack. Our movements are probably being observed from an angle we don't know of.". Racheal said in response "That's a good point", Yuki replied "I always bring good points.", Lydia dryly teased "Yuki, don't let your smart behaviour get to your head.". Yuki snared back dryly "Shut up.". As everyone kept walking along, Kazuma turned to Yuji who seemed to be more observant about his surroundings "Yuji, is something wrong?", Kazuma asked, Yuji didn't respond immediately "....Something's wrong.". All the girls turned to him "Huh? How so?", Mio asked, Yuji kept quiet with no response. White was looking around, especially to his left "Something's starting too feel off.", he muttered. Volt stopped walking for a moment, Regina turned to him and asked "Volt? What's up? Are you feeling well?", Volt responded bluntly "Someone's trying to shoot at us.", Kito's eye's narrowed "Hm, you sure detect things fast.". Everyone stopped to glance at their environment, Kazuma on the other hand seemed casual. A sniper that was laying 312 meters away from the team was spying on them and ready to shoot, his scope was already at Kazuma, he was ready to pull the trigger on him "Hm, that purple haired boys seems to be the only kid who's guard is down, what a total noob. He should atleast act like he knows what he's doing, poor kid.,l I'll kill him first.". Kazuma's noticed the assassin on a huge pillar despite the long distance. Kazuma smirked, looked straight at the assassin and pointed at his head as if he was giving the assassin instructions on where to shoot. The assassin was a bit taken back by this, his eyes widened a bit "Huh? Did that kid just spot me?", he asked himself. Before the assassin knew it, Yuji was behind him, dagger cocked back and ready to stab him. The assassin turned back In shock, his eyes were wide opened, he couldn't even speak. Suddenly, the pillar they were on completely crumbled to the ground like as if something had kicked it from the top, Kazuma on hearing debries falling to the ground, couldn't help it but to smirk darkly "Hm! Time to have some fun!".
