At the other side of the city of pillars, Kito and Baroka were layed on the floor, they both had sustained some injuries. Kito's hands were bleeding with scratches and burns, his head was also bleeding, he tried to push himself up with a look of difficulty on his face. Baroka on the other hand was unconscious, he also had scars on his hands, his head had sustained an injury, and his cloths were roughed up due to the battle he, Kito and the drone had. The drone on the other hand had taken damage, it's wings were almost completely destroyed, some of its wires were dangling out of its body and sparking dangerously. Despite all this, it slowly approached the two injured boys in hopes to kill them. As Kito struggled to get up, he thought to himself "This thing.... just how strong is it? Despite me and Baroka using everything we had to take this thing down, it's still standing! The worst part is that the damage it took from us.... doesn't even matter.". Baroka's fingers started to twitch "Ahhh....", he exhaled with slow pain, Kito looked at him with worry "Baroka! Are you still there?!". Baroka tried to force himself up, he muttered under his breath "I'm going to.... break that thing! I have to.... I have to destroy that thing for hurting Rem! And for hurting you too....Kito!". Kito struggle to get up, it was difficult, but he managed to get up on his two feet before falling back down "Fuck!", he muttered "I cant get up. And I don't have enough stamina to even use any of my elemental techniques! What am I going to do?!". As the drone approached Baroka and Kito who were gravely injured, it started to charge up a beam of energy at them. Kito was stunned with struggle and pain written on his face, while Baroka was too weak to even stand or fully notice what was happening around him at the moment. As the drone was about to kill the two boys with a single beam, a blast of green plasma shot at the drone, this caused one of its engines to explode due to the unknown attack. Kito was a bit stunned "What? An attack? Where did it come from?! Wait, that was plasma! Rem.....!". The drone slowly turned to Rem who had found the strength to get up even tho her abdomen was bleeding heavily, her hand was stretched out as she was only slightly out of the rubble she had crashed into "Get away.... from them!", she said as she held her bleeding stomach in a weak and tired manner. The drone slowly approached her and was ready to shoot a beam of energy at her, Kito's eyes widened "NO! No! No! PLEASE! Don't hurt her! She's my friend...", he begged with agony in his voice. Kito was using his arms to crawl all the way to the drone "Don't you dare! DONT YOU DARE HARM MY FRIEND....!". Suddenly, In that very moment, a white marking started to grow all over his arm and stretch all the way to the side of his face, a part of his hair turned white, and his face of agony started to glitch between pain and a smile of insanity. As his face did so, and as the drone was about to kill Rem with a simple blast that would have blasted a hole in her, he yelled in his head "DONT YOU DARE KILL HER!". But suddenly, just as Rem was about to get killed, Volt zoomed in at the speed of lightning, his eyes filled with murder and all sorts of killing intent. Volt brought out a dagger charger with lightning, kicked it into the drones head, and then stumped on the dagger, causing the drone to blow up in a violent charge of electricity. Kito was stunned, even Rem's eyes widened with shock "V-VOLT?!", she muttered her brothers name under her breath. Volt dropped to the ground with his two feet, he looked at the burnt pieces of the drone that he had destroyed with a dangerous look In his eyes. Volt turned around to Rem with a straight face, he looked at how she was bleeding from the stomach and how she tried holding down the blood. Volt walked up to her, removed her hand from the wound and then used his electricity to close up the wound, ultimately healing it. Rem was shocked "Ah?!", even Kito was stunned too "Wait, Volt can heal too?". Regina caught up to him "Volt, what the fuck's your problem? You can't just take off like that without a word!", she scolded him. Regina then looked around and was stunned, she saw Kito and Baroka battered and bruised, she turned to her left and saw Rem who still had the scar of the injury that was on her stomach. Regina was shocked, almost speechless, seeing her friends in a near death state like this made her pause for a moment "...", she just stared in shock. Volt called out to her "Regina...", Regina turned to Volt "What is it?!", she snared. Volt walked up to Kito and Baroka "Heal Rem up for me. I was only able to remove the injury, but I couldn't fully remove the pain in her body.", he turned to Regina "You know how to heal, right? Help me heal my sister for me.". Volt walked forward to help Kito and Baroka, he knelt down on one knee "Hey, Kito. You okay?", he asked, Kito stuttered for a moment "....I-", his mood switched immediately into annoyance. Kito asked with frustration "HEY! DO I LOOK OKAY TO YOU?!", Volt replied with a shy smile "Sorry buddy.", he helped Kito up. Kito explained "Don't worry about me, I can heal myself. Baroka's the one who needs help.", Volt walked up to Baroka "Sure, I'll get him up for you.". He approached Baroka and crouched down to him, he started to heal him, a few minutes after Volt had started to heal him, Baroka's eyes started to open up. Baroka muttered "Ahhh... what happened?", Volt replied "Don't worry, just lay down a bit.". Another few minutes go by, Kito's wounds were releasing steam and started to close up "Thanks, Volt. You saved us.", Volt replied "Nah, no need to thank me. I'm just happy I came intime to save you all.". Baroka on the other hand was sitted on the floor while resting on one of the pillars, he responded with a dry laugh "You say that like it was a coincidence. Either way, thanks, Volt.", Volt gave him a thumbs up "You're welcome.". Regina on the other hand was bandaging the place Rem got shot at "Are you still feeling any pain?", she asked, Rem replied saddened "In a way, yeah. Feels like im being stabbed.", Regina just laughed softly "Please don't say that.". Volt then passed by her, Regina turned to him and asked "Hey, Volt. How are Kito and Baroka?", Volt replied "They're fine. They just need some rest. And you too, Regina. Fighting that drone tired us both, we need rest.". Rem was staring at Volt, she had an unreadable expression on her face, her face slowly started to turn into a sad smile "You saved my life at the last second, but you still don't want to talk to me at all. You really are stubborn, Volt. But still, thank you for saving me!", Rem thought to herself. Volt took a sigh and did a single hand sign "I'll use telepathy to contact the others.". He closed his eyes and then reopened them "Mind link!".
