Kazuma was walking through the city streets, it felt lively but very quiet and peaceful at the same time. Kazuma thought to himself as he walked "Yeah, that's right. Ranpo sensei did promise me that he'd treat me too something if a won my gladiator rounds....", a smug grin grew on his face "Teehee! Looks like I'm in for a treat.", he walked into a restaurant and saw Ranpo sitted right infront of a counter. Ranpo turned back and saw Kazuma "Hey, boy. How you doing?", he asked, Kazuma waved "Hey, Ranpo sensei. Looks like you're doing well.". Kazuma took a seat "So? What's up?", Ranpo looked at him with a smirk "I'm doing well. Let's eat.". A few minutes go by, Ranpo and Kazuma were served a bowl noodles, Kazuma's eyes lite up "WOW! THIS IS COOL! NOT ONLY DO THE NOODLES LOOK GOOD, ITS WATER IS THICK WITH ALL THE FLAVOURS!", Kazuma exclaimed with excitement. Ranpo smiled softly "You better eat up before it gets cold.", Kazuma exclaimed before eating "Don't mind if I do!". Ranpo scoffed with a smile before eating his noodles as well, after eating their food, Kazuma seemed to have enjoyed himself "AHHHH! THAT WAS NICE!", he exclaimed. Ranpo then asked "You want some more?", Kazuma replied with excitement "Yeah, i want some more!". Ranpo gave the order "Two more bowls please", as soon as the two bowls of noodles dropped infront of Kazuma, he became excited and started eating them at once. Ranpo asked again after watching Kazuma gobble down two bowls without problem "You want another set?", he asked, Kazuma replied "Yep!". Ranpo then asked "Six more bowls please!", Kazuma ate the six bowls as soon as they were placed in from of him, "MORE!", Kazuma exclaimed. Ranpo then asked "Twelve more, please.", the waitress replied with excitement "Coming right up~", this continued for almost an hour. People who were in the restaurant were a bit stunned, they saw a huge pile of plates and bowls right beside Kazuma. Kazuma had taken down about a hundred bowls of noodles within an hour, Kazuma sighed in relief "AHHHH! THAT WAS FUN! HONESTLY, ITS BEEN LONG SINCE I ATE LIKE THAT. SERIOUSLY, THANKS RANPO SENSEI.", Ranpo replied "No worries.". The waitress came in with a bill "Good afternoon sir, this is your bill.", Ranpo took a look at the bill and smiled nervously "Wow, that's a lot.", Kazuma asked "Is there a problem?", Ranpo replied "It's fine.". A few minutes later, Kazuma and Ranpo are walking around a supermarket district "I'll be helping you with some new clothes, so pick whatever you want.", Ranpo said to Kazuma. Kazuma looked around "Wow, there are so many clothes too choose from.", he muttered to himself before stopping, Ranpo turned to Kazuma and asked "Hm? What's wrong, kid? You see something you like?". Kazuma replied "Actually I have. That bracelet, the one gleaming white. I like it.", Ranpo took a look at what Kazuma was talking about "Hm? Oh, that. You like it?", Kazuma turned to Ranpo with excitement "I wanna buy it.", Ranpo replied "Yeah, yeah! I'll get it for you.". Ranpo then asked the shop owner "Good evening ma'am, how much is that bracelet? The one that looks like a wrist sized chain.", the shop owner replied "Oh, that? That'll cost 600 Neroids.". Ranpo smiled nervously "600 you say. It's funny coz I just spent that same amount on food.", Ranpo gave out 600 Neroids to the shop owner In exchange of the chain "Thanks for shopping with me....", the lady said with enthusiasm. As both teacher and student continued to walk accross the shopping district, Kazuma was fawning all over the hand chain Ranpo had bought him "AAAAAH! THIS IS AWESOME!", Ranpo sighed with a defeated smile "1,200 Neroids down the drain. Whatever tho.". Ranpo then called out to Kazuma "Hey, Kazuma. Come here.", Kazuma picked up the pace and sped walked all the way to Ranpo "Yes, Ranpo Sensei?", he asked. Ranpo asked "How are Yuji and Mio doing? I haven't seen him since a week ago.", Kazuma responded "Oh, them? They're fine. I spoke with Yuji today, we both met up with our other friends and did some fooling around. As for Mio, she's alright. I mean, the last time i saw her was two days ago where she.....", Kazuma paused for a moment with a shocked look "SHIT! I almost told him about that morning!", he thought to himself with a worried tone. Ranpo noticed this "Is there a problem?", he asked, Kazuma shyly responded "No! No! Everything's fine.", Ranpo then muttered "I'm starting to think everything's not fine.". Ranpo took a sigh "Well, whatever. I'm just glad you're doing well. Infact, watching your elimination and gladiator rounds made me happy that you're my students. Yuji's blade works have grown incredibly sharper than before, Mio's fighting styles have improved, and your battle strategies and skills have once again surprised me. Seeing you all improve like this makes me feel more confident in you all.", hearing this made Kazuma jolt a little. He turned to Ranpo "You really mean that?", he asked "Ranpo had a soft smile on his face "Yep.". As they kept walking, Ranpo pointed at something "Hey, Kazuma. Look at that jacket over there.", Kazuma turned to what Ranpo was talking about, his eyes widened "Wow.". Kazuma saw a purple jacket with short sleeves, white liners and a standing collar with small zippers, his eyes widened more "So..... COOOOL!", he exclaimed in his head. After some time of shopping, Kazuma and Ranpo were walking on the city streets, this was 12:25 PM In the afternoon, Kazuma was looking at the new cloths and shoes Ranpo had just bought for him. Ranpo looked at Kazuma with a smirk "You like it?", he asked, Kazuma replied "Yeah, I do. I like the sneakers and boots we got. I also like the jacket and the hand chain as well.". Ranpo smirked "Glad to hear it. You know, I'm a guy who like to keep his word. I did promise you that I'd spoil you if you won the gladiator round, and here we are. I just spent at least 3000 Neroids getting all this for you.". Kazuma didn't say a word, he just kept quiet, Ranpo asked him "Hm? What's the matter?", Kazuma responded "Nothing really. It's just, I'm glad. I'm just happy I'm here to be able to have all these things. I mean, I've been through a lot of missions. Most of them are extremely dangerous than expected, but I'm still alive and kicking. I feel..... great.". Ranpo smiled "I'm glad you're happy. By the way, you should say hello to your sister, I want her to know that her brother's in good hands.", Kazuma replied "You mean, Reine? Eh, I guess i can call her.". The next day, Kazuma, Yuji and Mio were in the training grounds standing toe to toe against Ranpo. Ranpo exclaimed with excitement "Okay, kids! Here's how it's gonna be. First person to lay a scratch on me wins! Got it.?!", Yuji smirked with his daggers in hand "Really? That simple?", Mio added with a smirk as her hands were covered with thick red flames in the shape of claws "Sure, no problem. Let's go!". Kazuma smirked "Hm, that sounds like fun. I guess we should comply.". The trio rushed towards Ranpo, all ready to attack "LET'S KICK RANPO SENSEI'S ASS!", Kazuma exclaimed with excitement. Ranpo just smirked "Hm, you three have grown stronger. Kazuma, Mio, Yuji. I'm really happy you three are my students.".
