He thought to himself as he watched his student go through the training he had put him into "Hm, he seems to be holding up pretty well. Compared to Rem or Kito, Baroka has alot of strength and energy control. Not just that, but he's more mentally stabled than they are. He sure has a lot of discipline too.". As Reggie continued to watch his student charging up a huge amount of energy from his body while holding two hundred tons on each hand, he muttered again "I decided to give Baroka this training method for today, this is based on the fact that I want to test out his endurance and stamina. Sure, he already has all that in check, but I didn't like seeing him lose in the elimination rounds. To be honest, not everyone would respect Baroka's discipline and noble behaviour. Sure, he gets the job done and kills when he has too, but seeing a kid who still has a sliver of nobility and discipline like he does in this world is something I genuinely want to protect as his teacher.". Reggie called out to Baroka "Hey, Baroka! You can stop now!", Baroka took a sigh of relief as his flaring energy just vanished with him immediately letting go of the metal balls on his hands "HWOOOO! It's just that your training for me today was harder than usual.". Reggie just giggled "Hm, you think? Well I'm glad to see you're getting stronger. Normally, I call you, Kito and Rem together for group training. But right now, i want to be taking my time training you all individually.", Baroka looked confused "Hm? Why tho?", he asked. Reggie explained "Because it gives me enough time to study you all. I want to be able to understand what you all specialise in, as well as what you can improve on.". Baroka took a sigh "I see, so that's how it is.", Reggie continued to explain "When it comes to Kito's training, I basically train him In terms of combat and overall battle tactics. When it comes to Rem, I usually teach her how to control her plasma and make her hits decisive. Her combat abilities are good as they are, so I don't bother about that. And as for you, I train you in terms of endurance and durability.". Baroka proceeded to muttered under his breath with a nervous smile "No wonder you knock me out cold in our spars.", Reggie replied "I can hear you.". Reggie proceeded to take a sigh and explain "Look, you, Kito and Rem are a team. My job as your team leader is to help you all achieve the highest levels of skills and power you possibly can.". Baroka stood up and dusted himself "Yeah, got it. But Reggie sensei, if I actually had to say, I'd say you actually prefer Kito more than you actually prefer Rem or myself.", Reggie blinked and asked "What made you think that?". Baroka explained "Well, mainly because you tend to be more harsher to him when it comes to training. And when it comes to just plain day to day life, you both seem to resonate well.". Reggie just scoffed "Hm, is that it? Well I can't lie to you now, I actually prefer hanging around Kito more. It's not like as if I don't like being with you nor Rem, but I relate more with Kito.". Reggie stretched his arms a bit "Unlike most kids, Kito doesn't have a clear advantage in anything. At first, he seemed weak, that's why some kids laughed at him. But as time went on, tho he didn't show it at first, his lust for improvement and knowledge is something that keeps him pushing. That and his psychotic tendency to destroy stuff when pissed.". Baroka replied after listening to Reggie "I guess I understand your point. Whatever, I'm going home.", Baroka walked past his teacher with a wave "I'll see you later, Sensei.", Reggie waved back at him with a smile "Yeah, see you.". He thought to himself while watching Baroka walk home "Honestly, in a world ad dangerous and selfish as this, Baroka is really a good guy. He feels compasion for even his enemies. As his teacher, I'd be damned if i ever let anything turn him cold.". At White's house, Kazuma, Kito, Yuji and Volt were just leaving, Kazuma waved to White who was standing at the mansions front door "See you later, White.", White watched his friends walk away "See ya.". The group of friends left the mansion's compound, White sighed and thought to himself "HWHOO. That was wierd, suddenly changing the vibe from a chill meeting with friends to a life or death mission coming up is just wierd.", White walked into the mansion "Whatever. At least now they're prepared for whatever's gonna happen next.". As the group of friends walked, Volt pointed to another direction "Hey, I'm going home, I'll see you guys some other time.", Kazuma then tells him "Be careful, okay?", Volt gave a thumbs up as he walked off. Kito too then explained "I'll also be going home, I have something to do as well.", Kazuma replied "More like you wanna sleep all day.". Kito just scoffed "Even if I want to sleep all day, how's that your deal?", Kazuma replied "Lazy ass.". Kito proceeded to jump on the roof top of a nearby building and waved "We'll talk later.", he zoomed off. Yuji looked at Kito flying from different roof tops "Well, he's gone. I guess we both have to hang out together.", Kazuma replied "Seems like it.". Suddenly, Kazuma's phone buzzed "Hm?", he muttered, he picked up his phone and saw a message, it was from Ranpo. Yuji asked "What's the matter?", Kazuma replied with a mild smile "I have something important I have to do.", he jumped away "We'll talk later, Yuji.", Kazuma said out to Yuji as his voice faded due to distance. Yuji now being alone just sighed "Now I'm the only one left out. Whatever, I'll go home either way.".
