Ivy's POV
I watched fury and desperation flash across Kathrine's face as her arm sprouted fur. Her claws emerged, slashing at the binding on her hand. With lightning speed, I grabbed her wrist and slammed it back down onto the chair arm.
"And where do you think you're going?" I asked, clicking my tongue in disapproval.
"Let me go!" Her scream hit my face with full force as she struggled to complete her shift.
I stood, pressing her arm firmly against the wooden surface. "Well, that isn't going to work for me." The silvered rope dangled from my hands as I stared down at her. "I was trying to give you an out, Kathrine. I truly hoped you'd be smart enough to take it. But I guess you want to see how long you can keep up this act."
I began wrapping the silver-infused rope around her arm and the chair. Her skin immediately reacted—hissing, bubbling on contact with the silver. As I secured each loop, her screams grew louder.
