Ivy's POV
"You act like I'm some kind of disease." Jade jumped to her feet, her voice trembling with indignation.
I felt Killian stirring beneath my skin as I snarled, "To me, to Killian, you are exactly that." My wolf's rage bubbled so close to the surface I could barely contain it. "Let me break this down for you. You know how you feel about Warren? That overwhelming sense that he's yours and yours alone?"
I paused, watching possessiveness flash across her face.
"Yes," she bit out through clenched teeth.
"That feeling that no one should touch him, be near him, or even think about flirting with him? That primal instinct that makes you want to destroy anyone who tries to take him?" I waited, my eyes locked on hers.
"Yes," Jade admitted reluctantly.
