Ivy's POV
"Give it back." Kathrine screamed, lunging forward in a desperate attempt to bite me since her hands were bound by the silvered rope. I effortlessly moved my hand away from her snapping teeth.
"Why would I do that?" I examined the necklace, turning it over between my fingers. "It's quite beautiful. Where did you get it?"
"I got it from my mom," she hissed through clenched teeth.
"Really? Why was she sorry?" I asked casually.
Confusion flashed across Kathrine's face. "What? She wasn't. She got it for my birthday this year." Her eyes narrowed dangerously. "Give it back."
"When is your birthday?" I asked, ignoring her demand.
"What?" She shook her head in frustration. "What the hell does that have to do with anything?"
