Chapter 99 - Chapter 99. Loki: Why is that villain here again!?

Alaric's voice echoed throughout all of Asgard.

The sudden sound made many pause or set aside their tasks, turn their heads, and look suspiciously in the direction of the Rainbow Bridge, wondering who was so bold as to dare cause a ruckus here!

Even Loki, who was studying in the library of the Golden Palace, heard the shouting.

Loki put down his book, frowned, and looked in that direction with displeasure, not knowing how Heimdall was doing his job when he allowed such a rude person to enter.

Only… why did this voice sound so familiar to Loki?

Loki touched his chin and pondered, listened and listened, then his face suddenly changed.

"Alaric!?"

"Why is that villain here again!?"

As soon as Loki heard that the person was actually Alaric, his body couldn't help but tremble!

The painful memory of being teased by Alaric last time resurfaced in his mind!

Obviously, he had forgotten about it through studying these past few days!!

As a result, Loki feared he would start having nightmares again as soon as he fell asleep!!

"That's Alaric? He came to Asgard?"

Frigga also recognized Alaric's voice, smiled warmly, and walked outside.

Frigga didn't mind Alaric's lack of decorum, because she felt that Alaric, in character, was similar to Thor, generous and informal, pleasant.

And in terms of intelligence, he was no weaker than Loki, perhaps even superior; it was precisely because of Alaric that Loki, who had always been restless, actually shut himself in the library and began seriously studying magic.

That greatly pleased Frigga and deeply satisfied Odin.

So Frigga felt that Alaric was like a fusion of her two sons and treated him completely like a child of her own.

Not to mention that Frigga was also on good terms with the Ancient One, so she naturally didn't mind these little things.

But the fact that Frigga didn't mind didn't mean Odin was happy.

He sat on the throne in the Golden Palace, expression dark.

"This kid, does he not know to come closer and speak? What kind of manners are those, shouting like that!?"

If he could, Odin would really prefer to blast Alaric back to Earth with Gungnir!

But thinking of his imminent end and countless future disturbances, Odin couldn't help but sigh.

Because of the Ancient One's reputation, Odin didn't want to cause a scene.

"Heimdall, open the Bifrost."

Odin sent a message to Heimdall, who was glaring angrily at Alaric.

"Yes, All-Father!"

"Told you, just open the door earlier." Alaric shook his head.

"Hmph!"

Heimdall shot Alaric a sharp look, stepped into the center, and grasped the hilt of his sword.

Seeing that, Alaric immediately returned to Earth.

"Come, get ready." Alaric wrapped his arm around Jane's slender waist and said softly.

"Huh? What do I need to do?!"

"Nothing, just look up."

"Hmm!" Jane obediently looked up.

Then she saw a rainbow fall from the sky, enveloping the two of them.

"Ahhh!!"

Jane, who suddenly felt weightless, hugged Alaric tightly and closed her eyes in fear.

"Don't be scared, look, this is the Rainbow Bridge."

Alaric's reassurance made Jane open her eyes and see the brilliant, magical sight before her.

"Are we in a wormhole now?" Jane exclaimed and asked!

"Sort of, we're just passing through, and look at those rainbow colors outside."

"What's out there!?" Jane asked loudly.

"Out there is space, or a strange planet, or some other place."

"Aliens really exist?!"

"Not just aliens, but gods~ Now we're going to Asgard from the mythical stories."

"Oh my God! I'm going to meet Odin, the All-Father!!" Jane shouted excitedly!

Time passed quickly and, before Jane could get a better look, she had already arrived in a strange place and saw a figure in golden armor.

"Let me introduce you, this is Heimdall, the guardian of Asgard, in charge of watching over the Rainbow Bridge."

"Hello!" Jane greeted formally.

But Heimdall was still very angry with Alaric, so he only nodded casually and didn't care much.

That made Jane very nervous and embarrassed, feeling that so-called gods were indeed proud and cold.

"Ehm, O…" Alaric looked at Heimdall with dissatisfaction and opened his mouth.

"Hello, hello! I'm Heimdall!"

Heimdall saw that Alaric was about to cause trouble again, so he quickly switched to a polite tone, forced a stiff smile, and introduced himself to Jane.

"Hello, hello! I'm Jane!" Jane flinched and quickly smiled.

"Alright, let's go inside." Alaric pulled Jane and flew toward the Immortal Palace in Asgard.

"Alaric, do you know this place well? Do you come often? Why is Heimdall afraid of you?"

Jane saw Heimdall examining the two of them up and down and couldn't help but ask.

And Heimdall, hearing Jane say he was afraid of Alaric, was furious!

What's this now, as if he's afraid of Alaric?!

He didn't want this brat to damage Odin's reputation!!

"I haven't come often, this is the second time; as for Heimdall being afraid of me, maybe it's because I'm better than him."

Alaric explained nonchalantly.

"You're amazing!" Jane's eyes looked at Alaric with admiration!

"Alright, don't look at me, look at Asgard; this long path is the Rainbow Bridge, and in the distance is the Golden Palace, where the gods of Asgard live."

"Hmm! It's so beautiful!!"

"I'll take you to meet Odin, and the queen of the gods, Frigga, and I don't know if Thor is home this time."

"Thor? That Thor with the hammer?!"

"Yes, him!"

"I actually get to see a god!"

Jane still felt like she was dreaming an unbelievably wonderful dream!

Especially when she saw the beautiful Asgard, that feeling became even stronger!

If this is a dream, Jane hoped she would never wake up!!

Alaric led Jane across the Bifrost, and then saw Frigga, who had been waiting for a long time.

"Queen of the gods? Why are you here?"

"I was waiting for you~" the queen smiled.

"Jane, this is Frigga, queen of the gods, a very kind person!" Alaric sincerely introduced.

"Hello! I'm Jane Foster!" Jane was extremely reserved and felt lost.

She was a mortal, and actually saw a mythical god—who would believe that!!

Moreover, in the mythical story, Jane was now the incredibly lucky person who had the chance to meet a god!!

"You're Alaric's girl, I'm glad to meet you!" Frigga stepped forward and warmly took Jane's hand.

"Nice to meet you too…"

"Alaric, go find Odin, he's looking for you; leave your girl to me, I'll take her on a tour~"

"Alright." Alaric nodded.

"Alaric…" Jane looked at him nervously.

"It's alright, the Queen of the gods is wonderful, don't be nervous."

Alaric reassured Jane and watched Frigga lead her away.

With Frigga, he was at ease, believing they would soon get along well.

Then Alaric flew toward the Golden Palace.

Alaric didn't quite understand, does Asgard also have meetings every day? Why does Odin like sitting on that throne so much?
