Chapter 98 - Chapter 98. Odin! I Am Alaric, Come On, Help Open the Gate!!

The warm fragrance and jade in his arms, Alaric unexpectedly embraced Jane's soft body.

After experiencing it personally, Alaric felt his chest wrapped in softness.

"Are you that excited?" Alaric teased.

"Yes, I want to see you!"

Jane rested her head on Alaric's chest, her nose absorbing the scent emanating from Alaric's body, and said in a muffled voice.

"Alaric, do you want to see me too?"

Jane suddenly raised her head and stared at Alaric's eyes in astonishment.

Those cosmically deep eyes still made Jane want to drown in them.

"Yes, I want to see you too." Alaric looked at the face getting closer and lowered his head to kiss her.

Since Jane had taken the initiative, Alaric didn't reject it and immediately went on the offensive.

The two hugged each other, embracing tighter and tighter.

After a long time, Jane stopped, her cheeks red, and created a little distance.

"Alaric, I like you!"

Jane's eyes seemed covered with a layer of watery mist, and she sincerely revealed her love.

"I like you too, Jane." Alaric stroked Jane's hair.

On the sofa, the two of them were closely snuggled together.

"Alaric, you said you're a mage? Is that the same as a witch in movies? Are there many spells?"

"Yes, only my magic is not the same as theirs."

Alaric said this and waved his right hand, and suddenly the table, chair, and sofa under Alaric and Jane floated in the entire room.

"Oh my God!!"

Jane watched this incomparably magical scene and was speechless!

"And this."

Alaric snapped his fingers, and suddenly a group of golden butterflies appeared in the room, circling and fluttering!

Alaric suddenly realized that besides combat and "posing," magic could actually be used to win the heart of a beautiful woman!!!

"It's wonderful!!"

Alaric controlled the sofa to slowly fly through the air.

"I can't believe it! The legend is actually real!"

Jane was utterly amazed by Alaric's magical sorcery!

"If magic also exists, then, Alaric, does time and space travel exist too?"

Jane suddenly looked at Alaric with excitement.

"Yes, so your wormhole theory is correct, we can travel through time and space."

"Oh my God! Then how exactly did it come to be? And how did you do it!?"

"Do you want to experience it?"

"Can I!?" Jane said excitedly.

"Of course~"

Alaric returned the various levitating objects in the air to their original places, then pulled Jane along and opened a portal.

"This is New York, my home."

Alaric brought Jane to the New York Temple.

"It really can be done!! Incredible!!"

Jane pushed the doors and stepped onto the street, looking at a scene different from London; Jane even wondered if she was dreaming!

"I'll take you up."

Alaric reached out around Jane's waist, teleported, and came into the sky above New York.

"It's so beautiful!"

New York below, brightly lit and magnificent, deeply mesmerized Jane!

This was the first time she had seen the city from this perspective!

Completely different from when she was in a plane!

"Is there a place you want to go?"

"Anywhere?"

"Yes, anywhere." Alaric nodded.

"I want to go to Santorini, the Amalfi Coast, Hawaii, Paris, Venice… Is that too much?"

Jane excitedly rattled off a list of places, then looked at Alaric sheepishly.

"It's not, as long as you want to go, we can go anytime~"

Alaric waved his hand, and a portal flashed.

"That's amazing!!"

Alaric took Jane through different countries and places and enjoyed countless sceneries together with her.

"It's a shame, I can't understand your magic, nor confirm it with theory."

Jane, who was sitting on a cliff waiting for the sunrise, said with regret.

The portal was too direct and simple for Jane to explain with rigorous science.

As for those dimensional energies and spells, they were completely irreconcilable with Jane's research!

If Jane wrote a paper on teleportation magic, it would probably end up in the realm of theology.

"Speaking of which, didn't you record many notes about this universe through the legends of Asgard?"

"I did, but those are myths and legends, they can't really exist."

"What if I told you they really do exist?" Alaric smiled.

"You don't mean it!? That's a myth!!"

Jane looked at Alaric in disbelief, wondering if Alaric was teasing her.

"When have I lied to you? And Bifrost can prove your wormhole theory, as well as the real existence of the Nine Realms and the World Tree."

Alaric said this, pulled Jane, and came to a vast place.

"Then how do we get there?" Jane tightly held Alaric's hand.

"Simple, wait for me to ask someone to open the Rainbow Bridge, and I'll take you to see it with your own eyes."

Alaric explained, then looked up at the sky.

"Heimdall, please open the gate."

After Alaric finished, he waited calmly.

Then half a minute passed, and there was no movement.

"Did… it not work?" Jane asked uncertainly.

"Ahem, maybe he didn't hear, wait."

Alaric closed his eyes and activated his soul projection.

Asgard, Bifrost.

Heimdall heard Alaric's call but ignored it.

After all, Alaric was not close to him.

Besides, who do you think I am, Heimdall, protector of the divine kingdom?

That I'll open the gate just because you ask?

And you don't even have a serious reason to use Bifrost!

Isn't it too much to waste Asgardian resources just for romance!?

Heimdall ignored him regardless.

Then Alaric arrived at the gate.

"Heimdall, you're overdoing it, this is really embarrassing me."

Alaric suddenly appeared in front of Heimdall.

"You're… a soul projection?!" Heimdall saw that Alaric's body was still on Earth.

"Why won't you open the gate?"

"You're not from our Asgard, and without the command of King Odin, I can't open Bifrost on my own."

Heimdall said honestly.

"So, only if Odin agrees?"

"That's right."

"Alright." Alaric nodded and walked past Heimdall.

Heimdall thought Alaric went to ask Odin for permission, and quietly closed his eyes.

Then, in the next moment, he suddenly opened his eyes wide and turned around.

Because Alaric…

"Odin! I am Alaric, come on, help open the gate!!"

"Be quiet! Don't shout!!"

Heimdall was shocked and tried to stop Alaric.

But Alaric was only a soul projection and had no body, so Heimdall couldn't stop him.

"Odin!!"

"Be quiet!!"
