[time skip 5 years]
Time in Ooo goes by so fast, yet strangely slow. But in those times, it's always full of extraordinary things. Over the past five years, Ooo has been blessed with the arrival of new heroes—at first only heard of through rumors. In that span, many threats have been pushed back: monster attacks, bandits, and even the smaller troubles.
The residents of Ooo are very grateful for this change, especially since the disappearance of Billy—the greatest hero Ooo ever had. He always did heroic deeds, but then suddenly vanished, leaving Ooo without a protector against its many dangers.
Even though on the surface it looks safe, Ooo is still a dangerous place for those who can't defend themselves. A land full of mutated monsters and strange things, where fear is always close. As we know, Ooo is a land of bizarre magic, where even its people aren't human.
That is, until the two of them appeared—two strangers out of nowhere, showing up for the first time when a great kingdom was under attack. Fearless, they threw themselves into battle for people they didn't even know.
For complete strangers, they fought against evil and became saviors. That was the birth of new heroes. From then on, they kept doing good deeds, praised by those they saved. Their very first act was saving one of Ooo's great kingdoms—the Candy Kingdom—from bandits. At first it seemed like simple good news, but it turned out to be only the beginning of something far greater.
Since then, the people of Ooo have kept seeking out their heroes. Wherever the two wander, people say they're on adventures, traveling across Ooo and meeting many along the way, never realizing how famous they've become. Each time they see someone in danger—whether grass folk or dragon eels—they rush to help, never caring who it is.
And now, where are they? Right now, they're saving a kingdom in a valley full of slime.
-----
Somewhere deep in Ooo, the ground shook with a thunderous BOOM. Not the kind of explosion you'd hear from a bomb—this was the earth cracking from the impact of something colossal.
"Jake! Nine o'clock!" shouted a small but fierce figure, no older than ten, his voice sharp over the chaos.
"Woooah!" yelled his partner—an unusual yellow dog, body stretched unnaturally long, moving on two legs as if his shape knew no limits. He twisted his limbs like rubber to dodge a crashing blow. "Phewww… that was close! Thanks, bro!"
The boy, gripping a golden sword, parried another incoming strike. "Hah! No problem, Jake!"
Before them loomed their foe—a monstrous creature, towering above the battlefield. It had the body of a bull twisted by mutation, muscles bulging like cords of rope, veins crawling across its flesh. Its huge head swung violently as it roared, charging again and again with blind fury. A minotaur? No. This thing wasn't intelligent. It was no more than a beast of instinct.
"Be careful, Finn! Jake!" shouted a voice from behind cover. A sentient green slime,a princess? peeked out from under a rock with her people, her crown wobbling nervously as she watched.
The battlefield was a nightmare—slime covering the ground in sticky pools that clung to boots and paws, slowing every step. For most, it would've been impossible to move. But the two figures in the center fought as if the muck weren't even there.
They weren't just anybody. These were Ooo's new heroes.
Finn and Jake.
Not brothers by blood, but bound by been raised together. Since the day they saved the Candy Kingdom five years ago, they had thrown themselves into battle after battle—earning the trust, praise, and love of the people across the land.
"Jake! Any ideas, bro?!" Finn shouted, glancing back at his partner as he ducked another swipe of the monster's claws.
Finn was taller now—grown from the five-year-old boy into a wiry ten-year-old, standing 4'11 feet. His familiar outfit had matured with him: a Munsell-blue shirt, slightly baggy denim shorts, white rolled-down socks, black shoes, and that iconic white bear-eared hat. Golden hair peeked out from beneath it as he moved with fierce determination.
Jake, panting slightly, stretched his arms wide to block another slam. His bulldog face was calm but strained. "I don't know, man, this cow's built different! Been thirty-four minutes and it's still standing!"
Finn smirked, sword flashing as he parried once more. "Heh. I've got a plan."
Jake blinked, then grinned wide. "Aha! I know that look. Alright, bro, let's hear it!"
"I see its weakness!" Finn yelled. "Grab me—launch me up high!"
Jake hesitated only a second, dodging another ground-shaking stomp. "That… doesn't sound logical at all. But hey, I'm in!"
He stretched his arms like ropes, scooping Finn up and slinging him skyward. Finn twisted midair, eyes locked on the monster's spine. His golden sword gleamed in the sunlight.
"Hiyyaaaaah!" Finn cried, plunging down like a comet. The blade pierced straight into the beast's back, finding the soft joint between bone and muscle. The monster let out one last shuddering roar before collapsing, shaking the slimy battlefield in its death throes.
"Wooooah! Hah… haah… hahaha—did you see that?!" Finn panted hard, still catching his breath after driving his sword deep into the monster's back.
Jake jogged up beside him, tail wagging. "Hahaha! Finn, you're awesome, man." He gave a big thumbs-up.
Finn grinned wide, leaning on his sword. "Hah, thanks, Jake. You too, dude."
The brothers shared a laugh, their exhaustion melting into relief. Together, they walked toward the spot where the royal figure had been hiding—the ruler of this region, surrounded by her subjects.
"Oh, thank goodness you two are alright," said Slime Princess, her form wobbling slightly as she stepped forward, a smile of pure relief spreading across her face. Her people peeked out nervously from behind her, their eyes glowing faintly in the slime's dim light.
Slime Princess was the ruler of the Slime Kingdom, a realm hidden deep beneath the Desert Lands. Unlike the bubbly cartoon version Finn—our mc vaguely remembered, this Slime Princess appeared far more humanoid that her cartoon counter part.
Finn sure she didn't not looked like this,in his memories slime princess, her She appears as a dull small green blob creature, with a yellowish center. She also wears a tall tiara with a light green gem on it. Slime Princess also possesses two small arms which can recede into the rest of her body. But now she look defferent just like others creatures he been seen in ooo all these years go around adventure and be Hero.
Her figure was short and petite, her transparent green body shimmering like glass. A soft, yellowish core pulsed gently inside her abdomen, glowing faintly. Her tiara, with its pale green jewel, gleamed as if untouched by the battle's chaos.
"Thank you… for saving us again, Finn and Jake," she said, bowing slightly.
Jake puffed out his chest proudly, tail wiggling with energy. "Heh, no worries, Slime Princess. This is just an everyday job for us now anyway."
"Hah, yeah—Jake's right, Princess." Finn plopped his arm casually on top of his brother's head. "Being heroes? That's kind of our profession these days, right jake."said finn while his brother just chuckle."heheh heck yeah."both of them doing first bump.
The slime princess giggled softly, the sound like water bubbling in a spring, while her subjects chattered with excitement. The day was safe again—all thanks to Ooo's heroes.
As the Slime Princess giggled softly, an elegant sound that contrasted her small frame. She gazed at the two heroes who had once again come to her kingdom's aid—just as they had for so many others.
"Finn, Jake," she said gently, her voice calm yet carrying the weight of authority. "You two work so hard. Once again, I'm truly thankful you came and saved my kingdom."
Though she looked childlike in stature, her mature tone and aura radiated strength and grace.
"Aaawweee, don't be like that, Princess," Jake said, blushing under her praise. His dog tail wagged uncontrollably, making Finn snicker.
But Slime Princess shook her head. "No—I mean it. I really appreciate that you're here. This monster had been terrorizing the Slime Kingdom for nearly two weeks. It went berserk, killed some of my people, drained their slime, and devoured their cores. So yes—I am deeply grateful." Her smile warmed despite the grim words.
Finn and Jake both smiled widely, nodding. They loved seeing people safe and happy—especially Finn, who always felt that familiar warmth in his chest. Helping people gave him more strength than any sword or training ever could.
"Please, stay awhile. Allow me to host a feast for you—I insist," Slime Princess said, bowing low with gratitude.
"Well… Jake?" Finn turned to his brother.
"Heheh, I dunno, man. Sounds nice though. And I kinda hu—" Before Jake could finish, his stomach rumbled loud enough for the slimes nearby to giggle.
"I believe that's a yes?" Slime Princess teased, smiling.
"Hehehe, hungry already, bro?" Finn laughed, earning an embarrassed grin from Jake.
"My bad, bro," Jake said sheepishly, though he was clearly excited.
Together, they followed the princess and her people into the heart of the Slime Kingdom. Cheers rose all around as slimefolk praised their heroes. That night, they celebrated with a feast full of strange dishes, wobbly drinks, and even stranger dances. Finn laughed until his sides hurt, and Jake clapped along as the slime people showed off their surprisingly smooth dance moves.
---
Later that same day, after nearly an hour of food and party after their succsesfull saving people of slime's, the two heroes emerged from the slime lake—the shimmering gateway between the underground kingdom and the outside world.
"Pheeew, I'm stuffed," Jake groaned, patting his round belly. Thanks to his shapeshifting body, it bulged comically. "Didn't even know slime people food could be that good."
"Hahaha, yeah—and that was fun, too. Didn't know slime people could throw down such sick dance moves," Finn added, grinning.
They walked side by side through the desert wasteland, past old ruins and dead trees scattered like bones across the land.
"Hey, Finn," Jake said, glancing up at his little brother—now ten years old, yet taller then himself still having the same goofy face of his adopted little brother. "What should we do next?"
"Hmmm? Did you forget?" Finn asked with a calm smile as he looked at his yellow dog brother. "We were gonna hit the market after this. You said we needed to grab some supplies for the tree house since we ran out of food this morning."
Jake froze, then slapped his forehead with his paw. "Oooh, shoot! You're right! We were planning to stock up after all this adventuring. Man, I completely spaced."
With his usual laid-back attitude, Jake stretched his body, enlarging himself so Finn could hop onto his back. Together, they left the sandy desert behind and started toward the lush green fields leading to the marketplace.
The scene shifted as the wasteland gave way to vibrant grasslands. Soon, they arrived at a bustling medieval-style market, alive with chatter and trade. Stalls lined the path, run by all kinds of strange and wonderful folk of Ooo: talking fruits, slime vendors, candyfolk, even a humanoid mutant selling bags of chips. The air carried scents of roasted meats, fresh bread, and bizarre ice cream flavors like pizza swirl and spicy chili crunch.
"Here we are!" Jake announced, shrinking himself back to normal dog size as Finn hopped down.
"Here, take the money, bro," Finn said, pulling out a small bag of gold coins from his green backpack.
"Huh? You're not coming with me this time?" Jake asked, taking the coins with a curious tilt of his head.
"Nah," Finn replied with a mischievous grin. "I kinda wanna check something out on my own. We'll split up and meet back here after we're done."
Jake chuckled and shrugged. "Hah, alright. Just be careful, little buddy." With that, he trotted off toward the food stalls, already eyeing a vendor grilling giant skewers of mystery meat.
Finn watched him go, then adjusted his backpack straps. His goofy smile lingered, but his eyes carried a spark of something else.
"Alright… now, let's stick to the plan," he muttered under his breath before heading deeper into the crowd.
------------------------------------------
FINN POV:
I strolled through the market, weaving between colorful stalls, my eyes scanning the crowd for the person I came here to find. Every step I took, familiar voices called out.
"Hey, Finn!" A bluish mutant waved as he shopped with his family.
"Yo, Finn!" shouted a bulky guy from Muscle Kingdom.
"How's it going, Hero!" another voice chimed in from behind a cart.
Before I could answer, someone at a fruit stall tossed something at me. "Here, Finn—catch!"
I caught the apple with a grin. "Ah, thanks!" I said, taking a big bite. Sweet, fresh, a little tart—perfect. After all that heavy, slimy food from Slime Kingdom, this was just what I needed.
"No need to thank me, dear Hero," the fruit vendor, a cheerful woman, said warmly. "It's just a small gesture of gratitude for everything you've done."
I waved back, my heart a little lighter. Moments like these still hit me sometimes—how far me and Jake had come.
This second life of mine, living as Finn the Human—the main character from the cartoon I used to binge back in my old world—has been nothing short of awesome. Somehow, I've managed to carve out my own name here alongside Jake, and over the past five years, we've gone from strangers with a tree house to heroes people can actually count on.
It all started with that day at Candy Kingdom. We weren't looking for glory; we were just house-hunting, looking for a place to settle in. Instead, we ended up saving an entire kingdom. That was the spark—the real beginning.
After that? From start of our first Adventure all gone good—Adventure after adventure. Saving Candy Kingdom wasn't even our last run-in with danger that first year. Months later, when trouble hit again, we stepped in without a second thought—we helped them and saving them without second though well most of all it because my inner self that want help people and be Hero like finn. And then the rumors… man, those rumors spread fast. First time me and Jake Heard the rumors was when ke and Jake helping Woods folks with their food trouble, after done helping them they mention about the rumors that people started whispering about two heroes who saved Princess Bubblegum from some puny bandits. The truth was simpler than the stories—but yeah lots thing happened that day, but the way those tales grew? Wild.
I still remember how embarrassed Jake got the first time someone praised him in public. He laughed so hard he turned red under his fur, but deep down, I think he liked it.
At the time, we had no clue who kept spreading the word. Not even Princess Bubblegum knew when we ask her. Later, we found out—it was Lumpy Space Princess all along. Figures...
Sigh… yeah, that one. And of course, her personality was exactly the same as in the show—like one of those white girls from a high school drama tv show in early 2000s, always gossiping and acting like the world revolved around her.
But you know what really made me feel unhinged? She was so touchy. Like, constantly. It was annoying as hell. And on top of that, she was ridiculously dramatic. If I remember right, I never liked her. Always disliked her, actually. She acted like a spoiled teenager, even though she was clearly in her thirties.
And here's the thing that always felt off—she didn't even look humanoid like most of the other creatures in Ooo—yes know people here looked more humanoid then their counter part in original, they more look human like and actrative specialy the female—ahem, what was i? Oh right. Anyway lampy space princess was defferent she looked like herselve on original show—well she was just… a floating purple cloud with a star on her forehead an crystal star gemstone embedded in her head..egh. Sharp teeth, nasal voice, all of it exactly like the show.
Honestly, she reminded me of those loud mouth whale of people who just can't shut up that type of people that their deciding who can date her bestie and who not. First time she met me and Jake, she was already going full drama queen mode. Loud, dramatic, over-the-top, believe it.
I swear, just being around that lump of floating fat gave me a migraine. Aaaagh...
Anyway, that all happened years ago—back when I first turned seven even though we both still seen her time to time. Let's not dwell on that. What matters right now is finding the person I came here for. And aaaand… there he is.
"Ah, thank you, good sire! For shopping at my store is such a marry-er! I hope I'll see you back!"
Yep. The one and only. The guy I'd been looking for was standing right there, talking in his usual singsong rhymes. A sentient talking goose, dressed in a blue mid-century lute suit with a long green feather on his matching hat. His limbs were weak and wobbly, like rubber. He had a long floppy neck with a red stripe, and those ridiculous long plump orange legs that looked like striped tights.
Choose Goose.
"Hi Choose Goose!"i said greating him while approching his store."Ah! Oh my, what a graceful day to see you here, young hero Finn the human! What could I—amma! Choose Goose!—help you with today? Ask away!" he said, voice goofy as ever, bouncing in rhyme like he always does.
Honestly? Seeing him was a relief when he look exactly like original. Way better than bumping into LSP again.
"Hehe, hi Choose Goose. I just came by to ask you something. Do you have an item—something—that could make the person who wears it… super smart?" I asked with a smile.
"You see, I was hoping to find something that could make me smarter—at least for a short time. I'm not even sure if that's possible," I said, scratching the back of my head.
"Oh-ho! Yes, yes indeed! The thing you seek for the quest you are on… requires the special item known as the Glasses of Nerdicon!" Choose Goose announced, twisting his long neck in that weird way he does. He opened the curtain by pulling a string, and there were the glasses of nerdicon. Displayed on a stone statue depicting the choose goose himself.
"wooow what's that? Glasses? So if I put those on, I'll get the smarts I need? I'll take it! What's the price?" I asked, acting dumb—even though I already knew exactly what he was talking about.
See, the Glasses of Nerdicon are a magical item that appeared in the Adventure Time episode 'The Real You.' In the show, Finn gets them from Choose Goose to become super smart for the Super Science Barbecue—just to impress Princess Bubblegum. Yeah, not really my reason here. And the price? Original Finn had to entertain Choose Goose to get them. Lucky for me, I've already prepared something for that.
Why do I need them, though? Simple. My memory's a mess. That God who tossed me into this world erased everything from my older years. I only remember bits from my early teens and some scraps of adulthood. Nothing from when I was old, not even how I died in my eighties or whatever.
And, truth be told, I wasn't even a hardcore Adventure Time fan back then. I liked it, but I didn't memorize every episode or timeline. Which means remembering how things play out here is a huge hassle. That's when I realized—back when I turned nine—that I'd need those glasses eventually.
From what I know, the glasses give the wearer immense knowledge and intelligence. Basically, they supercharge your brain's capacity, making it run on hyperdrive. In the show, Finn became the "smartest being in the land" for second but it also drove him insane. I just hope my older mental state can handle it without turning me into some raving lunatic.
"Hohoho, yes indeed, Finn the Human! This magic item grants immense knowledge and intelligence to whoever wears it! Wohohoho~!" Choose Goose declared in his goofy, sing-song way. He was kind, cheerful, and a weirdly charismatic salesman. Honestly? A fun character to deal with, compared to half the drama queens I've met.
"Hahaha, I'll take it! So, how much for it?" I asked, reaching into my backpack—not for money, but for my flute. I already knew the price was usually barter like in the show for the glasses, so my plan was to dance and play a tune—probally not dance but play a tune i can do that. I'd practiced some songs from my previous life that i remember—i litsening at my twenties days—i remember sum of course, and with Jake being great at music (violin, viola, basically anything), it wasn't hard for me to learn flute thanks to him teaching.
But then Choose Goose surprised me.
"Oh-hohoho~ no need, Finn the Human! I will give this to you for free, this time. Just say it's for all the good you've done around here—even helping me carry my things a couple of days ago!"That caught me off guard.
"What? Really?" This wasn't how it was supposed to go. In the original story, Finn had to pay by entertaining him. But here? This reality's different. Still Adventure Time, sure—but not the same one from the show.
"Is this because of my reputation?" I wondered. The original Finn was also famous as the Hero of Ooo. Shouldn't I be treated the same way he was? I tilted my head and asked carefully, "Huh… is that so?"
"Hohoho, indeed, my good sire!" Choose Goose said with a sing-song laugh. "You've done many good deeds, and even helped me out. Logically, I must return your kindness with my own gracious gift even for once!" Before I could argue, he reached for a stone statue where the glasses rested. With both feathered hands, he picked them up and handed them to me.
"Here you go, ooooh brave hero!" as
I blinked. The Glasses of Nerdicon. They looked exactly the same as in the show.
"…Thank you, Choose Goose," I said with a warm smile, though something in me didn't sit right. "Still, I can't just take them for free."
Choose Goose chuckled, clapping his feathery hands.
"Hohohoho! Very well, dear hero. If you cannot take this gift without paying the price, then I shall gladly accept whatever you offer to barter instead!"
"How about a tune? If you're fine with that?" I asked, pulling out the flute from my green backpack.
"Hohoho, gracious of course! Imma most delighted to hear what you will play, dear Finn the Human!" Choose Goose twisted his long feathery neck upright, grinning in anticipation.
I pressed the flute to my lips, closed my eyes, and took a deep breath. In my head, I remembered a melody from my previous life—To Love's End from the anime Inuyasha. I'd practiced this piece over and over, and now was the perfect chance to play it.
As I started, my fingers moved across the holes with precision, each note flowing flawlessly. The sound filled the market, soft and haunting, and I let myself drift, losing all sense of the present. My eyes remained shut, every breath pushing life into the tune.
------------------------------------------
The market grew quiet. One by one, shoppers and stall owners stopped what they were doing. Even restless children stilled, as if caught in a trance. The melody poured through the air, wrapping everyone in warmth and calm like a gentle embrace.
Seven minutes passed before Finn finally lowered the flute to catch his breath. What followed was an eruption of applause. Clapping, cheers, whistles—the sound of dozens of voices praising him at once. Finn flinched slightly, not expecting such a Crowd yet the reaction.
A mutant woman wiped her eyes, tossing gold coins at his feet. "Woohoo! That was wonderful! Sniff, sniff!"
"I've never heard such a song," said a giant charcoal-skinned man, his voice rumbling with emotion. "I'm glad I came shopping today."
"Mommy! Mommy, was that song good!?" asked a child from the Jungle Kingdom.
"Indeed, dear. That was beautiful," the mother replied softly.
Finn's cheeks flushed. He was used to attention—being a hero of Ooo meant crowds cheering his name—but this was different. This wasn't for saving lives or fighting monsters. This was just him… playing. And that embarrassed him more than any praise for heroics ever did.
"Wow, hohoho, sniff sniff! Bravo! Bravo!" Choose Goose wiped his eyes with a feathered wing. "That was the most beautiful song I've heard in ages. Hohoho, I could not stop crying, it was so moving! Well done, Finn the Human. The glasses are truly yours!"
Finn smiled, bowing his head slightly as he finally feel ok to accepted the Glasses of Nerdicon,he put it inside his backpacker. "Thanks. It's a pleasure doing business with you, Choose Goose."With that, he stepped away from the stall, still blushing as the crowd cheered behind him.
---
Outside the market square—right where they'd agreed to meet—Jake appeared, arms stretched into ridiculous makeshift limbs, holding bags and baskets stacked sky-high."Hey, Finn! Look what I got, dude!" Jake shouted proudly. "I bought enough food to last us three months!"
Finn smiled at his dog-brother. "That's awesome, man. Should we head home now?" he asked, walking side by side with Jake.
"Absolutely! Buuut…" Jake tilted his head, "did you find anything good in the market while I was shopping?
"Just something. It looked cool, though." Finn reached into his pack and pulled out the Glasses of Nerdicon.
"Check these out, bro—sick glasses, right?"
Jake squinted, unimpressed. "Man, they look like normal glasses to me. What, you trying to look smart so you can impress Princess Bubblegum?" He chuckled, clutching his yellow-furred belly as he laughed. Somehow, none of the towering groceries in his stretched-out arms shifted an inch."Geez! I told you, I don't have a crush on Princess Bubblegum," Finn sighed, shoulders slumping. "Oh, come on, man. Just tell your big brother over here, tell jakie here." Jake teased, stretching his long yellow neck to meet Finn's eyes. "Don't tell me nothing's going on in there, after we always stop by the Candy Kingdom every time."
Jake wasn't entirely wrong. Ever since the two of them had saved the Candy Kingdom five years ago, they'd often returned for groceries and supplies they couldn't find at the market—especially in those early days after moving into the Tree House. But for Finn, the trips weren't about drooling over a crush like the original Finn might've done. Nope. For him, it was something else entirely—academic purpose.
Unlike the original Finn, who often seemed helpless with academics and relied mostly on brute strength and battle instinct, this Finn walked a very different path. The Finn we know from the show could be called street smart—he learned by doing things, practicing, and improvising, rather than sitting down and studying theories.
But this Finn? He carried the mindset of someone from an era of world where education was a top priority. In his previous life, he had learned the hard way that ignorance could make you an easy target for manipulation. And in a place like Ooo, full of powerful beings and tricky creatures roaming around, he wasn't about to be fooled—especially not by Princess Bubblegum. He knew just how dangerous PB could be: brilliant, calculating, and the very first sentient being to create an entire kingdom in Ooo.
That was why he sometimes visited the Candy Kingdom—not for romance no sir no, but for knowledge. Even though fragments of his past life memories lingered, much of it had been erased by the godlike being who had sent him here. What remained were scattered memories of his teenage and young adult years—far from complete. So, he chose to start fresh.
It sucked, sure, but for his own gain to be great Hero as original finn yet better then finn if he needed to, he needed to rebuild his education from the ground up. By age seven, he was already learning at a high school level. His progress caught even Princess Bubblegum's attention. Intrigued by such a rare, intelligent child, she personally took him under her wing.
Finn himself had been shocked—PB teaching him directly? But he didn't flinch. He seized the opportunity to learn from one of the smartest beings in Ooo, even while keeping his guard up around her.
As years passed, Finn's achievements were staggering. By age nine, he had reached the level of a college student and effectively completed his "education." Strangely enough, he didn't fully understand how he managed to absorb so much so quickly. Sometimes, he wondered if this was a another gift left behind by that god—Whatever it was, it saved him—big time.
"Hehehe, yeah right," Jake chuckled as the two of them walked toward their home.
Neither of them noticed—especially Finn—that a horned figure had been watching.
Since the outskirts of the crowd, the shadowy figure had been listening closely to the song, eyes locked on Finn as he slipped away from Choose Goose's store and rejoined Jake. Now, the silhouette trailed behind them, an amused grin stretching across their face.
"Finn the Human? …Interesting."And with that, the figure vanished.
-----------------------------------------------
FINN POV:
Finally, we made it back to the treehouse. It was a long walk, let me tell you—but thank goodness the market isn't that far. Still, it's smack in the some conner part of the Grasslands after all.
I almost wanted to complain about my legs feeling sore after walking so much, but nah—nothing. No pain at all—That's the result of all the training I've been putting myself through. Whenever I'm not out on adventures or studying in the Candy Kingdom back then—im not studies at candy kingdom anymore, I've been exercising, building up stamina and strength and learn how to fight properly. Honestly? My body's starting to feel superhuman. Not quite at the same insane feats the original Finn could pull off, but I'm on the way.
While Jake was busy putting groceries away on the second floor, I sat in our bedroom, staring at the Glasses of Nerdicon on the table in front of me. I took a deep breath. Pheeew… alright, this is the moment, I knew the risks. If I wore them too long, I could lose my sanity—just like the original Finn did. I just had to hope my "old man" mental fortitude from my past life could handle it.
I had a lot of theories about this. Maybe I'd meet the "smart version" of myself—like Senku from Dr. Stone. Or maybe I'd just collapse under the weight of everything.
That's why I had already prepared paper and pencils right beside me. If I started remembering episode timelines from Adventure Time, I'd write them down before I lost myself completely. That way, even if things went sour, there would still be a record.
Sigh… If it weren't for the chance to remember the entire timeline of everything that might happen in Ooo, I wouldn't even consider doing this. But… here we go.
I picked up the glasses and slipped them on.
The effect was instant. A tsunami of knowledge hit me, flooding into my brain like the world's fastest internet—100 gigabytes per second, no, a terabyte! At first, I thought I was fine, then—BAM. It was like a brutal punch to the head.
So many things I didn't know or understand came crashing in, stacking, layering, organizing themselves inside my mind. My pupils dilated, my brain lit up—I swear, it felt like centuries or even millennia of information was crammed into me in just twenty seconds.
"W-wow… hahaha… I remember! I remember all of it!" I laughed like a maniac, my voice shaking with excitement. "That felt smooth—like farting and peeing at the same time!"
Second floor, Jake didn't hear a thing, too busy unpacking groceries while BMO played some cheerful tune. I smirked, grabbing my paper and pencil. My hands trembled, but my grin was wide.
"Time to work."
---
A few minutes later, I came to my sense. My head felt like it had been split in two—like my brain was about to explode.
"Ugh… aaaagh…" I groaned, clutching my temples. So, the Glasses of Nerdicon had side effects, huh? Figures.
"How long was I out?" I muttered, glancing at the wall clock in mine and Jake's room. Fourteen minutes. Not bad.
I sat up, inspecting myself. I felt… normal. All that knowledge I had while wearing the glasses was gone. Mostly. Some scraps still clung to my mind. As my eyes drifted to the scattered papers on my bed, I quickly reached for them. If I'd written everything down while Wearing glasses of nerdicon when Im still had my mind wear it, maybe I still had it all. Maybe even the full Adventure Time timeline—every episode from every season i didn't much remember.
"Huh?"
I lifted one page closer, and my stomach dropped. The handwriting was mine, but the words… they weren't just notes. It was like I'd written to myself.
"Hey there, me. If you're reading this, it means you woke up after blacking out from the Nerdicon glasses. Feel weird, huh doesn't it? Talking to yourself through paper? Well, forget that for now—I've got something important to tell you...."
I froze, eyes darting across the page.
"Look as you—we—know, trying to remember every single episode of Adventure Time from seasons 1 through 10 would be a nightmare a pain in the ass—way too much hassle. So here the deal, let me..i am the smarter version of you, guide you instead. Don't freak out! I'm not the "evil" version of you. I'm on your side—I know, I know—you don't trust me yet. But this is for our benefit. To become a great hero, just like Finn. Trust me, As we know being Finn's replacement or we could said alternative version of original one in this world is no joke. So i've got solutions for the problems we'll face soon enough. And trust me again… things are going to get pretty messed up later as we probably know. For example: when you turn eleven, you'll have to fight off a whole swarm of candy zombies. Just like Finn did in episode one. And that's not even the worst of it. The real trouble hits in the third month of next year."
I stared at the paper, disbelief mixing with a creeping smirk tugging at my lips.
"As we both know, the Land of Ooo is dangerous. No—not just Ooo. This whole universe is dangerous.Unlike the original Finn, you've actually got a head start. Sure, you've saved people for the past five years. But you're still just a kid, man. Don't worry though—we're already better prepared lthan the original Finn like i said earlier. He might've been clever in a street-fighter way, but most of the time he jumped into battles without a plan, just hoping for the best. You've seen the show he brave? Sure, smart? Not always. You've seen how reckless he was, and don't confuse me with that evil, insane smart version of original Finn. That's not me. I'm you,Just… sharper, that why instend bother to write all episodes each Ten sessons i'll help you to make sure you don't end up like him—so you don't need to be worry man..."
As I kept flipping to the third page of the papers I wrote while wearing the Glasses of Nerdicon, I couldn't stop my face from twisting up into a weird grin.
"So here's a couple things you need to do. Earlier I already set some stuff up for you, and if you're reading this and actually trust me little bit now—then yeah, I bet you're smiling like a madman, like Lloyd or something, right? Good. That means you're in.
First thing—leave a notebook for me. Every time you use the Glasses of Nerdicon, write down what you're doing and so i could help you to do what next so. These scraps of paper won't cut it forever as our way of talking. A notebook's better, trust me.
Now, couple things you gotta focus on. Number one—training. Strength, guts, instinct. I know you've been training a lot, even fighting foes twice your size, but it's not enough. Remember, Finn reached superhuman levels. You gotta get there too—or higher—or else the evil people and monsters in Ooo are gonna kick our asses. Don't worry, I already wrote down who should train you on page five.
Second—knowledge. You've been studying with PB, right? Good. But there's something bigger. Find the Enchiridion. It's basically a handbook, a damn manual for heroes. Original Finn never used it—that was a dumb move on his part. You won't make that mistake. On page five, I drew a map to where it's hidden. Study it. Squeeze every bit of info out of it.
Last—your weapon. Yeah, the Scarlet Sword ( Gold Sword are fine), but we need better. You already know what weapon I'm talking about—from three of those thing I suggest getting the book first before all. Get it. And if you really trust me, then leave the notebook ready and put on the Glasses again. Till next time, me."
As finished read the third papers and four i look at the fifth one my smart me gave—of course i couldn't help smile like maniac.

OMAKE
:HUMAN IQ?!
This happened four years ago, when Finn had just turned seven. Back then, he would wander outside the Candy Kingdom inn and out freenly with Jake every time they come by for shopping some items in their early days at their newly home, going on little adventures with his brother. At that time, most people in Ooo didn't know Finn and Jake yet. The only stories still floating around were news about heroes who saved the Candy Kingdom years before.
For now, only the Candy Kingdom really knew about Finn and Jake—after all, the brothers had saved them and earned a huge debt of gratitude. Even Princess Bubblegum herself admitted it.
One day, seven-year-old Finn sat inside a classroom. He wasn't officially enrolled, but the candy people—who looked more or less humanoid—didn't mind letting him join. The teacher welcomed him in, and Finn had been studying there for six months. To everyone's shock, he'd already shown achievements way beyond the average academic level in the Candy Kingdom.
Here's the funny thing: Candy citizens were often seen as silly, cowardly, or downright clueless. Yet their education system was surprisingly advanced. Even Finn, who'd just started learning there, was blown away. How could such great education exist when most of the citizens weren't exactly… the brightest?
That realization hit Finn hard. Many candy people had the mental maturity of 12–15 year-olds. Rarely, someone might reach the mental age of 21, like Root Beer Guy. And worse, most of the books here were barely touched. That, Finn realized, was probably one of the biggest reasons behind it.
After months of study, the word of Finn the human that once saving her kingdom's eventually reached Princess Bubblegum: Finn had been learning and receiving an education inside her kingdom. Curious about humans—and eager to see for herself—she decided to visit the school.
Peering through the glass window, she spotted Finn. To her surprise, he was the only student in the room. Not because others refused to study with him—quite the opposite. Finn had already earned the respect of the candy people.
The truth was, that class was meant for advanced learners, far beyond what most of her citizens could achieve.
"Is this… human intelligence?" she murmured to herself. "If I'm not mistaken, a child his age shouldn't even be capable of sitting in an advanced class like this. Even ninety percent of my people couldn't keep up here…"
Days turned into weeks, weeks into months. Princess Bubblegum kept a close eye on Finn, secretly observing him from the window or recording her notes. She filled journal after journal—seventeen in total—studying his behavior, his learning process, his way of thinking. For her, it was a goldmine. A chance to study a species as rare as human that extinct.
Every night, she reread her findings. Each time, she was amazed all over again at Finn's ability to learn, adapt, and grow at a frightening speed. Sometimes, her fascination twisted into something else—her smile growing wide, her expression slipping into something almost manic—before she forced herself back into composure.
And then, one day, she'd had enough of simply observing. She wanted to confront him directly.
Princess Bubblegum stormed into the advanced classroom, startling both Finn and the candy teacher.
"O–oh! Princess Bubblegum!" the teacher gasped, bowing their head.
PB's lips curled into a sharp, unsettling smile, the kind she rarely showed in public—like she'd just uncovered something precious. But just as quickly, she smoothed her expression, returning to the soft, elegant demeanor everyone expected from her.
"A-ahem… ahem. I'm sorry for the disturbance I caused, Mrs. Cherry Blossom Cake—but may I have a word with Finn?" Princess Bubblegum asked in her elegant, measured tone. Her voice carried the grace of royalty, masking the faint glimpse of madness she had shown just moments before.
"Y-yes, Your Highness." Mrs. Cherry Blossom Cake bowed, excusing herself from the classroom and leaving Finn alone.
Finn, calm as always, looked at the princess without a hint of confusion, his expression as steady and innocent as ever.
"Greetings, Finn. It's been a while, hasn't it?" Bubblegum said, trying to hide her excitement.
"Yes, it has been some time now, Princess Bubblegum," the seven-year-old replied, his calm, almost mature demeanor only fueling her fascination.
Her eyes sparkled. He's only a child… yet he acts as though he's already grown. Incredible. It thrilled her even more, especially knowing the truth—she had been secretly observing Finn and Jake ever since the day they saved her kingdom and stumbled into Marceline's tree house. With Peppermint Butler's help, she had kept track of their every move before she start studies finn academic behavior right now. And now, after months of studying Finn's progress in the classroom, she couldn't contain herself any longer.
"I've seen you, Finn—you've been studying in my kingdom and achieving such remarkable feats! That was something that intrested me." Bubblegum said, trying to maintain her regal composure.
"Ah… I'm sorry, Princess Bubblegum. I didn't mean to study in your kingdom without your knowledge," Finn said with innocent guilt, lowering his head.
"No, no, no—please raise your head. I'm not mad!" Bubblegum said quickly, her smile twitching a little too wide before she forced it back into a softer, elegant expression.
As Finn raised his head, Princess Bubblegum knelt down so her eyes met his. Her smile softened, almost like that of an older sister—though beneath it, her excitement simmered dangerously close to the surface.
(Author:..ayyooo..)
"See, Finn… I've been watching you these past months as you studied. And you've fascinated me. You're very smart for a child your age," she said warmly. Then, tilting her head, she added, "So, I have a proposal. How about you study under me directly? You've already learned so much here… so why not let me guide you myself? Doesn't that sound interesting?"
Finn rested his tiny hand against his cheek, pondering with the seriousness of someone far older than seven. Finally, he gave her a bright, innocent smile.
"Sounds great, Princess Bubblegum."
That smile—it was enough to melt anyone's heart. Even Bubblegum's. But in her case, the joy went far deeper. Inside, she was practically screaming with delight. A student! My student! My precious little human pupil!
"Hiiiiiiiiiiiik!" The squeal almost slipped out before she bit it back, forcing her expression into composed elegance again, though her eyes still gleamed with a strange, feverish happiness.
