Chapter 51: The Council's Eyes
It wasn't long enough until the king decided to find out about Nadeira's real goals.
She was mischievous and weird, but that's what he liked about her the most.
However, the king wasn't soft enough to overlook a dangerous attack that could've caused someone's life…even if that someone was the Duke he didn't like very much.
Ricardo was arrogant, a distant relative but annoying one.
So after some time, Nadeira was dragged from the dungeon by force, of course. To piss the guards off, she purposely clicked the chains to make that annoying sound ring in their ears.
She had an idea that she was going to die, and last night's crying didn't help either. No matter how much she tried to break free, and almost broke her shoulder by the strength she was using to break through the bars-it didn't work.
So now, Nadeira was on her way to execution…her own, execution.
