Chapter 22 - Chapter 22 I'm In A Bad Mood

A cold forehead.

Su Qing's face flushed faintly.

She lowered her head, standing silently in the office.

"Fill out these forms."

"Also, pack your luggage and leave on Sunday morning."

Li Ran, the classroom teacher, went through the instructions one by one.

She unscrewed her thermos, took a sip, and looked at the girl's flushed face.

"Su Qing, did you hear that?"

"You had fever? You must rest and drink plenty of hot water."

Exams were approaching, and as a teacher, Li Ran naturally hoped her students would do well.

However, seeing Su Qing's nervous expression, she couldn't help but feel a touch of concern.

"Relax, don't be nervous."

"Okay, I understand, teacher."

Su Qing's face warmed as she took the form from the table and prepared to fill it out.

"Where's Jiang Sui? Didn't I ask you both to come along?"

Li Ran looked at Su Qing.

Su Qing's hand paused as she filled in the form.

"He, he said he needed to go to the restroom, so I came over first."

Li Ran nodded, but didn't ask any more questions.

Su Qing's fingers, tingling from pinching herself, were now turning white, and her mind was consumed by everything that had just happened.

"I can't just do whatever I want?"

"Hmm?"

The faint, seductive ending to his words made her forehead feel like it was burning, a fiery, scorching sensation.

"You go ahead. I'll go to the teacher's office later."

As if sensing the girl's discomfort, Jiang Sui didn't do anything else, simply placing a light kiss on her forehead before releasing Su Qing.

She could clearly see the boy's rolling throat, his deep pupils swirling like a vortex, inviting her deeper. "

Also, there's nothing between Xu Miaoran and me. It's not what you think."

"You know what I'm thinking and what I want. Right, my dear girl?"

Everything came vividly to mind.

Su Qing suppressed all the emotions within her, bit by bit.

Feeling like she was being stabbed in the back, she fled in panic.

However, when she opened her eyes wide and saw that the space for her name had been filled with...

"Jiang Sui"

It wasn't a pencil, but a ballpoint pen.

Unable to erase, those two words glared into her eyes.

"Can I switch with you?"

She didn't know when someone had appeared beside her.

It was none other than Jiang Sui, his eyes sparkling, his lips tinged with a distinct crimson, a truly enchanting color.

Su Qing couldn't help but tug at her sleeve, trying to cover the name on the form.

When did he show up? She'd been so distracted she hadn't noticed.

How embarrassing...

The boy seemed unfazed. He pulled out a chair and sat down next to her. He simply picked up a pen and wrote a name on his own form, the name column.

That was Su Qing.

He then handed it to her. The boy's handwriting was unruly, just like him.

"Then please, Su, switch with me. I made a mistake, and you saw it."

Jiang Sui's lips curled up slightly in a smile. His fingertips were slender, and his wrists were white.

Su Qing rarely looked at someone like that, but she felt he seemed even whiter than the girls.

His long legs were casually curled up as he turned to look at her.

There was a red mark on his chin, as if it had been scratched by a cat.

The boy didn't seem angry at all, just staring at her intently.

"Hiss, why haven't you calmed down yet?"

Su Qing couldn't hide or not hide at this moment.

She glanced around furtively.

Unbeknownst to her, they were now the only two people left in the huge office.

"Jiang Sui"

"What's wrong?"

"Don't too over."

"Didn't you say I can do whatever I want?"

Su Qing's voice was low, and she let out a shallow breath.

"Jiang Sui, you're bullying me."

The girl's eyes were soft and her eyelashes trembled slightly.

She seemed to know where her advantage lay.

As if frightened, Jiang Sui restrained himself a little and pointed at the mark on his chin.

"Who's bullying who?"

"Huh?"

"That's because of you," the girl's eyes accused.

"What?"

The moment the boy raised an eyebrow at her, the tension was so intense that Su Qing's heart felt like a boat, tossed about by the waves.

"Jiang Sui, let's fill out the forms first, okay?"

As if showing weakness, Su Qing's heart was surging. She had a feeling that something was amiss between them...

Jiang Sui withdrew his gaze and took the form from her. He didn't say anything else, as if he was filling it out diligently.

Time seemed both long and fleeting.

After completing the forms, Jiang Sui conveniently placed hers and his own together.

"Teacher Li went out and said to just leave it here after filling it out."

"Okay."

Then, both of them left, one after the other.

For a moment, Su Qing felt like running away, but the boy seemed to know what she was thinking.

"Shall we have dinner together?"

The girl shook her head.

"Then we'll study together."

The girl shook her head.

"I'll take you home tonight."

...

Su Qing, biting her lip, returned to the classroom in a state of disarray.

"Su Qing, why are you so red?"

Zhang Yihan, her friendly deskmate, reached out to touch Su Qing's forehead.

Su Qing quickly dodged the gesture, and the boy's face flickered with embarrassment for a moment.

"Su Qing, would you like some water? I'll go get you some."

"No, thank you." Su Qing's eyes held a faint refusal, but for some reason, she subconsciously turned to look at Jiang Sui...

Such a thought.

It was terrifying.

Su Qing sat stiffly, her fingers clenched as she flipped open the textbook.

Her seat was three rows away from Jiang Sui's, neither too close nor too far. Jiang Sui took in everything that had happened, his eyes darkening considerably.

"Brother Sui, isn't Xu Miaoran still with you? Why did she call me? I gave her your number."

Hu Yifan looked at his phone, which kept beeping with text messages. They were all from the same person.

[Jiang Sui, where's he? I didn't see him after class.]

[What's Jiang Sui doing?]

99+...

This is really annoying.

He's starting to wonder why Brother Sui would like this girl.

"Don't talk nonsense! Don't give my number."

"Ah!"

"Aren't you dating Xu Miaoran?"

"You want to die? Don't understand what I said?"

Jiang Sui glanced at Hu Yifan calmly, and Hu Yifan calmed down considerably.

"Bring me another bag of those oranges from last time."

Thinking of something, Jiang Sui narrowed his eyes, his mood shifting.

"Sure, Brother Sui. Are those oranges extra sweet?"

"I don't know."

"Huh?"

"What nonsense."

Then he stood up and went to Su Qing's seat.

"Su Qing, I'm in a bad mood."

"Huh?"
