Chapter 4 - Chapter 2: About Divinities.

About 200 million mortal years have passed.

Hanten is getting lonely, wishing he could have connections like the mortals have, but he doesn't know what he's feeling.

He has no knowledge of his emotions.

This is because he has been alone all his life, except for the first 30 divine years of it.

No, the first year of it before the four creator gods left him.

He's unaware of this, but it hurt them.

But they had to leave.

They couldn't help him anymore.

Staying would only harm him, as he started to see them as his 4 parents.

2 mothers, 2 fathers.

They had to, for his own good.

They left him to figure everything out on his own, which is the best thing they could've done for him.

Due to his loneliness, and his desire for companionship, despite not knowing this is the reason, he created more divinities.

11 of them.

Beatha, Eldur, Vai, Alivu, Ko, Krijim, Bletz, Jikan, Veritas, Asama and Fursina.

After the creation of these divinities, he all gave them a power to control.

Beatha became the first goddess of life, Eldur became the first god of fire, Vai became the first goddess of water, Alivu became the first goddess of destruction, Ko became the first god matter, Krijim became the first god of creation, Bletz became the first goddess of lightning, Jikan became the first god of time, Veritas became the first god of reality, Asama became the first goddess of the hells and Fursina became the first goddess of the heavens.

All of them became friends, except for Beatha and Hanten, who were more than that.

They didn't know it at the time, due to their emotional unawareness, but they were in love with eachother.

Hanten, who wanted knowledge on what he was feeling, went down to a well-developed planet and he disguised himself as a mortal.

He questioned the mortals, and slowly but surely he learned.

Emotions are complex things, but he understands how to identify them, and he took that ability and gave it to every divinity.

This awareness caused both Beatha and Hanten to realize their true feelings for eachother, but they weren't sure about it due to their inexperience.

They took it slow, but they developed a connection, became lovers, and eventually had a son.

Kurema Anara, the first natural-born divinity.

Divinities and mortals give birth differently.

Its a lot more dangerous for divinities.

The sperm of a divinity is a seed for a divine soul, but also a shell, meaning that during pregnancy, the mother will create a shell in the shape of a body and a divine soul.

If the mother is a divinity, to birth that divine soul, she'll have to punch a hole into her stomach, grab her child and rip its soul out.

That process causes it to instinctively create a physical manifestation around itself that looks identical to the shell/body the mother made in her belly.

However, there's a 90% high chance that she'll also rip out some of her organs in the process.

A divine soul takes 5 months to make, and thats when its ready to be ripped out, or if the mother is a mortal, birthed.

The reason a divine baby has to enter a physical manifestation at birth is because the divine soul of a baby will freeze to death due to the inside of the mother's womb being the same temperature as the mortal hell if she's pregnant with a divinity, which is required to keep a baby divine soul stable enough for it to survive until it can create a manifestation around itself.

However, if a mortal gives birth to a divine soul, that divine soul will get into the shell that the mother made and when the baby is completely out of its mother, then the baby will exit that shell and make a physical manifestation around itself.

(Author here: Mortals give birth the same way humans do. More on this in the epilogue.)

There are more differences between the bodies of divinities and mortals.

Divinities don't have bones.

Even ascended divinities in their physical manifestations don't have bones.

This is because a divinity needs the most flexibility they can have.

However, their muscles can tighten up to the point they're rock-solid, and if those muscles get snapped this is also considered a "bone" being broken.

Divine women, unlike mortals, also don't have menstruation.

This is because a divine womans physical manifestation does not need to prepare for a potential pregnancy due to how different the process of birthing is in comparison to a mortal.

The growth process for a divinity is vastly different from a mortal.

Whilst a mortal keeps growing and changing until they die, a divinity's soul and physical manifestation stops aging at 30 if they're birthed divinities, and they'll remain the same until the day they either get killed, or commit suicide.

But if a mortal ascends into a divinity, their body either de-ages or ages until they're 25 years old physically, and then they die, and their soul creates a physical manifestation identical to their 25 year old self, and their physical manifestation and soul stay that way until the day they either get killed or commit suicide.

After death, a divine soul takes the appearance of the age of either their prime self or what their prime self would've been like, whilst a mortal soul takes the appearance of the age they died at, unless they died as a baby and they'll take the appearance of their adult self, adult being 16 years old, which is the age a mortal is fully grown up both mentally and physically.

To summarize the differences:

Divinities and mortals have different birth processes.

Mortals continue to age but divinities physically stop aging at 30 if they're born a divinity, but if they're an ascended divinity they stop physically aging at 25.

Mortals have bones, divinities do not.

Unlike mortals, divinities do not have menstrual cycles.
