Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Koharu walked through the elegant halls of her black and golden castle, stroking her fingertips along the walls. "Beautiful. It feels good to be me."

A servant was busy cleaning the floors, and Koharu kicked him out of the way, before plunging her heel into his chest. "Move, peasant."

As she stepped over the body, she walked down the hall until she reached a door leading to a balcony, stepping out into the outside world, where she looked over her empire: a large metropolis as far as the eye could see, with buildings and massive towers everywhere, and a gray sky. "Xdrall. Looks the same as usual."

She noticed a red ship flying just below the cloud, and she placed a hand on her hip. "Hmm. Ontekku must have some nerve if he thinks he can fly a ship to my planet and point that gun at my castle."

The front of the ship had a large gun, and if fired a large missile at the castle, but suddenly, time seemed to slow, and with a flash of golden light, she stopped the missile dead in its tracks. "Incompetent."

With a dismissive flick of her hand, she fired it back at the ship, knocking one of its wings off and causing it to crash and cause a massive explosion. Her advisor, Touma, ran up to her. "My Queen! Do you know how many lives you just took doing that?"

She turned on her heel, walking back inside. "I don't care. Send a legion of soldiers to make sure Ontekku and everyone in that ship is dead."

Touma got on his knees and bowed, and before she walked inside, she painfully stabbed her heel into his back. "And don't ever question me again, mortal."

"Of course not, My Queen!"

As Koharu walked back inside, she grumbled to herself. "Now to find my useless daughters. Where the hell are those hell-spawn?"

Meanwhile...

Regal looked outside his window to find a downed ship. "Come on, another war? The last one just finished a week ago!"

"You guys go to war often?" Yuu questioned.

"Yeah," Regal explained. "When you have total control of the multiverse, you usually have some people who rebel against you. I don't usually participate. My family sees me as weak."

"At least you don't have to fight," Yuu pointed out.

"True," Regal admitted. "My family will just handle this anyway. Wanna watch?"

Yuu shrugged. "It's better than mopping these floors."

"Alright!" Regal announced. "To the balcony!"

He opened his door and raced down the hall, leaving Yuu struggling to follow. By the time Yuu caught up, they were on the second-floor balcony, watching as armies of red-clad warriors emerged from the ship, swords and rifles in their hands.

"Who are those guys?" Yuu asked.

"They work for this guy named Ontekku," Regal answered. "Apparently he really wants my mom and my dad dead."

Remedy emerged from the entrance of the castle, and Regal nudged Yuu. "Remedy is on the case. Those guys are screwed."

As the front row of soldiers pointed their guns at her, Remedy gave them a dismissive glare. "You picked the wrong day to attack. Die, scum."

She stomped her foot into the ground, freezing half of the soldiers in rock-solid ice before they crumbled into pieces. Another girl emerged next to Remedy, wearing similar attire but with longer hair.

"Again? Do they not die and stay dead?" she commented.

"Who's that?" Yuu asked.

"Royal," Regal stated. "It's about to get ugly."

Remedy extended her hand to her sister. "Hurry this up, Royal. I don't want to be out here all day."

"Don't act like I do," she scoffed. "Now hold still!"

Royal grabbed her hand, and her appearance suddenly shifted to match Remedy's. They both stomped the ground at the same time, creating a double wave of ice that took out the rest of the attackers.

"Whoa! What did she just do?" Yuu exclaimed.

"It's kinda hard to explain. Basically, she can shapeshift."

Regal noticed something to his left, and he saw another girl being cornered by soldiers. The girl had a more closed-off appearance, hair covering her face. "When did Ronova get here?"

The soldiers pointed their weapons at her, but she simply shifted her hair to one side, revealing a bloody red eye. Immediately, the soldiers all fell to the ground, and once they did, she grabbed a gun from one of them and shot them all dead.

"Creepy!" Yuu remarked.

"Yeah, don't look at her left eye," Regal instructed. "You won't be able to move."

Yuu pointed to another girl with ponytails in her hair, who appeared to be wandering aimlessly. "What about her? She looks harmless!"

Regal laughed. "That's just Rheya! The family idiot!"

Rheya bumped into a squad of soldiers, one of whom grabbed her by the arm. "Hey, who are you? What are you doing?"

"Don't play dumb, girl," a soldier growled. "It's time to die."

Rheya tapped her chin, confused. "But why? What's happening? How did I get here?"

"Doesn't matter! Kill her!"

Rheya shrugged. "Okay! I guess I'll have to kill you and get the answers!"

With a kick, she sent the soldier grabbing her flying high into the sky, before he landed with a thud. The others backed away, but with a clap of her hands, she knocked them all back.

"She's strong!" Yuu realized.

"Absurdly," Regal confirmed. "It's why Mom keeps her around. Hey, there's Rhinedottir and Revenue!"

Rhinedottir was glaring at the soldiers running towards her, while the girl with the curly hair, wearing a black dress over her purple coat, tapped away on her phone.

"Put that down, Revenue," Rhinedottir ordered. "We need to deliver punishment to these criminals."

Revenue took a few selfies. "Hold on! I've got to take a few selfies first! My followers ADORE me."

Rhinedottir rolled her eyes and held out her hand. Most of the warriors began to glow golden, and Rhinedottir closed her fist. "Judgement!"

All of a sudden, they randomly lost a limb. Some lost both their legs, some lost an arm, and a few lost their heads and died. One even had his limbs swap positions. As they fell to the ground, Rhinedottir stood on top of the bodies. "Punishment served."

Revenue hopped on as well, taking pictures. "Yes! Totally gonna boost my follower count!"

A man behind her attempted to stab her, but she side-stepped without looking and touched him. Suddenly, his gun appeared in her hand, and she pointed it at his head. "Say goodnight, bitch."

She pulled the trigger and shot him in the head, before posting to her blog. "Totally carried this battle! Like and subscribe!"

Rhinedottir shook her head and walked away.

"They don't get along so well, huh," Yuu commented.

"Honestly, it's a surprise they can even tolerate each other," Regal replied. "They're so different. Those two are the ones you don't wanna encounter, though."

He motioned toward the opposite side of the castle, where a little girl and a girl with an "emo" look were busy riding on a motorcycle, which fired guns from the front, mowing down opponents by opponents.

"Radiance and Ravena," Regal stated. "The youngest."

Ravena ran over a downed soldier before raising her hand. "Return."

The soldier she killed suddenly revived, standing like a zombie. Ravena pointed to an enemy soldier. "Kill him. Don't linger."

Radiance clapped her hands. "Ooh! I wanna try!"

A group of soldiers aimed guns at the girls, and Radiance pointed her finger at them. "Don't shoot us, shoot yourselves! Hehe!"

They froze immediately before complying, dropping to the ground like flies. Radiance giggled. "I love being me!"

"Watch this bike while I collect their corpses," Ravena ordered.

"Yeah, they're weird," Yuu acknowledged.

"Yep," Regal agreed. "But they can handle themselves in a fight, so at least the outsiders won't kill us!"

The ship began to shake, and everyone stopped what they were doing as a man clad in red armor from head to toe stepped out, a massive sword in his hands.

"Ontekku," Regal recognized. "It's about to get real."

Ontekku slammed his sword down, causing the entire castle to shake and knocking the sisters off their feet. "Cowards! I'll slay you evil demons one by one, finishing off with your god!"

Koharu walked outside the castle.

"Mother," Regal noted.

She stood in front of Ontekku, who leveled his blade at her. "You. You're the cause of all this. An evil, heartless, demon of a woman who only cares about herself and her power."

"So?" she taunted. "You've come here, attempting to do something about it? I've been in power for thirty years, Ontekku. That will never change."

"We'll see," he spat.

He charged at her with his blade, but she easily held up her hand, stopping time before kicking her heel deep into his knee, drawing blood. As time unfroze, he fell, using his blade to support himself.

"Cheap tricks..." he groaned.

She kicked him in the face, dropping him to the ground. He swung his sword at her legs, but she effortlessly evaded, stopping time and kicking the blade out of his hands. As she unfroze time, he rolled out of the way before she could bring her heel down on him.

He charged her, tackling her to the ground, but as he did, she snapped her fingers, and time seemed to reverse. Once it stopped, they were standing again.

"You almost got my dress dirty," she announced. "You will die."

Ontekku went for her legs, but she delivered a powerful kick to his jaw, knocking him to the ground. He attempted to crawl away, but she stopped time and stomped hard into his back, breaking his spine. Once she unfroze, she tilted his body over with her foot, placing her heel on his neck.

"You...will be stopped...one day," he warned.

"No, I won't," she assured.

With a twist of her foot, she snapped his neck, triumphantly placing her heel on his forehead. "I always win."

Soon after, her daughters were gathered around her, bowing, and she stood in front of them. "You all are useless. Making me come outside myself. I swear, I will kill you all!"

She kicked them all in the face with one swing before walking past. "Now I must go wake your father up for dinner. Hurry up, maggots!"

"Yes, Mother..." they replied.

"Someone grab that worm too," she ordered. "Otokami says he must be at dinner."

"That means me," Regal said. "I gotta go, Yuu."

Hours later...

The family was gathered around a large golden dining table, while cooks desperately worked to prepare the food. Otokami was at the head, along with Koharu. The children were all on either side of the table, while Regal was on the floor, his mother and sisters resting their feet on him.

"Damn," Regal thought. "Can't I sit at the table this one time? Well, at least Dad still doesn't seem to be too pleased with this."

He winced as Revenue dug her heel deeper into his flesh.

"Mom!" she complained. "Can we hurry this up? I'm hungry!"

"Hush, girl," Koharu ordered. "I don't care."

Revenue pouted and sulked in her seat. As the food finished cooking, Koharu began massaging Otokami's shoulders, kissing his helmet. "We won, dear. Are you happy?"

"Great work..." he stated.

All the girls immediately shifted their attention to him.

"Daddy, daddy!" Radiance jumped up. "I killed a lot! Are you proud of me?"

"That's incorrect," Ravena clarified. "I executed more than you. So I should brag."

She dug out a trinket from her pocket. "Please, Father, if you could just try this one time, it'll significantly brighten my day—-!"

Revenue cleared her throat. "He doesn't want useless trinkets! He wants a star! Such as myself! Dad, can you please come to this movie shoot with me? It'll give me so much confidence—-!"

"Don't dull our father with your useless activities," Rhinedottir scoffed. "Father, could you accompany me instead? I'm not as misguided as these fools are."

"Can I follow you around, Dad?" Rheya asked. "My head feels clearer when you're around!"

"He'll pick whoever he wants," Ronova stated, unmoving. "And I'll kill all of you to make sure it's me."

"You wish," Royal dismissed. "I love him the most."

"Lies!" the other girls argued.

Remedy slammed her hand on the table. "Enough! I'm the heir! So before you all become grandiose and deluded, know that I will be the only one in close proximity with our father!"

"Yep," Regal thought. "Still obsessed."

Koharu held her husband's hand in hers. "They are bantering amongst themselves again, love. Shall I deal with them?"

Otokami opened his eyes, and everyone immediately quieted down, visibly nervous.

"I'm sorry, Father," Remedy apologized. "I shouldn't have done that."

"Please don't be upset," Royal pleaded.

"I won't make threats like that again," Ronova assured. "I swear."

"Did I do something wrong?" Rheya asked. "Is it because of me?"

"Father?" Rhinedottir questioned. "Please don't judge me harshly, I didn't mean to anger you."

"Daddy! Would you be mad at sweet little me?" Revenue stated, trying to look innocent.

His eyes glinted and she immediately turned red. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"

"I sincerely apologize for my actions," Ravena said.

Radiance broke into tears. "Please don't hurt me! I've always done whatever you wanted!"

Koharu cautiously removed her hands. "Dear, are you okay?"

Otokami stood up, making everyone even more nervous. "Get Regal from under the table, now."

"Dear?" Koharu wondered, but she stopped when he turned towards her.

"We are going on a family trip."
