Ulu looked at her two disciples with deep emotion.
"I told you before if you travel west, you'll find that powerful wizards are as numerous as mountains. Don't let yourselves be confined by the scenery in front of you. I want you both to see a wider world."
Her gaze shifted to the battle raging in the distance.
"Look at Noah. He's your age, and yet already this strong. Can you imagine how terrifying his strength will be in just two more years?"
She paused, her voice lowering in awe.
"Right now, in terms of raw magic power and intensity, Noah has already surpassed me. And his physical body… what kind of monster can trade fists with Deliora itself? Even with magic reinforcing him, the sheer strength of his physique is beyond belief."
She let out a sigh.
"After this battle, I'll take you two traveling. Seeing the greater world will be vital for your growth."
Leo's heart wavered. Once, he had thought Ulu was the strongest person alive. But the sight before him shattered that belief. Noah's every attack filled the air with explosions, shockwaves, and light the kind of scenes that left Leo shaken to his core.
And the most unbelievable part?
They were the same age. He was still struggling to form ice constructs barely a few meters tall… yet Noah had just kicked Deliora a beast dozens of meters high straight through the air. The gap between them was immeasurable.
Behind Ulu, little Ultear tugged at her mother's sleeve and asked timidly,
"Mom, are there really a lot of kids as amazing as Noah?"
Ulu shook her head.
"No. Not many. Children like him are very rare. But think about it this way… if a boy this powerful exists, what does that say about the adults who raised him? Just imagine how incredible they must be."
Ultear nodded thoughtfully, her wide eyes shining with curiosity.
Out on the battlefield, Noah and Deliora lunged at each other again, fists colliding in a thunderous crash that shook the earth. The impact hurled both of them backwards Noah skidding across the ground, his heels carving deep trenches into the earth, while Deliora staggered several paces before steadying itself.
The demon's throat glowed ominously. In the next instant, a searing beam of light erupted from its mouth, roaring straight toward Noah.
Noah bent his knees and leapt aside. The beam slammed into the ground, cutting a fiery scar across the land as it arced upward into the distance. A wall of flames surged in its wake, the air warping with heat.
Teleporting instantly, Noah appeared under Deliora's chin, golden magic flaring around his leg. Energy condensed at his heel, light propelling his strike.
"Lightspeed Kick!"
His foot snapped upward, smashing Deliora's jaw and sending the beast reeling skyward. Without hesitation, Noah teleported again, materializing at its flank in midair.
Another kick crashed into its ribs.
"Boom!"
Deliora plummeted, the impact carving a crater into the earth. Smoke and dust billowed out, swallowing its massive form.
Before the dust could settle, a sudden flash pierced through it a beam of light lancing upward toward Noah. He teleported away, dodging at the last instant, then crossed his hands before his chest. Two glowing circles flared to life.
"Yasakani no Magatama!"
From the circles, a torrent of shining orbs rained down like a storm.
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"
Explosions tore apart the smoke below, scattering rocks and debris. One massive boulder was blasted into the air, hurtling toward Noah, only to be shattered mid-flight by another light bullet.
But even as the rock disintegrated, another beam of light tore upward from the crater. Noah teleported again, forced to cut short his assault.
Landing lightly on the ground, he narrowed his eyes.
The smoke finally cleared.
Deliora's hulking frame emerged, drenched in blood, its wounds struggling to knit together. For the first time, Noah noticed a difference the demon's once lightning-fast regeneration had slowed.
Noah grinned faintly, golden light still flickering around his body.
"So it's true. Your so-called immortality is nothing but a façade. Once your recovery falters, you're just a beast waiting to be culled."
Deliora's single eye trembled as its massive frame shifted backward. The ground cracked beneath its retreating step, sending tremors across the valley. The once-fearsome demon that terrorized nations now looked… hesitant.
"That's right. Run if you want," Noah said calmly, straightening his back. "But no matter where you go, I'll drag you down."
He raised his hand again. Golden arcs of light surged out like thunder, scattering across the battlefield and sealing the valley with a lattice of radiant energy.
"Did you think I'd let prey escape after chasing it this far?"
Deliora let out an enraged howl, its pride stung by the human's taunt. With blood still dripping from its wounds, it threw its arms wide and unleashed another blinding torrent of demonic light. The blast tore through trees and shattered boulders as if trying to erase Noah's existence entirely.
But Noah didn't flinch. His figure vanished in a flash, reappearing right above Deliora's horned head.
"Your arrogance ends here!" he roared, his heel coated in brilliant magic as he came crashing down.
The ground quaked under the impact, and the valley lit up once more with the clash of golden radiance and demonic darkness.
Noah's eyes glinted as the golden blades of light locked into place, their radiant edges humming with power. Deliora's immense frame quivered under the suppression, its once-wild movements now sluggish and bound. Even its jaws, straining to unleash another destructive beam, could only creak open uselessly.
"The Sword of Sealing Light," Noah murmured with satisfaction. "So long as this stands, you're nothing more than a caged beast."
He stretched out his hand again, golden magic swirling and condensing in his palm. The energy spun violently, shaping itself into a spiraling sphere of light.
"It's not exactly my style to copy others," he said with a wry smile, "but I've always wanted to see how it feels to throw this one…"
The sphere stabilized, radiating waves of condensed energy.
"Let's see if my version of your famous technique is worthy!"
The ground trembled as Noah's magic circle expanded beneath his feet. Above Deliora, golden light gathered like a second sun, pouring into the growing spiral in his hand.
" Light Release: Spiral Cannon!"
With a roar, he thrust his palm forward. The sphere detonated into a spiraling torrent of golden energy that shot straight at the immobilized demon.
Deliora's eyes widened in disbelief as the torrent engulfed its massive frame. The valley was drowned in radiance, the very air vibrating under the overwhelming force.
Stone cracked. Trees incinerated. The battlefield itself seemed ready to collapse under the sheer destructive power unleashed.
When the light finally began to fade, only smoke, dust, and the echo of Noah's magic remained.
