Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: The Blessing of Professions

With the fusion of the power of reincarnation, Jason Kin's realm rose to that of a true god. His divine domain also expanded, growing from 25,000 square kilometers to 50,000. This was already comparable to the size of a small country in the human world.

Although the ratio remained six parts land and four parts water, a new change had appeared. Suspended above one section of his divine domain floated the Book of Reincarnation, its red glow filling the sky. One of its pages was open, showing nothing but a swirling crimson vortex. A single glance was enough to make one's soul sink into it. Jason knew this was the Gate of Reincarnation.

"Close," he commanded, and the book shut on its own. He reached out, and the book appeared in his hand. With a thought, it transformed into a seed. He tossed it into the soil, and in an instant it grew into a towering Reincarnation Tree, glowing red, its countless leaves like pages of the book.

Now, his divine domain had three trees. The Life Tree, the Light Tree, and the Reincarnation Tree stood tall, complementing each other and making the divine domain more complete.

Jason knew this was thanks to his followers. Without their devotion, none of this would have been possible. Among them, Vog stood out. He had not only recruited many believers but also founded the Holy Light Order. This gave Jason an idea. If he could shape professions around his three divine powers, he could create a true divine system for his followers.

Through the channel of faith, Jason revealed his divine form.

A towering figure of a god appeared, thousands of meters high. Behind him stretched his divine domain, radiant and holy, where the three divine trees shone brightly. The green light of life, the white light of hope, and the red light of reincarnation intertwined into a breathtaking pattern.

The crowd of believers trembled with awe. To them, this was paradise, the ideal world humans dreamed of.

The moment the divine form appeared, godly pressure descended like a prison. All the believers fell to the ground, trembling in reverence. Vog shouted with fanatic joy.

"Great and holy Lord of Life, our god of faith, please protect your humble followers!"

Thousands of believers echoed his words. Their devotion grew even deeper.

Jason's voice rolled across the heavens. "I am pleased with your offerings. This is your reward."

Three streams of divine light shot out, falling onto the bodies of the most devout. Over five hundred fanatics felt their bodies transform, becoming stronger and gaining strange new powers. Though they did not yet know how to use these abilities, their faith burned hotter than ever.

Then Jason raised his hand again, sending a crimson light onto Vog.

"Vog, you have done well. This is my personal gift to you. I grant you Spirit Possession and Soul Extraction."

As the new divine powers filled him, Vog cried out in excitement. The believers dropped to their knees, shouting praises.

"Great Lord of Life, your humble followers thank you for your grace. We will spread your light across the world. Your power is eternal, and your divine fire will never fade!"

Jason smiled in his heart. With this blessing, the channels of faith became thicker and more stable. His followers were no longer powerless mortals. They now had professions.

The fanatics were divided into three classes.

Healers, who used the power of life. White Mages, who wielded the power of light. Summoners, who controlled the power of reincarnation.

Each had unique skills. Healers used Life's Holy Light and Vitality Devour. White Mages could cast spells through the power of light. Summoners wielded Spirit Possession and Soul Extraction.

For ordinary mortals, this transformation was no less than a miracle.

As for Vog, he had advanced to a whole new level, reaching the fifth tier of extraordinary power. His strength had grown beyond imagination.

Jason's thunderous voice resounded again. "Use my gifts wisely. Should any defy my will or commit evil, my judgment will descend upon them."

The believers bowed deeply, trembling with reverence.

"Your humble followers will not fail you. The glory of the Lord of Life will shine across the world. Your power is eternal, and your divine fire will never fade!"

Jason withdrew his divine form. Though the oppressive weight vanished, his believers' faith only deepened further. His name as the Lord of Life would surely spread even farther.

Satisfied, Jason turned his gaze toward Effie's side.

Unlike Vog, Effie's sacrifice was special. Following Jason's secret instructions, she had prepared an unusual offering: a retired Yorktown-class aircraft carrier. The massive warship had long been docked as a tourist exhibit, but now it would be given new life in the divine domain.

Kneeling before his statue, Effie led her group of believers in prayer.

"Great Lord of Life, master of all existence, your power is supreme. Please accept our sacrifice!"

Jason accepted the offering without hesitation. With a wave of his hand, the enormous aircraft carrier splashed into the waters of his domain.

The sudden arrival of the warship caught the attention of his apostles, who had been relaxing nearby.

"Another new ship, another sister for us," Icarus said.

"Which means another player for our games," Laffey muttered, puffing her cheeks. She loved playing cards ever since Jason taught her, and now she worried about having to share turns.

"Hopefully she'll be younger than me. Then I can finally act like an older sister," Laffey added, taking a sip from her bottle with a smug look.

"Shall we go take a look?" Effie suggested, curious. Though she was Jason's first woman and his closest apostle, she had never fully understood the origin of the ship girls.

"Let's go," Bismarck agreed, and the group headed toward Jason.

On the carrier, Jason placed his palm on its hull. A ring of blue light surrounded it, wrapping it in technology-like radiance. The ship dissolved, replaced by the figure of a tall woman with a firm, dignified presence.

[Log]: 100,000 faith points consumed to awaken a Yorktown-class aircraft carrier.

[Log]: Shipgirl generated with a random template. Success.

[Log]: You have obtained a shipgirl of epic grade, Enterprise.

[System]: Critical success. Shipgirl upgraded to demigod grade. Additional gift: Land Combat Boots.

[System]: You have obtained a ninth-tier demigod shipgirl, Enterprise.

Jason's eyes lit up. "Enterprise… the strong and righteous carrier girl herself. Perfectly fitting for the Yorktown-class."

Not only had he gained her, but she had been strengthened ten thousand times over, rising directly to demigod tier. With Bismarck, Icarus, and the spirit within his ring, Jason now commanded four demigod-level beings. His power base had reached an unmatched height.

And as he thought this, the shipgirl in her navy cap and long black stockings stepped forward. Enterprise had awakened.
