Sunny's POV
Sunny's heart shattered as he felt Luna running away from him through their bond.
"Luna, wait!" he shouted, chasing after her retreating presence. "What's wrong? Why are you running?"
But she didn't answer. Through their connection, all Sunny could feel was her terror and confusion. It was like she was afraid of him, which made no sense at all.
Sunny rounded a corner and saw Luna disappear down another tunnel. Her limp was worse now, and she kept looking back at him with wide, frightened eyes.
"Luna, please!" Sunny called desperately. "Talk to me! What happened?"
Instead of stopping, Luna moved faster, using her shadow magic to blend into the darkness ahead.
Sunny started to follow her, but suddenly the tunnel around him began to shimmer like water. The green glow from the shadow runes grew brighter, and Sunny felt a strange tingling in his mind.
Then the visions started.
