After a long time, the warmth of their lips slowly parted. Under the city's neon lights, both of their faces were flushed.
"Hah..." Gwen took a long breath. Her cheeks felt even hotter; she had even felt a little out of breath.
But this feeling excited her.
She never thought she could be so bold. She had only wanted to get closer, and then a little closer, but she felt like a moth flying toward a flame. She couldn't control her emotions, and she even wanted to get closer to Cassius.
But when she came back to her senses, her heart was racing. She couldn't believe she had kissed him.
"So that's what you meant by 'fever'?" Cassius licked his lips, teasing her with a smile. He really hadn't expected Gwen to have such a passionate side. First, a kiss on the cheek, and now directly on the lips. This was beyond his imagination.
"You... don't say anything." Gwen's face was flushed, and she felt hot all over. Being called out on it made her so embarrassed that she didn't know where to put her hands.
"But it was really soft..." Cassius looked at her lips, and a daring thought came to mind. He had to say, this only made his desire grow stronger.
"No... Don't say it. And can you please put your gun on your waist from now on? It was poking me." Gwen pouted, her face red as she spoke. She had been holding it in while she was hugging him. It was an indescribably uncomfortable feeling, but also good.
"You did it, but you won't admit it? I never thought Ghost-Spider would be so bold." Cassius looked at the soft Gwen in his arms. He saw her shy expression and couldn't help but continue teasing her. "Why do you look so violated? I'm the one who was forced into this."
"Stop talking! Shut up!" Hearing this, Gwen wanted to turn into a spider and crawl into a hole. She didn't even know why she had been so impulsive. She felt her eardrums thumping, and she could even hear her own heartbeat.
But Cassius, who was holding her, felt incredibly happy. Of course, it would be better if that poking thing would stop poking her.
"What, is it uncomfortable?" Cassius held her thigh and lifted her up. The two of them were closer now, so close that they could feel each other's breath on their faces. At this close distance, their eyes met, as if they could see into each other's hearts.
"Yes, it is a little, because your kissing skills are bad and awful!" Even though Gwen had never kissed anyone before, she couldn't help but retort. She couldn't possibly say it felt good, or she would be ridiculed.
"Really? Then it looks like we need to practice a little more!" Cassius wrapped his arms around her waist, and this time, Gwen wasn't the one being proactive. This felt to Gwen like she was sucking on candy. It was delicious, and she couldn't help but want more.
About three or four minutes passed before they separated. Gwen was breathing heavily. Her eyes became hazy, and she looked at Cassius as if they were glued together. It was as if at that moment, they were the only two people left in the world.
"What? Are you feeling better? Want to keep going?" Cassius looked at the alluring Gwen and a smile appeared on his lips as he tempted her like a devil.
"No! I can't breathe." Gwen quickly dodged him. She felt like she was a flowing river. If they kept going, she would be truly embarrassed. Even though her spider-suit was waterproof, being sticky and wet was still uncomfortable.
Seeing Gwen dodge like a little bunny, Cassius's smile grew wider. Although he had seen many flowers, this budding one gave him a different kind of experience.
Rumble!!!
Just then, a blue light flashed across the sky. Then, a torrential downpour began. Large raindrops hit the streets. In less than a dozen seconds, everything as far as the eye could see was covered in rain. Countless raindrops fell from the sky, pouring down on the ground. Pedestrians on the street quickly ran for nearby shelters. The heavy rain was accompanied by strong winds.
"Ah..." Gwen was instantly soaked.
"Let's find a place to hide from the rain!" Cassius said, looking at the narrow shelter. This little space was not enough to hide from the downpour. Besides, it was getting late, and they had to leave.
"Where?" Gwen frowned, clutching her suit. Although her suit was waterproof, the rain still seeped in through the neckline. She was already feeling sticky and uncomfortable, and now she felt even worse. She could even feel her underwear was soaked.
"To my place!" Cassius's mouth curled into a smile. Without another word, he wrapped his arm around Gwen's slender waist.
"Huh?!" Gwen felt his breath so close to her, and the next second, she was lifted into the air. She felt Cassius carrying her as he flew into the distance. The rain from the sky continued to beat down on them. But Gwen, being carried like a princess, forgot all about it. All that was on her mind were the three words Cassius had just said.
To his place?!
Could this be?
Just as she was in a daze, with a golden flash, they appeared in a manor-style villa. Looking at the golden chandeliers, Gwen was stunned.
"Where is this?"
It felt like it had only been a few seconds!
She looked out the window, but what she saw was not tall buildings. Instead, there was a dense forest. Even the heavy rain didn't seem to reach here. She could only see the strong wind blowing through the trees, making them sway.
"My home." Cassius didn't put Gwen down. Instead, he held her even tighter.
"How did you do that?!" Gwen was baffled. She couldn't understand why they had appeared in another place in just the blink of an eye. Could someone in this world really run that fast?!
"That's a secret." Cassius didn't say anything, but under the bright lights, he was admiring Gwen's figure. Because of the rain, the tight suit was stuck to her body. The water flowing inside was like small streams, and the skin-tight suit made her look incredibly alluring.
"You... don't look!" Gwen noticed this and immediately jumped off Cassius. She covered her chest in shame. But in her heart, she couldn't help but feel a little happy. Because it seemed like Cassius really liked her body.
"I'm not looking, I'm not looking. You go take a shower, and I'll get you some clothes." Cassius's mouth was dry, and he averted his gaze.
"Where's the bathroom?" After asking for the bathroom's location, Gwen, with her sexy figure, ran to the second-floor bathroom.
"Imelda, can you have a set of clothes sent over for me?" Cassius pressed a button on the wall and told the maid who lived nearby through the intercom.
Knock, knock, knock.
Just then, there was a knock on the villa's door. Since it was late, the maid had already gone home. So Cassius had to go and open the door himself. But when he opened the door, he froze.
"Wanda?!" He never expected the person at the door to be Wanda. "What are you doing here?" He had just brought Gwen back, and now Wanda was here. He didn't know what to do.
"What's wrong? Don't you want to see me?" Wanda looked at the stiff-faced Cassius with tired eyes. When she saw him, her tense mood relaxed. She hadn't expected to be so bold as to come here directly. But she knew that she missed him.
"Of course I do..." Cassius's expression was strange, and his heart rate sped up slightly. He estimated that he wouldn't be able to keep this manor for long. He couldn't even imagine what Wanda would do if she saw what was happening.
"Oh, by the way, someone sent clothes to the door, so I brought them in for you." Wanda opened the bag with a confused look. Inside were two sets of youthful-looking clothes. "Did you get these for me?"
"This... yes." Cassius's heart tightened, and he nodded stiffly. He couldn't possibly say they were for Gwen!
Just then...
A girl's tender voice came from the room upstairs, "Cassius, where are my clothes?!"
Crap! I'm busted! Cassius's heart sank.
