"Son of Cloros… Hades?"
In his final moments, the Sun God Hyperion finally grew calm.
"You are strong, but your future remains uncertain."
"I bestow upon you the power of Chu Zhen, so you may wield part of the Sun God's divine might. Let this be my final gift to this world as I die."
At that moment, Hades once again returned to Aaron's posture. This being—a member of the Twelve Titan Gods—had intended to entrust the Chu Zhen in his hands to him.
Could it be that the fragment of Chu Zhen that appeared in the Crimson Universe had been given by the Sun God himself?
Before Aaron could answer, the Sun God's palace before him vanished entirely. Hyperion's true body was sealed, and with the battle concluded, Poseidon had likewise defeated the Sea Goddess.
Next, the focus turned to Zeus.
Crackling!
A bolt of extreme lightning streaked across the sky. A creation of unmatched natural power, its explosive energy surpassed all other forces. Even Thor, among the Titan Gods, wielded immense destructive power, but when this thunder condensed into a single point… its terror was absolute.
"Cloros!!!"
Zeus' form appeared atop the king's palace, enveloped in God-Killing Thunder. Hades' gaze instinctively turned toward the most mysterious palace among the Twelve Titans.
"Mnemosyne… Goddess of Memory?"
She was one of the Twelve Titans, wife to Zeus, and the goddess in charge of memory. Even the memories of the gods were hers to command. She had sealed Coos' memory and stripped most of the Titans' recollections.
It was she who had bestowed the destructive thunderbolt to Zeus. Her identity was far from simple.
In an instant, the energy distorted space, shattering the God's Emblems themselves. Even Hades had to retreat from the Maze of the Moment to avoid it. The crackling energy fell directly upon Cloros, tearing his body apart.
"You are the father of my three brothers. Your fractured soul shall be sealed within this Chu Zhen! From this moment, the era of Titans ruling the universe ends."
Cloros' eyes widened in disbelief. How could this be? This was the universe he had ruled for eons. His own child… the greatest curse of Uranus manifested.
"No! No!!!"
His body turned to ashes, his soul bound by the scythe. The King of Titans, Cloros, had fallen in battle. Fulfilling the curse, he perished at his own child's hands.
The new gods would be led by Zeus, each expanding their dominion—Zeus ruling the heavens and earth, Poseidon the seas.
Hades stood in the underworld, gazing at the devastated scene of the exiled Titans, and nodded. He finally understood the significance of Chu Zhen's appearance. Hell itself rested upon the body of an ancient creation god; when his body collapsed, the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and the Underworld would likewise falter. The Chu Zhen fragments sealed here may have been released by some incomprehensible force.
But what could this fragment truly signify?
Hades could not yet contend with Zeus—this master was omnipotent, transcending all powers. He surpassed the previous two generations of God-Kings and wielded ultimate power reserved only for ancient gods. Hades had only just manifested the God's Emblem, yet it was sufficient: balance among heaven, earth, sea, and underworld was maintained.
The Olympian gods multiplied and grew stronger. Hades stood alone in the underworld, expanding step by step, shaping the world.
Small Universe.God's Small Universe. The Will of the Gods.Ultimate Power.
Hades pondered whether a greater force lay behind this ultimate power, and why, as Cloros' heir, he himself could not yet wield it fully. How did the ultimate power differ from the God's Emblem?
Unfortunately, the Reality Gem's maximum manifestation slowly faded. After all, the Infinite Gems were not omnipotent. These six Gems existed only within this universe. Aaron had sought to probe forgotten memories with the Reality Gem, but it was never easy.
Yet now, it had sufficed.
God's Emblem.
Aaron opened his eyes. The forbidden truth in his hand had vanished. In its place was the Sun God Hyperion's divine power, bestowed upon him in memory at his death.
"This old immortal… even in death, he can't leave things be!"
Aaron raised his right hand, summoning an extreme heat. In his left, a dark emblem slowly materialized—the Hades God's Emblem, cold and shadowy. He could feel both powers clearly: one scorching, the other frigid.
Hyperion had intended to use his undiminished divine power to suppress Hades' emblem, preventing comprehension of ultimate power. Ruthless, indeed.
As the two forces manifested, a sudden flash struck Aaron's mind. Instantly, he vanished from the palace of Radamandes in the Eighth Hell. In the next moment, he reappeared outside the Sixth Prison, beneath the Great Waterfall of Blood.
Forged from the blood and tears of all who suffered in Hell, the river's waters coalesced into a magnificent waterfall.
"That breath just now…" Aaron frowned, moving forward step by step.
