Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – The Dragon That Whispers Madness

The wind screamed like tortured metal.

Above the shattered coastline, SCP-6789 unfurled its three necks, each one crowned with a head wreathed in voidfire. Its wings blotted out the fractured sky — on one side the eternal crimson storm, on the other a black ocean where constellations writhed like living things.

The kaiju's scales pulsed with black veins, wriggling like parasites beneath the surface. Its middle head spoke, but not in sound — in thoughts, dripping into Ethan's mind like oil.

> "We remember your bones… from before you were born."

"We will drink the star-fire in your blood."

"We will peel your soul, layer by layer."

Ethan snarled. "Yeah? I'll peel you first."

---

The First Strike

The Carnitrix dial spun under his fingers. He chose a form that looked like a cross between a Force-sensitive Kryptonian and Way Big, layered with chitin armor like an insectoid predator.

The burn hit instantly — his body exploding in size until he was fifty meters tall, lightsaber now a blade of pure plasma twenty meters long. The Force roared in his ears, amplifying his reflexes to meet Ghidorah's impossible speed.

The right head struck first, jaws crackling with antimatter lightning. Ethan's blade met it mid-snap, carving through several scales before the monster yanked back with a shriek that made the ocean boil.

He reached with the Force, gripping the far-left head, trying to hold it — but a psychic spike drove into his skull, Nyarlathotep's whispers clawing at his sanity.

---

The Madness Surge

His vision swam. For a second, the battlefield shifted — not water and sky, but a titanic library built from screaming corpses, books bound in living skin, and in the distance… a figure of infinite masks smiling at him.

The middle head laughed. "You see now."

Ethan roared, snapping back to reality. Protego Maxima! he screamed in his mind. A shield of shimmering blue magic wrapped around him just as the right head unleashed another antimatter discharge.

The blast still sent him skidding back a hundred meters, tearing a trench in the steaming sand.

---

Mixing the Arsenal

He slammed the Omnitrix again. His form warped — shrinking but becoming denser, flesh giving way to a hybrid of Heatblast and Zabrak Sith Lord, volcanic plates radiating molten Force energy.

With a leap, he was airborne, Apparating mid-jump directly onto Ghidorah's central neck. His lightsaber drove between two scales, molten magic searing the wound deeper.

> "YOU DARE—" the central head began.

Ethan cut it off with a Force push so intense it cracked vertebrae the size of buildings.

---

The Counterattack

The left head swung and caught him with a bite. He felt teeth pierce the Carnitrix armor, his HUD flashing red warnings across his vision. Then they lifted him — up, up, until the clouds swirled around them.

And then… they dropped him.

Wind tore past as he fell thousands of meters toward the churning sea below. At the last instant, he screamed, "Wingardium Leviosa!" slowing his descent just enough to land in a Force-cushioned crouch.

---

Jason Wayne Intervenes

From the shore, Jason Wayne watched with folded arms, his golden eyes reflecting every movement. With a flick of his hand, the waves froze mid-crash, the sky's lightning bent away from the battlefield.

"Impressive," Jason murmured. "But let's see if you can finish it."

The field snapped back to chaos. Jason was gone, leaving Ethan alone again.

---

Unleashing the Carnitrix Hybrid

Ethan's fingers danced on the dial. He selected a form combining Godzilla's physiology, a Force-wielder's precognition, and the Predalien's brutal close-combat adaptations.

The transformation was monstrous — towering nearly as high as Ghidorah, dorsal plates glowing with a sickly mix of green and red energy.

The Force whispered his next move. He obeyed.

He fired a beam — not atomic breath, but a Force-enhanced plasma torrent, magic-laced, straight into Ghidorah's chest. The blast burned through corrupted flesh, Nyarlathotep's essence writhing like a shadow trying to escape.

The middle head screamed in pure psychic pain.

---

The Eldritch Counter

Ghidorah's corruption spread like wildfire. Nyarlathotep's influence bled into the environment — the ocean rose in vertical walls, each wave's foam forming screaming faces. The sky inverted, constellations dripping like ink toward the ground.

Ethan's mind began to fracture again.

> "Why fight?" the whispers coiled around his thoughts. "Join. You will be many and one. We will be."

He gritted his teeth. Expecto Patronum!

A surge of pure silver light exploded from his chest, forming a massive phoenix Patronus that burned the whispers away for a heartbeat of clarity.

---

The Final Gambit

He had seconds. That was enough.

He shifted into a Shiva-sized alien ice elemental with Force-speed reflexes, channeling both magic and telekinesis to conjure a spear of crystallized kyber energy.

With a Force-assisted leap, he drove the spear into Ghidorah's chest wound. The Carnitrix amplified the blow with all the power of his previous forms layered together.

The monster convulsed, all three heads shrieking, the sound ripping clouds apart.

---

Severing the Corruption

Ethan called on the Force — all of it — pulling light and dark into balance. His lightsaber flared to pure white as he slashed at the tendrils of Nyarlathotep's essence, severing them strand by strand.

The corruption screamed as it burned away, retreating back into the void between stars.

Ghidorah's body collapsed, slamming into the sea with a wave that would have drowned cities. When it rose again, its eyes were merely gold — no black veins, no whispers.

It looked at Ethan once. Then it took wing and vanished into the horizon.

---

Aftermath

Ethan dropped to one knee, breathing hard. The Carnitrix timed out, leaving him in human form, blood in his mouth and his magic reserves dangerously low.

Jason Wayne appeared at his side. "You didn't kill it," Jason said.

"Didn't need to," Ethan replied. "It wasn't the dragon's fault. Just the parasite."

Jason's lips curled in approval. "You think like an Endless already."

Ethan looked out over the ocean. "So what now?"

Jason's smile was cold. "Now? We hunt the god that infected it."
