Chapter 6 - Chapter 5 – Spawn of the Black Goat

The breach alarms weren't sirens anymore — they were screams.

Reality tore open in jagged spirals above the SCP–Endless forward command station, letting in the smell of rot and starfire.

Through the fractures poured Shub-Niggurath's spawn — masses of chitin, flesh, and impossible geometry, their limbs twitching at angles that hurt the mind.

On the ridgeline, Ethan stood in armor that shimmered with a thousand alien biosignatures.

The Carnitrix core glowed hot at his chest, ready to obey.

Below, the battlefield churned. Godzilla hurled atomic fire into the swarm. SCP-682 tore through spawn with bloodied jaws. Able danced in the carnage like a shadow of death.

And in the sky above them, Jason's silhouette hung in the clouds — wings of pure light unfurled, cutting swaths of darkness from the air.

---

Ethan slammed the Carnitrix dial.

Transformation 1 – Singularity Fang

His body warped into a black, crystalline predator with a core that devoured light. He leapt into the mass, jaws opening into a miniature black hole that shredded ten spawn instantly.

Kill Count: +10

But the Goat's children didn't die clean. Each burst into spores that carried whispers straight into the mind.

---

Jason's voice rang through the comm. "Containment lines collapsing in Sector 7! Push forward!"

Ethan swapped forms mid-leap.

Transformation 2 – Chrono-Raptor

Time froze around him. He moved through the suspended spawn, severing limbs and shattering carapaces before letting the clock resume.

Fifty bodies hit the ground in a single, synchronous thud.

Kill Count: +60

---

An explosion rocked the ridge. The cause wasn't the spawn — it was SCP-096, tearing through containment and screaming in a rage no one could stop.

It ignored the spawn entirely, charging toward the Endless lines.

"Dammit," Ethan hissed. The Carnitrix dial spun.

Transformation 3 – Void-Titan

Thirty feet tall, plated in anti-matter armor, Ethan slammed into 096 with enough force to crater the earth. Each hit released shockwaves that flattened dozens more spawn.

But even in this form, 096 couldn't be killed. Only distracted.

Jason descended, hurling Michael's Essence like spears of burning scripture. "Keep it away from the command!"

---

The sky split.

A single colossal hoof pressed through a portal the size of a continent.

Shub-Niggurath's true body wasn't here yet — just a fraction of its form, and already the ground bled.

Its voice poured into every mind:

"Feed… multiply… consume…"

---

The SCP–Endless strike force pushed hard.

Doctor Fate's spells detonated across the spawn ranks. SCP-343 reshaped the battlefield into molten trenches. Mothra's wings cast blinding light that burned lesser creatures to ash.

Ethan dove back into the fight.

Transformation 4 – Aetherstorm Leviathan

Wings of plasma, body of living tempest. He hurled lightning-storms across miles, incinerating hundreds.

Spawn shrieked and boiled in the air.

Kill Count: +540

---

Then… the infection readings spiked.

Carnitrix AI:

> INFECTION SOURCE CONFIRMED. SIGNATURE MATCH – ENDLESS COUNCIL MEMBER. IDENTITY: DREAM.

Ethan froze mid-flight. Dream? The Lord of Stories, the weaver of the realm of sleep — corrupted by Nyarlathotep and serving the Goat?

It explained the cultist dreams, the psychic leaks… but how to act here, with the battle raging?

Jason's voice cut in. "Ethan. You have to confirm it."

---

The Goat's spawn surged again. One massive beast — a fusion of SCP-2317's breach guardian and some Kaiju horror — smashed through containment, its maw stretching far enough to bite battleships in half.

Ethan hit the Carnitrix dial again.

Transformation 5 – Entropy Wraith

Intangible, shrouded in energy decay fields, he phased through the monster, unmaking its organs from the inside.

The corpse collapsed before it even realized it was dead.

Kill Count: +841

---

The momentary lull gave him the chance. Ethan cut across the battlefield toward Dream.

The Endless Lord stood in the midst of chaos, untouched, his pale hand weaving illusions over the spawn — illusions that made them smarter.

"Stop," Ethan demanded through the comms. "You're helping them think."

Dream's smile was sad. "I am helping them win."

That was enough.

Ethan's blade ignited — a lightsaber, fueled by the Force, glowing like a fragment of sunrise.

---

The duel tore reality at the seams.

Dream's attacks weren't physical — they were stories given shape, forcing Ethan into hallucinated pasts, false futures, endless loops of failure.

But the Carnitrix gave Ethan anchors — alien minds immune to Dream's narratives.

Transformation 6 – Mind-Bastion Prime

A psychic fortress of living crystal, Ethan deflected the assaults and struck with hybrid Force–magic–alien power.

The final blow shattered Dream's mask… and revealed the writhing shadow of Nyarlathotep beneath.

---

Jason arrived, essence blazing. "Stand down!" he commanded — but it wasn't for Ethan.

It was for the entire battlefield.

The other Endless froze, seeing the truth.

Nyarlathotep's avatar screamed, twisting free from Dream's body and fleeing into the breach toward Shub-Niggurath's hoof.

Ethan and Jason locked eyes.

They had their traitor.

But the Goat had its gateway.

---

The hoof descended fully.

The air became liquid black.

Spawn rose in numbers beyond counting. The Kaiju line broke. SCP forces scattered. Even Godzilla stumbled under the pressure.

Jason roared, wings cutting swaths of void as he hurled half of Presence's power into the portal — a beam of raw existence.

Ethan slammed the Carnitrix for the final push.

Transformation 7 – Omni-Genesis Apex

Every form, every power, every alien — fused into one towering, four-armed, six-winged warform.

He tore through the spawn like a cosmic hurricane, killing thousands in minutes.

Final Kill Count: +7,000+

---

Together, Jason and Ethan forced the hoof back into the breach, sealing it in chains of Light, Force, and magic.

The battlefield fell silent, save for the burning wreckage and the distant roar of Godzilla's victory cry.

But they knew it wasn't over.

Nyarlathotep was still loose.

Shub-Niggurath still pushed from beyond.

And the Endless Council was no longer united.
