It had been a week since the day Louis turned into a black veil and floated in midair. Luckily, he managed to slip into Zone 1 conveniently.
Zone 1 was a sacred, untouchable area that only applied to ordinary people. For a monster like Louis, entering this place was far too easy. After that, it took him another two days to infiltrate Sylus's palace.
Louis couldn't help but feel that Sylus was far too careless. If his mission had been to assassinate Sylus, he was sure he could have pulled it off flawlessly!
666 was especially considerate, even guiding the way. Clearly, it was far too eager to see this first mission completed.
Sylus's palace was perched atop the tallest tower in Zone 1, almost piercing the heavens. Most of the architecture in Zone 1 was composed of bizarrely towering spires, structures that only the winged inhabitants here could withstand.
So, to avoid being discovered, Louis shifted from flying to crawling.
