Chapter 294 - Chapter 293: As Expected, the Great Emperor Knows How to Have Fun!

"You're saying Sister Lexuan and Jiang Nannan are also undergoing divine trials?" Qian Lingyi said dazedly. "Which one? Sister Lexuan or Jiang Nannan?"

"It's Nannan. Her sixth Moonlight Nine Trial requires her to assist me in completing the seventh trial," Zhu Ziyang answered. "As for Sister Lexuan, she's undergoing a Red-Level Eight Trial. Her sixth trial is also to assist me with the seventh."

"I see!" the girl murmured blankly, and then a moment later suddenly shrieked, "I knew it! I knew it! How could Jiang Nannan possibly jump eight ranks in a single year? So it was cheating! Damn it! I knew I couldn't be slower than her!"

"Uh…" Zhu Ziyang didn't know how to respond. He could only squeeze her small hand and say, "Alright, now that you know our goal for this journey, let's go find Sister Lexuan and Nannan."

"Brother Yang, I'm not satisfied!" Qian Lingyi pouted with displeasure.

"Hahaha!" Zhu Ziyang couldn't help laughing, ignoring her complaints as he took her to meet up with Jiang Nannan and Zhang Lexuan.

Once the four of them regrouped, they went over the checklist again. Finding everything ready, Zhu Ziyang declared, "All set. Let's depart!"

The four arrived at a deserted beach on April Island and selected a suitable spot for anchoring.

"Go!" Zhang Lexuan held the Moon God Shuttle in her palm and infused it with soul power. The shuttle immediately radiated silver-white light, rose into the air, and began to expand. Before their astonished eyes, the palm-sized model transformed into a massive shuttle over forty meters long, five meters wide, and nearly three meters tall. Its ends were slim and rounded, the middle broad and sturdy. Golden array lines covered its surface, each stroke emanating a special soul power fluctuation.

The ship's midsection, originally meant to be exposed, was now fully enclosed by a silver-white crystal shield, shielding its passengers from the harsh sea winds and waves. Through the shield, the interior layout was obscured, but just the shuttle's exterior was already enough to impress them.

"This is the Moon God Shuttle? So beautiful, it's nothing like the boats I imagined!" Jiang Nannan was the first to express her amazement, eyes sparkling.

"I didn't expect it to look like this either," Zhang Lexuan said, equally surprised.

"This is a tenth-grade soul tool?" Qian Lingyi asked with a strange expression. "It's gorgeous, but somehow it doesn't meet my expectations."

"It's a shuttle after all. The exterior is secondary—the interior is what matters," Zhu Ziyang replied. He turned to Zhang Lexuan. "Sister Lexuan, open the hatch. Let's go in."

"Alright!" she nodded, and with a thought, the crystal barrier retracted to the sides, revealing the ship's cabin.

Zhu Ziyang leapt in first, followed by Zhang Lexuan, Jiang Nannan, and Qian Lingyi.

Once they entered, Zhang Lexuan closed the hatch again. But none of them paid attention to that—their focus was entirely captured by the ship's interior.

To their amazement, the cabin was divided into three parts: a cockpit at the front, a central hall, and a resting chamber at the rear. The hall, nearly ten meters long, was the largest section and the only one exposed beneath the crystal dome. It had a few metal tables and chairs, with the remaining space filled with storage compartments.

The cockpit, the smallest section, was not what they expected. Aside from a steering rudder, there were only four crystal orbs. Each of them instinctively approached one orb and infused a strand of soul power. The crystals lit up, revealing their respective functions.

From left to right: the red orb in front of Zhu Ziyang controlled ascent and descent—essentially turning the Moon God Shuttle into a submarine. It also operated a soul screen for navigating the sea.

Jiang Nannan's green orb, closest to the rudder, controlled speed. It adjusted based on soul power input, with a minimum of 500 km/h and a maximum of 2,500 km/h—a fivefold range.

Zhang Lexuan's blue orb stored energy—soul power. A single Soul Douluo's full power could sustain travel at the lowest speed for three months.

The green and blue orbs combined enabled autonomous navigation. The only manual input required was occasional steering.

Qian Lingyi's white orb was the long-awaited sea chart. Made ten thousand years ago when the Sun Moon Continent hadn't yet collided with the Douluo Continent, the map showed all known surrounding lands.

The first thing they saw was the ancient Douluo Continent to the east of the Sun Moon Continent. On the map, it was about two finger-widths away, meaning six months of full-speed travel. The map also showed unknown continents to the west and south.

Unfortunately, those weren't their target—the Eastern Continent. The map detailed nearby islands east of the Douluo Continent, but no major landmass within 100,000 kilometers.

They couldn't be sure how the ancients had drawn this map, but being embedded into the Moon God Shuttle by the Silver Moon Empress herself made it trustworthy enough.

"Ziyang, what should we do? Should we search for other charts?" Zhang Lexuan asked hesitantly.

"No need," Zhu Ziyang shook his head. "This chart is enough. We don't have time."

"Alright then." She nodded, and suggested, "Let's go check out the resting chamber next. We'll likely be spending a long time there—hope it's comfortable."

"Sure." Zhu Ziyang nodded, and the group moved through the hall to the rest area.

What they found stunned them—not because it was crude, but because it was too luxurious. Plush furs lined the floor, and all furnishings were top-tier, fit for royalty.

But what left them speechless was the massive bed in the center—big enough for ten people and clearly designed with... intimacy in mind. The entire decor screamed romantic indulgence.

Jiang Nannan, Zhang Lexuan, and Qian Lingyi all blushed furiously. Zhu Ziyang awkwardly scratched his head, silently feeling gratitude and admiration for the Silver Moon Empress.

What they didn't know was that the Moon God Shuttle, though crafted by the Empress, had help from the Purple Radiance Emperor and Golden Sun Empress. It was originally created for the Emperor to travel the seas with his harem.

The sea chart? Drawn by the Emperor himself during those voyages.

Truly, the great emperor knew how to enjoy life.

"Haha… uh, how about we get going?" Zhu Ziyang coughed, trying to change the subject.

"Mm." The three girls quickly nodded, eager to escape the awkward atmosphere.

They gathered at the cockpit. Zhu Ziyang took the helm and managed speed, Zhang Lexuan handled energy, and Jiang Nannan and Qian Lingyi activated the sea chart and soul screen.

With their soul power injected, the Moon God Shuttle—the one-of-a-kind tenth-grade soul tool—roared to life for the first time in ten thousand years.

"Depart!" Zhu Ziyang shouted boldly.

The Moon God Shuttle streaked across the sea like a meteor, heading into the vast unknown.
