" Foolish creature, Why struggle when your end is at hand. You stood no chance against my master, don't you think it would be a waste to die here?"
The frog demons lips moved, making strange sounds but, Su Ping couldn't understand it, but he could at least hear what Ming Yao was saying. She was trying to convince the demon to join them, Su Ping didn't understand why she would do that when it was obvious it was going to die sooner or later.

' it actually agreed?' Su Ping was surprised but agreed nonetheless. The next moment the Frog Demons body was bathed in a purple black glow but that didn't surprise Su Ping, what surprised him was the fact that the Frog demons injuries quickly recovered after being bathed by the purple black glow.
It now struck Su Ping that this was why Ming Yao was adamant on recruiting the powerful demon, it didn't matter if it was injured because the injuries would negated after the induction.

' Well I be, these two rewards are more impressive than I thought.' Su Ping thought to himself.
' With the Poison Elemental Gems, I can bait more swamp creatures whenever I'm in need of militia. I won't need to endanger myself by blinding searching through the swamp.'
' The dragons roar is definitely useful too, if not for it, I might have had to watch as those frog demons fled. It's a perfect attack to use and stun the enemy, not to mention it's an Area of effect ability. and can serve as a crowd controlling skill.'
Su Ping felt satisfied indeed with these wins. He glanced at the Rare tier Lvl 1 Frog demon, the demon unconsciously lowered it's gaze, proving to be submissive like he'd hoped.
Su Ping couldn't have the huge beast follow him around though. One it was gross and two it's combat strength would diminish if it left the swamp.
' From now on you shall be called, Qingwa Yi[1] '
' Your mission shall be recruiting more swamp denizens to join your ranks and increasing the range of my territory.' Su ping said before waving his right arm, a Poison Elemental Gem emerged in it the next moment.
The Frog Demon's eyes gleamed with agitation, even the imp demons, Ning An, Ming Yao and Yang Lan, who weren't poison types, stared at the gem with excitement.
" If you perform greatly, I'll be sure to reward you in kind. All those who serve me shall never lack." Su Ping said before putting away the Poison Elemental Gem.
" Consider it done master! I'll be sure to put my all into following your wishes." The Frog Demons eye's were filled with determination, it's body brimming with energy.
Su Ping was satisfied with his reaction, his ploy had worked. He wasn't sure the militia under his command would be loyal without a doubt, this at least assured him that he didn't have to worry about anything for now.
Next Su Ping, the three fox demons and ten imp demons set out towards the Abyssal blood tree region.

The moment Su Ping arrived he was momentarily taken aback. Compared to the sprouts, a full grown Abyssal blood tree was at least 10 meters tall and they were all rare tier units.
' How am I supposed to deal with an entire groove of these man eating plants.' Su Ping felt as if he had reached a dead end.
He knew the plants were sentient and would be valuable assets if recruited, but the problem stood with how he was supposed to get them to submit. He wasn't an Abyssal blood tree, nor was he a plant demon, not to mention that none of his subordinates could communicate with the plants as well.
An Abyssal blood tree sprout detected his presence when he accidentally came to close, the demonic plant instinctively lashed out, it's whip like vines whistling through the air.

Su Ping didn't hesitate to attack it, 5 purple black crescent energy blades instantly cut through the air, severing the vines and continuing on to the Abyssal blood tree sprout.
The blades easily sliced the plant demon into several pieces.
' This....' Su Ping's expression darkened when the diced Abyssal blood tree sprout began writhing like flesh, it's fluid leaking openings closing themselves while the Abyssal blood tree sprout slowly healed itself.
Su Ping's eyes glowed purple black, he mimicked the Poison blast of the frog demon, blasting the healing thing with a corrosive attack.
The Abyssal blood tree sprout released a shrill cry, its vines swinging madly in air while it's body released hissing sounds as it was corroded into nothing.
" Master, is something the matter?" Ming Yao walked up to Su Ping and asked but the latter remained silent, his eyes revealing a contemplative look.
Ming Yao knew that her master was adamant on taking over the surrounding territory's, the matter had excited her before but after seeing his clash within the swamp, her excitement had soon turned to worry, now seeing this entire groove filled with Rare tier Lvl 1 units, she was even more worried about her master.
She knew she couldn't be of help right now because she was simply too weak, if she or the others were to try to help him, they would not only be offering themselves to be eaten but would also hinder him.
The same thing had happened back at the swamp, at the time she was amazed by her masters power, her admiration brimming like never before, but deep inside, she also felt worried... worried that she couldn't be of help to
him and if this continued to be the norm, he might eventually lose interest in her and set her aside.
