Merus's mouth twitched.
You really are ruthless…
How are you supposed to become an Angel with that attitude?
Still, Merus had to admit—this approach wasn't bad.
After all, whether it was Ken or Broly, provoking Lord Mosco now would only cause greater trouble for their future training.
At this rate, before he could even finish his Angel training, Mosco might just catch him and ruin everything.
"By the way, there's something I don't quite understand," Ken spoke up again.
"What is it?" Merus asked.
"The Third Universe's God of Destruction, Mosco—he's just a robot controlled by a human, right?" Ken asked.
"Yes, that's correct." Merus nodded lightly.
"Then here's the question." Ken frowned in thought. "Is the human the real God of Destruction, or is the robot the God of Destruction?"
"Well… it should be the robot. The model Mosco uses boosts his power far more—well beyond fifty times, I'd guess," Merus answered. "Of course, that's only speculation. I don't know the Third Universe in great detail."
"His robot boosts strength that much?" Ken fell into deeper thought, a hint of greed flickering in his eyes.
Merus: "…"
"Don't tell me you're thinking of stealing Mosco's robot?" Merus asked, wiping sweat.
"No, I was just asking." Ken shook his head. "With my current strength, I'm no match for him at all. I do have enough self-awareness for that."
Merus let out a long breath and nodded firmly.
Good. At least you know that much.
"So the human controlling Mosco probably isn't that strong, right? If we could trick him out of Mosco's body, then we'd be able to beat him, wouldn't we?" Ken pressed on.
Merus had no words left.
So in the end, you really do want to steal Mosco…
"Ahem… well…" Merus didn't know how to respond.
"I'm just asking. Hopefully he doesn't come after me and Broly," Ken said.
"He won't. I'll find a way to keep this covered up," Merus exhaled in relief. Then he pointed toward the spaceship in the distance and suggested, "Let's head back to the ship first."
"Alright." Ken nodded and climbed back into the robot's body.
Ken piloted the robot toward the spaceship.
Broly stayed silent the entire time. Mostly because he still couldn't speak much, and it left him frustrated.
On the way back, Broly suddenly patted the robot's arm.
Ken turned his head to look at him.
"Steal!" Broly suggested, his expression full of excitement.
"…What?" Ken blinked, caught off guard.
"This… let's steal another one." Broly pointed at Ken's robot.
Ken: "…"
Merus: "…"
"Let's wait and see. If he comes looking for trouble, we'll just take his robot then," Ken said with a nod.
"Mm." Broly nodded vigorously, eyes shining with anticipation. He stared at Ken's robot, eyes practically glowing.
Merus held his forehead, feeling cold sweat drip down his cheek.
What kind of people are these two?
I'm speechless…
Can you really fight Lord Mosco?
Forget it. For now, he decided not to think about it.
Hopefully Lord Mosco still didn't know what had happened.
But before things got worse, it would be best to contact the Third Universe's Angel, Campari, and let him know what happened here.
Otherwise, Campari could easily uncover what had taken place.
The three of them soon returned to the spaceship.
Ken stayed inside the robot rather than climbing out.
Controlling this machine felt almost like fusing with his own body.
Not to mention—the seat inside was incredibly comfortable.
The technology of the Third Universe really was impressive.
Whoosh!
The spaceship blasted off, racing toward the Sacred World of the Kai.
It would take about five minutes to arrive.
During that time, Merus went to his room, conjured his staff, and opened a video call with the Third Universe's Angel, Campari.
"Well, well, isn't this Merus?" Campari greeted cheerfully.
"Hello, Mr. Campari," Merus replied politely.
"I've heard you've been training in the mortal realm. How's your progress?" Campari asked with a smile.
"Not bad… The Grand Priest sent me to the Seventh Universe's Galactic Patrol mainly to study the good and evil of mortals," Merus explained.
Campari didn't press further. If Merus had come calling, there was surely more to it.
"Today, I've truly witnessed the evil of mortals," Merus said with a sigh.
"Oh? What happened?" Campari asked curiously.
"First, may I ask—Lord Mosco isn't with you right now, is he?" Merus asked.
"No, he's not. He stepped out," Campari answered.
"That's good." Merus let out a small sigh of relief.
"What you're about to tell me… it concerns Lord Mosco, doesn't it?" Campari suddenly had a bad feeling.
"Lord Mosco has a son, doesn't he?" Merus asked directly.
"Yes. Strictly speaking, he's Lord Mule's son—the human who controls Mosco. His name is Muse," Campari corrected.
Merus: "…"
Does it really matter whose son he is right now?
Merus knew Campari was referring to Mule, the human operator of Mosco.
And that little brat had looked exactly like the one Broly had ripped in half.
"Did Muse travel to the Seventh Universe?" Campari asked.
"Yes. He's dead," Merus said bluntly.
Campari: "…"
Campari froze on the spot, left speechless.
Dead?
That was… explosive news.
"This matter is closely tied to me. The reason I'm contacting you, Mr. Campari, is because I'm hoping…" Merus hesitated, glancing awkwardly at Campari through the crystal ball.
"You want me to help you cover this up, don't you?" Campari asked with a smile.
"Yes… yes, I'm sorry," Merus admitted apologetically.
"Hah! That's all? Consider it done, no problem," Campari chuckled. But then his expression grew more serious. "I knew Muse's temper was bad. Honestly, he always acted like a petty bully. I figured one day he'd cause trouble… just didn't expect him to provoke you."
Merus didn't know how to respond.
