Chapter 74 - Chapter 74 – Audience with the Supreme Kai

"You don't need to explain that much," Campari said with a smile, lowering his voice to ask, "By the way, you didn't reveal your identity to Mr. Muse, did you?"

"Yes… unless it becomes impossible to hide, my identity will stay concealed," Merus nodded.

"I already know about this. Just focus on your own work," Campari replied casually, grinning. "After all, we're both Angels, aren't we? Angels should help each other out, don't you agree?"

"Well… I was also planning to find a chance to keep Muse's soul with me… or erase his memory," Merus added.

Campari fell silent.

So you went to train with the Galactic Patrol?

Why do I get the feeling you've already planned out your escape route?

"Hah, in that case Lord Mosco is probably going to lose his mind," Campari laughed.

With that, their conversation was essentially settled.

Merus had said all he needed to say, and the call came to an end.

After resolving this complicated matter, Merus withdrew his staff and stepped out of the room.

"We'll be landing in the Supreme Kai's Realm shortly," Merus informed Ken and Broly.

"By the way, if the Supreme Kai acts unreasonable, should we beat him up?" Ken suddenly asked.

Broly cracked his knuckles eagerly, muttering under his breath, "Beat him up!"

Merus: "…"

"Ahem… don't worry. Lord Supreme Kai would never behave unreasonably," Merus quickly assured them.

"That's good," Ken nodded.

Broly, however, looked terribly disappointed.

Merus was speechless.

That expression—were you seriously hoping to fight the Supreme Kai?

"Broly, the one we're about to meet is the greatest god of this universe. You can't go around tearing people in half like before," Ken instructed. "You've already ripped two people apart with your bare hands."

"Heh… thanks for the compliment," Broly scratched his head in embarrassment.

Ken sighed inwardly.

The saying goes: 'You become like those you're closest to.'

This kid Broly… he's becoming more and more like me.

Merus nearly collapsed from exasperation.

Was that really a compliment?

The Supreme Kai's Realm.

The Supreme Kai, Shin, stood gazing into the distant stars, his eyes settling on a blue planet far away.

Through that world, his sight focused on a cliff where a pink, circular seal pulsed faintly.

Sealed within it was a demon.

That demon's name was Majin Buu.

The Supreme Kai often came to check on the seal, making sure nothing was wrong.

So much so that even the fierce battle that had erupted in the divine dimension earlier had gone completely unnoticed by him.

"Lord Supreme Kai, there's no issue with Majin Buu's seal, right?" Kibito stepped forward respectfully.

Kibito was the Supreme Kai's attendant, often regarded as his disciple.

"No issue," Shin replied with a smile.

"Still, the seal of Majin Buu is truly a troublesome matter," Kibito muttered with a small headache.

"Indeed. For now, leaving it on Earth poses no danger. That region is remote and uninhabited, so the seal won't be disturbed," Shin said thoughtfully.

As the two conversed, a spaceship suddenly appeared in the skies above the Supreme Kai's Realm.

Shin's eyes widened.

Kibito was even more shocked, his eyeballs nearly popping out of his sockets.

"This is impossible—absolutely impossible! Am I seeing things? How could a spaceship enter the Realm of the Kais?" Kibito cried out.

"It is indeed… inconceivable," Shin's face grew heavy with concern.

"Who is it? Who could possibly intrude upon the Supreme Kai's Realm?" Kibito tensed, stepping back into a ready stance for battle.

But what puzzled him most was this: how could a spaceship enter the divine realm at all?

This wasn't a place one could simply stroll into.

The spaceship descended slowly and landed steadily on the sacred ground.

"Who are they?" Kibito frowned deeply. "They landed over there. Shall we go take a look, Lord Supreme Kai?"

Shin said nothing, but took to the air at once, coldly watching the ship in the distance.

Then he realized—the design of the spaceship looked oddly familiar.

"I feel like I've seen it somewhere before," he murmured.

Creak!

The hatch of the ship opened.

Merus stepped out first.

Ken and Broly followed behind.

Ken had wanted to remain inside his robot and step out that way, but Merus stopped him.

He had explained: they were here to pay respects to the greatest god of this universe—the Supreme Kai himself.

It would be rude to appear in a machine.

Reluctantly, Ken agreed and left the robot behind in the ship.

"That outfit… it looks like the Galactic Patrol's uniform, Lord Supreme Kai," Kibito quickly noticed.

"Yes, but the two children behind him look like members of Frieza's army," Shin analyzed.

"They could be Saiyans," Kibito added quickly, confused. "But why would Saiyans be with a Galactic Patrolman?"

"We'll soon find out. They must be here to see me," Shin said with a confident smile.

Kibito said no more.

Merus, already aware of their presence, led Ken and Broly forward.

The two newcomers looked around curiously at the scenery, their eyes filled with wonder.

"This is the divine realm?" Broly asked Ken.

"That's right. This is the divine realm. Feel the air—doesn't it seem especially fresh?" Ken replied.

Broly took a deep breath and nodded vigorously.

Ken, too, gained a new appreciation of the realm.

The Supreme Kai's Realm carried an incredibly soothing atmosphere.

If such a thing as spiritual energy existed in this world, then this realm had the densest energy Ken had ever seen.

Even the wild grass and flowers here grew lush and vibrant.

"Should we take it?" Broly suggested.

Merus nearly tripped over himself upon hearing that.

You really dare to think of anything.

"It's worth considering," Ken said thoughtfully.

Merus almost broke down on the spot.

Why are you encouraging this nonsense?

At last, Merus brought them directly before the Supreme Kai.

"Greetings, Lord Supreme Kai," Merus bowed respectfully.

Ken didn't move.

Broly, seeing Ken standing tall, straightened up as well.
