"Do you despise me now that I'm engaged to your mother?" He asked and I scoffed.
"I'd have to have liked you before I can despise you," I said. "We made no promises and had no relationship. So this can't be considered betrayal and certainly no reason for me to despise you. So... Don't flatter yourself." I sternly said, but he grabbed his chest, taking the situation as a joke, and exclaimed.
"Wow, that really hit my chest hard. I didn't expect you to be so bitter with words." He said and leaned closer. "My bunny has a sharp tongue, it seems. But even that is adorable,"
"Don't say 'my'. I'm not yours." I boldly declared, even when my body had begun to scream at me because of how close he was and how much I could smell his cologne.
Same scent as that night.
It intoxicated me.
I clenched my fists, trying to stay rational.
