Doctor Strange's magic radiance collided violently with the dark energy rebounding into Saitama, producing a harsh hiss—like cold water splashing into boiling oil! That sticky, bone-chilling darkness met its natural nemesis. Under the purification of white magic, it rapidly melted away and retreated!
The black flood wrapping Saitama visibly weakened. That powerful dragging and corrosive sensation instantly lightened!
"Thanks, Doc." Saitama felt his body loosen, and he immediately seized the fleeting opening! The power that had been suppressed surged again!
"Break—!!!"
He roared low, the fist pressed against the crystal erupting with a second burst of strength!
Rumble—rumble—rumble—!!!
This time, there was no resistance! The black crystal, already riddled with cracks, could no longer withstand the terrifying force attacking it from within and without—
Boom!
It detonated!
Like a supernova going off!
The instant the black crystal exploded, an indescribable tidal wave of dark energy swept outward in a catastrophic surge! It wasn't a normal blast shockwave—it was pure energy annihilation and release! Saitama and Doctor Strange, who had just finished casting, were swallowed in an instant by the furious black tsunami!
"Caref—!" Doctor Strange reacted at lightning speed. With a sharp pull of both hands, Serafin no Tate (Seraphim Shield) shrank in a flash, transforming into a spherical golden barrier that wrapped both him and Saitama inside!
Boom—!!!
The black tsunami slammed into the golden dome with an ear-splitting roar! The barrier shook violently, its surface runes flashing crazily, brightening and dimming as if it might shatter at any moment.
Inside the barrier, Strange let out a muffled grunt. A trace of blood spilled from the corner of his mouth—he was clearly bearing immense pressure.
Outside the barrier, the world seemed muted, then drained into black and white. Pure darkness devoured all light and sound. Rampaging energy currents turned into billions of blades, carving through space like madness.
The dark monsters that were closer—no matter how strong or weak—faced the "mother source" of their ultimate power and didn't even have time to scream before they were instantly vaporized!
Farther away, Spider-Man and the S.H.I.E.L.D. squad only felt an unstoppable hurricane of destruction rush toward them head-on! Spider-Man's spider-sense shrieked like an alarm. Almost purely on instinct, he fired every web-shooter at the ground and surrounding debris, anchoring himself as hard as he could—while shielding the two closest agents tightly behind him.
Coulson's people grabbed onto anything that could hold. In the face of something this astronomical, their energy weapons were completely useless.
The shockwave swept through!
Everyone was like fallen leaves in a tempest, hurled violently away—slamming into the twisted space boundary or the energy barrier. It felt like their organs had been knocked out of place.
A few seconds later, that apocalyptic black tsunami finally began to subside and disperse.
But the vortex space didn't return to calm.
It fell into an even more eerie, suffocating dead silence.
Crack… crack…
The sound of breaking returned—but this time it didn't come from the crystal.
It came from the vortex space itself!
At the very center of the crystal's explosion, the space split open like shattered glass, tearing into a massive, jagged breach. Inside the breach was darkness even deeper and purer than the surrounding void—as if it connected to the universe's final abyss!
Roar!!!
"Hiss—!!!"
