Chapter 236 - Chapter 236

A shrill, city-shaking scream burst from Elder Centipede, shockwaves cracking nearby buildings.

Green blood sprayed.

Its own limbs pierced through its body, stabbing gaping holes in its carapace. The agony broke Helen's Mind Stone control, letting it regain awareness.

Without hesitation, it fled.

Dragging its mangled frame, bleeding heavily, Elder Centipede burrowed away faster than before.

"Oh? Self-harm to escape the Mind Stone. Clever," Helen said softly, eyes calm as she watched. "But the ending remains the same."

Her brow flared like a third eye.

A golden beam lanced forth, overtaking Elder Centipede.

High above, the beast thought its heart would burst from terror. Phasing, mind control, now this—its mind reeled. It had nearly walked to its own execution. Now it understood why its subordinates became slaves.

Too terrifying.

It had to live. It had to warn the Monster Association.

But then it saw something ahead.

A massive armored body, identical to its own—except its head was gone, a charred stump.

"Is that... me?!"

Its last thought.

BOOM!

Elder Centipede split apart, fragments crashing down in ruin. Dead.

Yet unnoticed, several pale centipede bones sank quietly underground.

"Dead... a dragon upper-class?" Metal Bat swallowed hard, barely able to grip his weapon.

This woman... horrifying.

At Association HQ, the room erupted.

"The great centipede... dead!"

"That was dragon upper! This woman could rank top ten in S-Class!"

"Too powerful—find her at once. We must recruit her!"

Even Bond, usually calm, inhaled sharply, shaken.

Elsewhere, Fubuki pouted watching the feed. "Hmph. Barely decent."

Mosquito Girl Christina smiled gracefully. "She's impressive... but Helen won't see Saitama today."

The sofa was empty. The bald man had stepped out.

Hospital room.

Charanko, Bang's disciple, lay in bed with a broken leg.

"You entered the Super Martial Arts Tournament... and now can't compete?" Saitama asked.

Charanko grimaced. "Yeah. And I'm the only one left from Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist. I wanted to uphold the dojo's honor... but forget it. Just throw the ticket away. The prize was fifty million yen..."

At that number, Saitama's eyes widened.

"...I'll go then. Since you asked. Fifty million's fifty million." He took the ticket with a sigh.

Meanwhile—

On a street lined with food stalls, Metal Gorilla in an apron shouted, "Takoyaki! Best in town! Money back if you don't like it!"

The Evolution House monsters—Metal Gorilla, Frog Man, Armored Rat—ran stalls under Banner's orders. Free labor couldn't be wasted.

"Oh? Humans and monsters coexisting? Only the House of Evolution could manage this. Hello, I'm Helen, Saitama-sensei's student."

Metal Gorilla froze, dazzled by her beauty. "Ah... hello..."

"Take me to your doctor."

Obedient, it led her to the base.

Along the way, monsters like Beast King appeared—but ghost-level meant nothing. The Mind Stone bent them instantly.

Inside, Bruce Banner looked up, shocked.

"Helen Cho?! Incredible... I never thought I'd see someone from Marvel's world here."

They knew each other—two top-tier genetic scientists with shared history.

Helen shared everything through the Mind Stone.

"So, you're Saitama's disciple now. Fortunate indeed... I'm glad you survived," Banner said warmly.

Helen smiled. "Sensei went to the martial arts tournament. But I sense heavy malice nearby. I'll need backup."

Her Mind Stone let her read countless thoughts at once. She foresaw unrest during the event.

Banner nodded. "Name your partner. Metal Gorilla? Beast King? Rat? Frog? Or..." His gaze flicked nervously, almost adoring.

"That one," Helen said, smiling—at the massive Carnage Kabuto devouring food.
