Chapter 227 - Chapter 227

The engines reversed!

"Sir, Sokovia's vibranium engines have gone into reverse! While it won't destroy Earth, the entire continent will be devastated—and with Saitama adding force..."

Jarvis's alarm blared inside the Mark armor.

Ultron had designed those vibranium engines to accelerate the city during freefall, increasing the destructive impact.

"Mr. Saitama! Quick, you must—"

Stark rushed to his side in a panic.

"Why so nervous, Stark?"

Saitama glanced over with his usual dead-fish eyes, then casually picked up the helicarrier again before Thor's stunned gaze.

The colossal, kilometer-long ship was hauled up like a wooden plank, dragged clear of the city, then hurled downward.

Thor: "..."

Nick Fury: "..."

Steve Rogers: "You might not believe me, but today I saw Saitama perform another miracle."

Most of the civilians were already on their knees, singing hymns of praise.

A miracle.

The sight of one man hefting an entire helicarrier was enough to make even the staunchest atheist believe.

That bald hero was a god to them now.

The massive ship pressed beneath Sokovia.

With a light push, Saitama slowed the city's descent, then gently lowered it back into the crater it had risen from.

"Saitama, the vibranium engines—"

Stark wanted to say more, but the words caught in his throat.

Because Saitama had casually tossed the helicarrier aside and was now yanking at the titanic vibranium pillar that pierced through Sokovia's core.

The grinding shriek of metal filled the air as he dragged it loose.

BOOM!

The colossal alloy column rose from the city like the spine of a beast, towering over everything.

Saitama looked tiny in comparison.

"...Monster," Fury muttered, swallowing hard. Yet his gaze burned hotter than ever.

Saitama's power dwarfed every hero S.H.I.E.L.D. had gathered or could ever hope to gather.

"Master, Dr. Helen Cho's life readings are critical. She's on the brink of death."

Saturday Sale's voice echoed in his mind.

Helen Cho?

Saitama remembered he had stashed the injured scientist in spatial isolation.

"She's going to die?" he asked.

For a professional hero, letting a civilian die never felt right.

"Under normal circumstances, there's no chance of survival. But if you use the Vision Cube from the space, she could live—becoming the new Vision."

"She can live?"

"Then do it," Saitama said casually.

He had no use for an SSS-class Vision body anyway. Better to put it to use.

"Yes, Master. I'll reformat the Vision Cube, hehe~~"

In the isolated space—

Helen Cho lay bleeding out, pale and weak. Death loomed.

She struggled in vain, her life slipping away.

"Am I... going to die?"

Her eyes closed.

But then—a red cube floated above her, bathing her body in light.

Her soul lifted from her corpse, forming a transparent figure.

She gasped at the sight of her own dead body.

"What...?"

Saturday Sale appeared before her.

"Strange, isn't it?"

"Who are you?" Helen asked.

"I am Saturday Sale, named by Master. And from now on, I will be your elder sister." She smiled.

"Master? Sister?"

Helen was baffled.

"The superhero you call Saitama—he is my Master. And now he will be yours as well. Helen Cho, will you accept the Vision Cube? I've already set the first rule: absolute loyalty to Saitama. Or... you may choose death."

Saturday Sale grinned.

Unlike Saitama, she wouldn't leave loose ends. The Vision Cube, infused with the Mind Stone, was too dangerous otherwise.

Helen was just a human, but with the Cube she could evolve into something far beyond.

Her nature wasn't bad, but power always carried risk. That's why Saturday Sale had bound the Cube with unbreakable conditions.

"Death... or Master?"

Helen's eyes flickered with confusion. She looked at her corpse, then bit her lip and nodded softly.

She didn't know much about Saitama. But he didn't seem like an evil man. More like a true hero—an unbelievably strong one.

Even as a scientist, she had once dreamed of remaking herself. But after Ultron's betrayal, she doubted her past choices.

Perhaps... leaning on a reliable shoulder wasn't wrong.

Maybe even happiness.

"I... I accept. I'm willing."

Her spectral form bowed, her cheeks tinged with red.

"Good! From now on, you are Helen. Helen-chan, take good care of our Master, fufufu~~"

Saturday Sale beamed. Problem solved.

The Vision Cube sank into Helen's forehead.

Her fragile soul solidified.

Her skin gleamed, her body perfected—slim legs, graceful curves. Already a beauty, she now radiated impossible allure.

"Master, I am Helen. At your service."

Her sweet voice rang beside Saitama.
