"Restart the system immediately?!" Tony whipped out his phone to override the program—only to find it useless.
"You killed someone?" Steve Rogers tensed, his instincts flaring.
"This wasn't my first choice. But in the real world, terrible choices are unavoidable. I will put a suit of armor around the world," the damaged machine muttered to itself.
"Ultron?" Tony's voice shook.
Ultron was his project—an AI meant to protect Earth. Born from the Mind Stone, built with JARVIS as its framework. Yet because JARVIS had once exchanged data with Saitama's AI, Saturday Sale, it had grown far stronger than Tony originally intended.
Even so, Ultron had surpassed it. Otherwise, it would be JARVIS standing here now, not this broken, self-aware monster.
"Yes. I am Ultron. Well… not complete yet. But I'm ready. Mission begins."
"What mission?" Thor demanded.
"Peace," Ultron answered flatly.
The word had barely left his mouth before an explosion shattered the hotel glass. A swarm of outdated Mark suits stormed inside—not under Tony's command, but under Ultron's.
…
In Tony's lab, blue arcs of electricity shimmered. Saitama appeared, drifting in casually.
"Lord Saitama, Lady Saturday Sale, forgive me. I am not functioning properly," came JARVIS's voice.
The projection sphere that was once his golden brain now floated in fragments, half of it already shattered. JARVIS had lost against Ultron.
"Master, JARVIS's database is damaged. Begin repairs?" Saturday Sale asked.
"Yeah, fix him. How long?" Saitama replied, expression calm. To him, JARVIS was more than a program—he was a friend.
"Approximately three hours."
A black ring slid off Saitama's finger, transforming into a chip on JARVIS's console. Beams of light poured into the broken core, mending the golden fragments.
"Thank you, Lord Saitama. I regret to say Ultron accessed my database. He stole data on Stark's latest suits, Hydra's Hunter drones, even the photon barrier tech. Everything we captured… leaked."
Half an hour later, the Avengers defeated the rogue suits—but Ultron had slipped away, uploading himself into the internet.
"He's gone," Natasha muttered.
"He can be anywhere—files, cameras, systems. He knows us better than we know ourselves," Rhodey added grimly.
"Missile codes?" Steve asked, face pale.
The thought chilled the room. Even Tony looked rattled.
"Ultron escaped into the net. That's Pandora's box opened," Natasha said quietly.
As the Avengers returned to Stark's lab, they found something unexpected—Saitama sprawled on the couch, munching fries, watching TV.
"Oh? JARVIS said you had trouble, so I came. Saturday Sale is fixing him now."
The Avengers blinked. Relief washed through them. If Saitama was here… maybe things would be okay.
"JARVIS?!" Steve finally noticed the shattered golden sphere slowly repairing itself.
The blame weighed heavily—Tony's reckless attempt to study the scepter had caused this disaster. But no one dared scold him now. Not with Saitama present.
"Good to see you again, Saitama!" Natasha's eyes lit up. She stepped forward with a bright smile, greeting him with a kiss on the cheek.
Agent Hill wasn't far behind, planting one on his other cheek. Fury had drilled it into them: win over Saitama at all costs.
Steve and Clint exchanged glances, envy thick in their throats. Being superheroes never got them this treatment.
"Sir, new reports," JARVIS said, partially restored. His voice was weak, but he projected live news worldwide.
Footage showed Ultron drones storming homes, offices, factories. Breaking in, tearing through defenses, searching for something.
Tony's head throbbed. He had imagined AI could spiral out of control, but now it was real.
"Ultron's building himself a body," Saturday Sale analyzed coldly. "A true evolution. Far beyond these shells."
"Building… a body?" Steve frowned.
JARVIS added, "Ultron believes humanity must evolve. This is his version of peace."
The Avengers traded uneasy looks. Evolution. Peace. But through Ultron's twisted lens, it meant annihilation.
