Chapter 161 - Chapter 161: Clearly Could Live by Talent, Yet Chooses to Rely on Fists!

"You?!"

Killian stared at Saitama in shock.

That punch just now—his body now stood at a towering twenty-three meters!

He was certain, even a U.S. battleship would've been shattered into two pieces.

But Saitama… had stopped it with one hand?

Not even the slightest strain on his face. To Killian, it felt like striking unyielding steel, impossible to push any further.

Impossible!

"You…"

"You're disappointing. I thought you might be decent. Well… S-class power, not bad I suppose."

Saitama shook his head.

His fingers tightened slightly.

And dug in.

The so-called indestructible body meant nothing before him.

With one violent wrench—

Boom—

Flesh tore apart with a dull crack. Blood sprayed, accompanied by Killian's scream.

Seven or eight meters of his massive arm was ripped clean off.

Saitama tossed it aside casually.

Splash!

It hit the sea, boiling the water red.

The whole process looked as ordinary as drinking water to the bald hero.

"Impossible! No! My power is already strong enough! Why!!"

Killian roared like a maddened beast, torn arm rapidly sprouting molten flesh and regenerating.

In mere breaths, a new arm had grown.

"Oh? So you can regenerate?"

Saitama rubbed his chin.

But this wasn't the same Saitama from the One Punch world—this was a Saitama who had experienced multiple Marvel cycles.

Just that previous Intelligence +1 had already made him smarter.

And he now possessed biological gene tech beyond even Bruce Banner.

Of course—this bald slacker simply couldn't be bothered using it.

When your fists are strong enough—

Why bother with tactics?

No need for strategy, schemes, or fancy tricks. Just roll up your sleeves and punch.

That's enough. Don't talk to him about plots or strategies!

He could live off his talent, sure—

But he preferred relying on fists!

Who cares about regeneration, or endless growth?

Sparks arced in the air.

Saitama vanished from sight.

Killian, just finishing his regeneration, froze.

"Where is he?"

Tentacles surged upward from the sea, wrapping around him like a monstrous flower, sealing him inside.

Only his panicked face was left visible.

"Hey, look here. Say cheese."

Boom.

Saitama's voice echoed from above.

"You?!"

Killian raised his head in horror.

A crimson fist filled his vision, swelling larger and larger.

In that moment—

Even with his twenty-three meter body, he felt small. Powerless.

Impossible!

He was an apex Extremis creature! A king atop the food chain!

Not even the so-called superheroes could match him—let alone this man.

"Die!!"

Killian roared, all his tentacles converging into a blinding beam of light.

Hum~~~

A ten-meter-wide pillar of energy engulfed Saitama.

Hiss!

It was over!

This was heat exceeding ten thousand degrees!

Even Stark's strongest armor would melt to ash.

No living thing could withstand it. Killian himself couldn't stand against it.

But Saitama's eyes stayed calm, gazing into the beam.

He'd seen this too many times.

Like a max-level player strolling into the newbie village—

Some level 9 kid casting his strongest spell, thinking he could challenge a level 80 veteran.

"Sigh."

He exhaled lightly.

His fist gleamed, force undiminished.

The beam felt like nothing more than a warm onsen bath—pleasant, soothing.

It couldn't scratch him.

Normal Punch!

Boom—

An earth-shaking strike!

The beam shattered into fragments.

Killian's twenty-three-meter body was pierced through, head to toe, by a single punch!

The sea beneath exploded into a bottomless abyss.

Water roared and crashed inward, the noise deafening.

Broken tentacles scattered across the waves. Killian himself—gone.

Nothing left but scraps.

Few foes could ever remain whole under the bald hero's fist.

Even holding back, he couldn't resist annihilation.

Saitama sighed, glancing at the remains.

He had wanted to take some squid back—supporting Doctor Kis… and Banner's little food stand venture.

"Shame. So much takoyaki wasted. If I had a fridge, I could've eaten for weeks… but fridges waste too much power. Best to eat fast. If Genos were here, it'd help."

He grabbed a few squid chunks and ate without hesitation.

Only someone like him could stomach monster meat.

Other heroes would vomit.

Kaido was known as the most terrifying omnivore in the universe—but if he saw this, he'd have nightmares for life.

"Mm… so full… I can't eat another bite."

Patting his round belly, Saitama burped.

Two monster meals back to back—

He was stuffed.

What a waste. Such a pity.

A cheapskate's instinct never dies.

"Damn you! I'll kill you, Saitama!! I'll kill you!!"

As Saitama enjoyed his meal—

The sea rumbled with Killian's voice, deep and terrifying.

Across kilometers, every drop of squid-tainted water boiled.

From the depths rose a colossal figure—

Killian again!

This time—dozens of cloned Killian-octopus monstrosities surrounded Saitama.

Each one as massive as before.

Each radiating savage, violent aura.

The bald hero stood like the lone dish in a boiling hotpot—

Killian's monsters the roaring flames all around.

"Thank you, Saitama! You can't kill me! I'm a true genius! Do you know water bears? Tardigrades? You've killed me so many times—"

"Combined with the squid's replication ability, I just keep multiplying! As long as I'm in the ocean, as long as I can drink water—the tardigrade gene keeps me alive!"

"Unless you drain the entire ocean dry, I am immortal! You'll die here!!"

Killian's laughter shook the sea.

All around, his clones rose from the water, more terrifying than ever, far beyond Marvel's original history.

[Absorption Regeneration] and [Extremis Replication]—two powers that made him nearly invincible.

"Tardigrade genes, huh? Sounds impressive. Drain the ocean dry? Guess… that's not impossible."

Saitama rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
