On the starship.
The octopus in the control room wasn't even worth mentioning. Not to mention Tornado and Blizzard, both of whom had already entered berserk states. The real problem was… a certain bald hero's earlier threat that still echoed in its head like thunder. Pitiful octopus—among Boros's three top officers, surely the most miserable one. Left with no choice.
In the throne room—the office of Boros himself.
Boom—! Explosions rocked endlessly.
Boros, in his battle state, revealed terrifying might. With a single step, the alloy floor shattered beneath him, his speed reaching extremes, matching Saitama in his base form.
The corner of his mouth curled with confidence and excitement.
The two of them clashed like twin beams of light streaking through the starship's dense halls, exchanging blows.
Saitama even took a clean punch—sent crashing through nineteen thick alloy bulkheads before stopping.
Mark this moment!
The one monster in the entire universe to ever knock Saitama back!
Boros—the pride of monsters!
The most inspirational, most tragic pride of all villains!
Boom—! Their power tore open the ship itself, blasting outside into space.
"Hahahaha! To think someone could match me, Boros, blow for blow! You're the first!" Boros roared with laughter, glowing brighter, every strange marking on his body flaring with brilliance.
"The mighty energy within me—unleash!"
From his chest, a massive energy sphere erupted, engulfing Saitama, obliterating all it touched. The alloy walls crumbled instantly, flames exploding outward, lighting the skies above the starship.
In the flames—
Saitama stood there blankly, dead fish eyes unshaken.
"Behind you!"
Boom—! Boros's hook smashed into Saitama's face, the impact kicking up a hurricane, metal wreckage scattering backward. Saitama's body leaned aside as if nailed in place, still intact except for scorched clothing.
"Good impact! Seems victory is mine! For us, what leaves you on the brink of death is nothing more than a drizzle!" Boros sneered, his severed arm already regenerating in a burst of flesh and bone.
"Enough of the chatter, are you done yet?"
Saitama's dead fish eyes looked at him, utterly weary, disillusioned.
Boros froze. That lifeless gaze stabbed at his pride like a blade.
As the undefeated overlord of the universe, Boros felt his dignity burn.
Flames of rage surged, every vein glowing.
"Of course… it's not over!" he bellowed, muscles tensing, every cell screaming.
His body erupted in red lightning, wrapped in surging energy. The ship quaked violently, alloy decks crumbling like powder.
"Meteor Burst—!"
With a furious roar, Boros vanished. Red streaks lingered in the air. His speed—light itself.
Boom—!
Saitama barely twitched. Boros was already in his face, fist descending.
A crimson beam erupted from his punch, swallowing Saitama whole, cutting the starship clean in half, blasting off into the void.
The starship exploded, burning wreckage scattering into the endless sky.
Then Boros attacked again. Boom boom boom boom! Light-speed barrages, each punch nuclear in power, enough to destroy a city.
Saitama was pummeled like a sandbag, thrown around endlessly, every clash flattening parts of the colossal starship.
"By releasing the energy in my body as propulsion, I surpass biological limits! This speed, this power—!" Boros laughed manically as he pounded Saitama hundreds of times, kicking him dozens more.
A final crimson blast launched Saitama into the heavens, so fast it could've hurled him to the moon.
No villain in the universe could boast this feat. Only Boros.
Panting heavily, Boros sneered. "Finally… finished. To endure so many of my strikes… impressive. But it's over."
"Oh? What are you looking at?"
A calm, flat voice came from behind him.
Boros spun. His lone eye widened in shock.
Saitama.
The bald hero stood behind him, unharmed. Boros followed his gaze. The crimson blast's aftershock had gouged a crater into the moon itself. Yet Saitama stood here.
Space Stone contract power. He had simply stepped through a door behind Boros.
"So strong… so strong… then I'll wager everything!" Boros's eye blazed with madness and resolve.
"Raaaghhh!"
Like a raging beast, he roared, charging again. Attacks at light speed, fists shattering the air.
Boom boom boom—!
But a single red fist broke through his barrage.
Saitama's punch struck his abdomen, blasting Boros backward like a cannonball, crashing through ruins, coughing blood.
"Yes! That's it! Only like this does it matter! Only like this does defeating you mean anything, Saitama!!" Boros shrieked, his wounds regenerating, bloodshot eye blazing.
Saitama sighed, looking at him with disappointment.
"Consecutive Normal Punches."
