Staring at that freshly polished, spotless dome—without even a single hair falling—Atomic Samurai felt a sour pang in his chest. Was this guy a monster? That full-force slash he'd just unleashed… hadn't even broken the skin?
Saitama and his companion had just left Child Emperor's lab when they realized something was wrong—still not too late.
"Oh? Lots of arms." Saitama rubbed his chin, tilting his head at the many-headed mud monster Melzargard and muttering to himself.
"We have to stop that starship. If there's another barrage, the whole city's done for, Saitama," Steel Knight said in a low voice.
"Then this mud guy's yours. I'm going up."
Saitama nodded lightly and hopped—soaring several thousand meters as casually as taking a stroll. Aerial combat no longer had any way to hold back the teacher's power!
Watching Saitama's back recede into the sky, then looking at Melzargard's attack getting hard-blocked by that single leap, Atomic Samurai tasted bitterness. Hell—was his presence really that negligible? Those two didn't even look at him.
"Bruce Banner! That one's my opponent! Don't get cocky…!" Atomic Samurai felt he had to claw some face back.
Boom! Melzargard's giant arm turned into a great axe and hacked down on Hulk's shoulder. Blood spattered. The ground under the three of them split and collapsed. A blow that could level buildings was… jammed in place by Hulk's shoulder muscles. Hurt only made the monster madder.
"Roooar—!"
Like a beast, Hulk clamped onto Melzargard's arm and delivered a huge German suplex.
Rumble—
Ruins caved in one after another. Under Atomic Samurai and Iaian's stunned gazes, Hulk pounced with a tiger's roar. Even with Melzargard's absurd regeneration, Hulk's unending, astonishment-inducing punches forced him into a grotesque loop—shattered, reform, shattered again—pinned and unable to rise.
Feeling the ground quake, hearing the once-arrogant Melzargard now scream in terror, Atomic Samurai and Iaian both felt their scalps prickle.
"Saitama?! Hmph! Baldy, wait for me!"
As Saitama reached midair, a familiar, imperious voice rang out—Tornado had arrived. Silver Fang and the other S-Class heroes lacked air combat ability and could only handle the ground.
"Oh? Tornado." Saitama stopped.
"I'm going with you. I want to see what these aliens actually look like, hey!"
Hands on hips in full tsundere mode: take me or else.
"Figures it's me too!"
A streak of emerald light—Hell Fubuki had arrived. The sisters locked eyes and, as if by magic, reached an instant tacit understanding—clearly planning to stick to him.
"…Fine. Sigh."
Saitama scratched his head helplessly. He always wanted to keep a low profile. But his strength wouldn't allow it! Other people brought one blade to fight monsters; he… also brought blades—two of them! Heh heh…
The three quickly reached the warship. Despite its vast size, monsters were sparse—only scattered patrols. Before Saitama could act, Tornado and Fubuki's terrifying telekinesis howled forth. The unlucky creatures didn't even have time to scream before being crushed into blood mist.
Saitama: "…"
If he'd known, he wouldn't have brought them. There was zero room to shine.
They practically cleared out almost all the monsters aboard.
"Oh? This one won't open either."
At last, the trio stopped before a super-alloy door.
Saitama grabbed the handle and shouted, "Hey! Open up in there! You've got guests!"
Crack—
Maybe he used a bit too much force—the entire door, frame and all, came out in his hand.
Saitama: I swear… wasn't on purpose.
In the main control room, the purple octopus Geryuganshoop was watching the monitors.
"Gah?!"
Sweat beaded on his glossy octopus head; his eyes bulged as a chill ran down his back. Something was… off. That door—was his door.
Boom!
The torn door slab thundered across the room and embedded itself in the wall.
"Feels like we broke into someone's house…"
Saitama glanced around at the bank of monitors and precision instruments. A huge purple octopus—looked like these were the ones who'd ordered those barrages.
"Protect Lord Geryuganshoop!"
"Invade our ship's forbidden zone? Kill them!"
"Take them down!"
They rushed forward, grotesque alien shapes.
Boom—
A terrifying wave of emerald telekinesis swept over them like a tsunami, turning them to blood mist on the spot. Tornado floated in midair, hands on her hips, chin tilted arrogantly.
"Hmph! Weaklings like this think they can invade Earth?"
"Damn it! A telekinetic?"
Geryuganshoop's expression twisted. His head swelled like a charged bulb, spitting sparks of light.
"To look down on our ship—to forget I, Lord Geryuganshoop, serve under Lord Boros as one of his strongest! The universe's mightiest psychokinetic! I'll grind you into dust and show you what telekinesis truly is!"
His voice fell—
A monstrous pulse rippled out. Gravity spiked nearly a hundredfold! The super-alloy floor crazed and collapsed. Even the little tsundere floating in the air, Tornado, grunted and had to drop to the deck, emerald force tightly cocooning her. A rare trace of strain touched her pretty face.
"Ahahahahaha—! See? I'm not one of you Earth weaklings. Under my super telekinesis, even black holes give way. Your little parlor tricks are nowhere near enough!"
The whole ship shuddered. Surviving monsters fled in terror.
Then—crack—BOOM.
A crisp note cut through. A telekinetic force no weaker than Tornado's surged up—Hell Fubuki! Her dark-blue hair fluttered as her power intertwined with Tornado's—together forcing back Geryuganshoop's violet field, inch by inch!
Space itself fissured with thin black cracks, popping faintly under the titanic clash.
Geryuganshoop's breath hitched. One of Boros's elite—being held off by two Earth women?
He glanced at the bald, dead-eyed man still standing casually… and his rage-twisted face went rigid.
