Back at the villa.
Saturday Sale lay against Saitama, of course, only when Fubuki wasn't around.
She was charging.
At the same time, the Z-City disaster report reached Hero Association headquarters, causing a huge stir.
"You mean… S-Class Rank 5, Cyborg Genos, intercepted the meteor? And no civilians were killed by the explosion?"
Bang and Sweet Mask were stunned as they read the statistics.
"It seems we underestimated Genos. Update the rankings based on this activity."
One of the stern executives suggested.
"And… yesterday a new hero named Saturday Sale appeared. Her results…"
A staffer nervously handed over the documents.
When the three top executives saw her physical and written test scores, their eyes widened in disbelief.
Double-S results. Flawless.
She even broke every testing record—faster than even Bruce Banner by nearly three hundred seconds.
The strongest rookie test results in history.
"…We'll need to reconsider the rankings carefully."
They dismissed the staff, all with heavy expressions.
Monster appearances were increasing.
But now, super rookies were also rising… all tied to one bald man.
Meanwhile, Saitama enjoyed his days.
Sunshine. Drama marathons. Snacks. Naps.
Fubuki played the role of housewife.
Saturday Sale quickly adapted, even playing games with them.
The three of them lazed together, carefree.
Ding dong~~~
The doorbell rang.
Saturday Sale, now in casual clothes, went to answer it.
Inside, Saitama and Fubuki, dressed in a black-and-white maid outfit, sat cross-legged gaming on the tatami.
"Hello, is this Saitama's residence?"
At the door stood a beautiful woman in a small suit, black-rimmed glasses, scoring nine out of ten in looks—Sykes, the glasses girl who once oversaw Saitama and Banner's exam.
"Please come in, Master, she's here for you."
Saturday Sale politely welcomed her.
"Saitama-san, this is the latest hero ranking update, and a hero certificate for Miss Saturday Sale."
Sykes smiled sweetly, eyes lingering on Saitama with a faint, almost yearning look.
"Thanks."
Saitama accepted the papers, then had Saturday Sale see her out.
He unfolded the documents:
S-Class Rank 1: Tornado of Terror
S-Class Rank 2: Saitama
S-Class Rank 3: Silver Fang
S-Class Rank 4: Bruce Banner
S-Class Rank 5: Cyborg Genos
S-Class Rank 6: Child Emperor
S-Class Rank 7: Atomic Samurai
S-Class Rank 8: Superalloy Darkshine
S-Class Rank 9: Watchdog Man
S-Class Rank 10: Hell Fubuki
S-Class Rank 11: Sweet Mask
S-Class Rank 12: Saturday Sale
"Genos went up in rank. Not bad. And Saturday Sale, you're just two ranks below Fubuki now."
Saitama mused.
Then—
"Huh? What's this invitation?"
A letter slipped out. On it: Monster Association Invitation.
"You heard of this?" Saitama asked.
Fubuki shook her head, though something about Sykes felt off. Her psychic senses tingled, cloaked in unease.
"Whatever, probably some dumb group. Anyway, haven't seen Bruce lately. Let's check on him."
Saitama yawned, tearing the letter apart.
Z-City. Food street.
"Fresh takoyaki! Buy now, don't miss out!"
A gorilla in an apron yelled, flipping skewers.
Behind him, Beast King roared, only to be scolded like a puppy by a scrawny chef. Children even climbed onto his shoulders for photos.
Nearby, Bruce Banner himself manned a grill, smiling.
Yes. The Hulk had found his second spring—selling street food.
And not alone.
He had partnered with Dr. Genus, the ex-mad scientist, now poor and running a takoyaki stall.
By day, they sold food. By night, they worked on bioengineering in secret.
Even Metal Knight's creations leaned on Banner's insights now.
"Don't worry. This time our takoyaki will conquer the whole street!"
Genus said excitedly.
But then his eyes caught a shadowy figure in the crowd… and he froze.
