Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: A Colorful Swim

It was a lovely day at the beach. The enjoyable warm weather, clear bright blue sky, and the soft cooling breeze that lifts one's hair gently upwards could be felt. It was a perfect day to go diving. Freminet loved to come diving on warm days, as usually the sea otters swim towards the top of the ocean to enjoy the warmth of the water.

Freminet brought his change of clothes and other items he needed to the beach, and found a spot in the sand to place his belongings. He was wearing his diving suit, fitted perfectly around his thin and toned body. He looked up at the sun, illuminating his dark blue icey eyes and his radiant light blonde hair. He enjoyed the warmth, but more importantly, he was excited about diving into the ocean. He grabbed his diving helmet and adjusted it onto his head before swimming out into the ocean.

The water was warm and the tide was calm, which made swimming in the ocean easy and enjoyable, as sometimes the water could be quite cold and the tides could be rather vicious. As Freminet was swimming, he noticed a few happy sea otters that came to greet him. They swam around him in a circle, even brining him a seashell from their own collection. He patted their heads before swimming onward towards his destination for the day. He swam to the coral reef where he was greeted by a school of fish and the vibrant colors of the coral. It was one of the most beautiful features of the ocean, he thought. He took out a miniature underwater camera he had brought into his pocket and took a few pictures of the surrounding fish and the bright coral. He smiled to himself, feeling satisfied.

He kept swimming around more, taking a detour from his planned spot for the day. There were many species of creatures, many of which fascinated Freminet a lot. He wanted to study more about Fontaine water creatures, so grabbing some pictures of these creatures he had never seen before would benefit his research. He took some pictures of the creatures passing by and continued on his way.
