The day of Maddie's title ceremony arrived – a crisp, sunny morning in London.
Maddie woke up early in their townhouse, feeling like a princess in a fairytale. Her hair stylist and makeup artist arrived promptly at 7 am.
While Maddie got ready, Xander played with Henry and Victoria in the living room. He wore a tailored black tuxedo, his prince title fitting perfectly.
The Queen's lady-in-waiting, Lady Sarah, arrived at 9 am sharp.
"Good morning, Maddie dear. Her Majesty sent me to escort you to the palace. Your carriage awaits – white horses and all!"
Maddie gasped as she descended the stairs in her stunning gown:
* A bespoke, strapless white dress with intricate lace and subtle sparkle
* Her hair styled in loose, elegant waves
* Makeup accentuating her natural beauty
Xander's jaw dropped. Henry and Victoria cheered, "Mommy, pretty!"
Lady Sarah smiled. "You look breathtaking, Maddie. Shall we proceed to the palace?"
At the Throne Room entrance, Maddie's father, Jack Taylor, waited – beaming with pride.
* He walked Maddie down the aisle towards the royal family and their guests
* Xander stood beside his parents, King Henry and Queen Elizabeth
* Henry and Victoria sat in the front row with Maddie's mother, Emily Taylor
The Archbishop of Canterbury began the ceremony:
"Today, we gather to bestow upon Maddie Taylor the noble title of Duchess of Windsor...Does anyone object to this union of love and title?"
Silence fell. The Archbishop smiled.
"Then by the power vested in me, I pronounce Maddie Taylor...Her Grace, The Duchess of Windsor! Congratulations, Your Grace!"
