Maddie and Xander spent the rest of the day brainstorming their royal art foundation. They sat in their cozy studio, surrounded by paintings, sketches, and laughter.
Their vision: a global organization providing art education, resources, and grants to emerging artists – especially those from underprivileged backgrounds.
Xander said, "We'll need a strong board of directors – art experts, philanthropists, and possibly some royal family members to lend credibility."
Maddie nodded. "I like it. Queen Elizabeth seems open to new ideas...maybe she'll join our board or be patron?"
Just then, Henry ran in, excitement radiating from his little body.
"Mommy, Daddy – Grandma Queen sent a messenger! She wants to discuss something with you both. The car is waiting downstairs!"
Maddie and Xander exchanged curious glances. They kissed Henry's forehead.
"We'll go see what Grandma wants, sweetie. Watch Victoria for us?"
At the palace, Queen Elizabeth received them warmly.
"Maddie, Alexander – I've been thinking. Your art foundation idea resonates deeply. I'd like to offer Buckingham Palace's East Wing as your foundation's headquarters – rent-free, forever."
Maddie's eyes widened. Xander grinned.
"Your Majesty, this is incredibly generous! We accept gratefully," Maddie said.
The Queen smiled. "Excellent. Now, let's discuss details – funding, staff, exhibitions...my team will work closely with yours. Oh, and one more thing – I'd like to be your foundation's patron and board chairwoman."
Xander chuckled. "Mother, you're fully embracing this artistic side of our family!"
Queen Elizabeth laughed.
"Indeed, my son. Maddie's inspired me to see the world through art – and love. Now, shall we begin planning your foundation's inaugural exhibition and gala?"
Maddie nodded enthusiastically.
"Yes! Let's make it a night to remember – 'Art for Hearts' gala, benefiting Windsor Hearts and our new foundation. Xander and I will create exclusive pieces for auction."
The Queen clapped her hands.
"Perfect! My team will handle logistics. You two focus on art – and enjoying your upcoming title ceremony, Maddie dear."
