Cheng and Xiú went to sleep after having a small quarrel with each other. It was looking like everyone inside the room were sleeping but suddenly Jún opened his eyes. When Jún opened his eyes his eyes were looking very vengeful like he has something to do. Jún leaned up and had a close look at his parents. He looked at his parents and checked are they asleep or not. Jún then stood up from his bed to check on his parents, walked slowly and steadily without making any sound. He was beside of his mother and checked and Jún realized that his mother is in deep sleep then he checked on his father and luckily Cheng was also sleeping.
Jún realized that it was a perfect moment, he slowly walked towards the door of his room, slided the door slowly and carefully, making no sound, stepped outside the room and closed the door again making no sound. It was too late at night, the night was thick and silence, broken only by the rustle of leaves of the trees. Shadows danced across the walls, cast by the flickering oil lamps that are lined in the corridor, within those shadows walked was Jún with a storm churning behind his eyes. Jún walking in the corridor within the darkness at the same time his eyes were also checking on his surroundings making sure that there no guards or castle worker to see his presence. He was quite, cautious and full of vengeance in his eyes it was looking like he was on some sort of mission or something. Jún was already upset with all the one month birth ceremony of his cousin brother were held but also the fear of losing the throne of the Iron Lotus Dynasty in the future to him as well, maybe he wanted to spend some time alone but suddenly he stopped and looked onto his left side.
On his left side it was door of kitchen. He locked his eyes at the door of the kitchen, he was looking at the door of kitchen like there something behind the door which he requires for his personal mission which he was at and he want that thing for himself. Jún moved slowly towards the door and opened it very carefully without making any sound and entered inside the kitchen. Entering the kitchen he closed the door and started to look for something, however inside it was dark only moonlight outside the window was providing some light inside the kitchen. Jún with the help moonlight started searching for that thing which he wanted. His eyes were rolling here there, he was moving his head around and looked despite so dim inside. His eyes the fall on the kitchen table, he moved towards the kitchen, he knew that the thing he wanted was surely kept on the kitchen table but the problem was he was too short and couldn't search properly. So he decided just to use his hands only, he put his hand on the kitchen table, started flickering his hand around the surface of kitchen table. His hand was getting tumbled with various kitchen equipments which were kept on the surface, whenever he tumble with something he touch and examine, after few moments his hand tumbled with something, Jún was cautious this time and he started to examine that thing. After examining there was a evil grim on his face, it looks like he finally got his hand on the thing which he wanted. After examining the thing he grabbed onto it and pulled but when pulled the thing the wok also came, falling onto ground this caught Jún off guard and the thing which Jún pulled was now lost because he lost his hold on it.
Now Jún's eyes were running here and there looking for the thing which he found before. He was looking here and there like a restless person, suddenly he saw something shining underneath the kitchen table, he walked towards that shining object and picked that up. Finally Jún found the thing which he wanted the most, a long sharp knife, this was the thing Jún wanted. He was looking at the knife like a treasure hunter finds a precious gem. He was looking at the knife and was seeing his reflection on the knife, when he looked at his reflection he started smiling like a evil maniac because this shows that knife was very sharp and perfect for cutting meat. While looking at knife Jún suddenly heard the sound of door and he became cautious, guess there was someone opening the door and want to enter the kitchen. Jún was scared as hell he started look around seamlessly and suddenly his eyes fall on to the opened cupboard, he wasted no time and goes inside the cupboard, hide himself between the kitchen equipments inside the cupboard and closed the cupboard's door. Suddenly a maid entered inside the kitchen to check what sound came from the kitchen, Jún slightly opened the cupboard door to see who it is. The maid looked around and saw the wok fallen on ground, she was little skeptical seeing the wok on the ground, she walked towards the fallen wok, picked up and placed it back to the kitchen table. Jún was having a close look on the maid and was waiting for her to leave the kitchen so that Jún could proceed with his plan, accidentally Jún elbow struck the ladle which was kept and it made a sound which the maid heard. The maid again was skeptical about the sound that came inside from the cupboard. Jún was cursing suddenly he saw the maid bent down infornt of the cupboard and slowly her hand was reaching up to the door of the cupboard to open, Jún's eyes were wide open and he was motionless, it was looking like he is going get caught and his plan will all go down to the drain.
The maid's fingers were on the cupboard door and was about to open while Jún was scared of getting caught, suddenly another came calling to the kitchen. Other maid saw her workmate inside the kitchen.
"What are doing here in the kitchen at this time?"
The maid who entered recently asked.
"I heard a sound inside kitchen. I came here to see and saw the wok fallen on the ground. While I was keeping the wok I again heard something inside this cupboard was about to open the cupboard to look inside."
The maid replied.
"Don't worry it might be a mice, we will see in morning, now let's go, it is already so late at night."
The other maid advised. The maid who was about to open the cupboard agreed to her advice and stood up. The maid with her coworker left the kitchen and closed it's door. Jún luckily escaped from getting caught, he took deep sigh of relief, he was finally safe now. Jún slowly and carefully came out of the cupboard and closed it. Jún holding the knife in his hand, hide it inside his cloak and walked towards the door of the kitchen, opened it slightly and peeked outside to see whether there was someone outside or not. After seeing no one, Jún goes out of the kitchen and closed the door. Jún this time was very cautious and walked even more carefully than before.
Jún walking in the corridor, in darkness slowly and cautiously, constantly moving his head around making sure that nobody sees him. Suddenly he stopped and looked onto to his right side, he finally arrived at his destination. Jún was standing infornt of the door of Emperor Shou's room. Jún was closely having look at the door of Emperor Shou's room, he walked towards the door and carefully opened the door. He peeked inside the room and saw that both Emperor Shou and Queen Hanmei were asleep, he slowly entered inside their room and started looking. After moving his eyes around he saw the cradle on his right side inside the cradle Emperor Shou and Queen Hanmei's newborn son and his cousin Liang was sleeping. There was a rage in the eyes of Jún, he walked towards the cradle and saw his cousin Liang asleep. He was looking at his cousin with full of envy and hatred, Jún have no love for cousin at all.
"Look at you, you tiny little disgusting rat..... Sleeping having worries..... and guess why not because you know very well..... you are going to become the Emperor of this Dynasty in future... but listen you rat... this throne belongs to me.... ME!... not you but me.... and I will not let you take this throne away from me like this...."
Jún whispered. Jún cursed and spitting some venomous words for cousin. Jún then suddenly pulled out the knife from his cloak and held it from it's handle upside down.
"Now you are sleeping but unfortunately..... you will not see the sun next morning... this night will be your last night... and you will be forever in your sleep.... just one time and you are dead... your dream of becoming the Emperor ends here...."
Jún continued cursing Liang and he was about push the knife into Liang, killing him mercilessly. He was about to stab Liang suddenly a hand came from behind grabbed Jún's hand holding the knife and prevent Jún to succeed in his evil. Jún was shocked to see the hand he quickly looked back to see who's hand it was and when saw he was in complete disbelief.
