Cheng walking in the corridor with his drunken brother Emperor Shou left arm on his shoudlers, helping him to walk back to his room behind him Head Hao was following them carrying Emperor Shou's son Liang in his arms. While walking in the corridor drunken Emperor Shou was trying to talk to his brother despite being so drunk and having no control over himself he wasn't talking quite smoothly.
"Brother... you always have been.... so supportive and helpful towards me.... I love you so much brother..." Emperor Shou said but while talking he was sounding slurred and his tone was much louder than usual.
"I know..... I love you too my brother but please do not drink so much mijiu wine from now on my brother it could cause you damage."
Cheng advised his brother however being so drunk Emperor Shou agreed to his advised.
"I am so sorry brother.... I am never suppose to drink this much..., but today I don't know why.....I was so happy for my son getting a new name I drank a lot but now I promise.... that I will not drink this much..... in..... in..... in my future."
Emperor Shou promised Cheng despite having difficulties while speaking but for his brother he did that.
After that they arrived at Emperor Shou's room, Cheng knocked on the door. When he knocked Cheng and Head Hao heard Queen Hanmei blabbering from inside the room
"Tonight I am not going let you in.... you have to sleep outside, but give me my son first!" Cheng and Head Hao were scared by Empress Hanmei's rage.
Empress Hanmei opened the door, blabbering in anger but when she saw Cheng and Head Hao was also standing she suddenly stopped with her blabbering started acting nice.
"Oh..... brother in law Cheng, Head Hao. I am sorry I didn't know that you both were also here....."
Empress Hanmei then looked at her drunk husband who now have no conscious and can't even stand up properly by himself. She instantly realized that both are there to help her husband.
"I am so sorry brother in law Cheng and Head Hao. I am sorry that you both had to help my drunk husband to walk back to his room."
Empress Hanmei quickly apologised because she was embarrassed but Cheng and Head Hao tried comfort her.
"You don't need to be sorry sister in law, he is my brother as well and I have helped him a lot a times before so you don't have to be sorry. By the way can I let him enter the room or..."
Cheng asked. Empress Hanmei was again embarrassed and she started laughing to ease the moment, both Cheng and Head Hao also started laughing.
"Oh brother in law.... I was just joking. It was nothing serious, please.... please come in."
Cheng carrying Emperor Shou entered the room followed by Head Hao. Entering the room Head Hao quickly handed over prince Liang to Queen Hanmei and Cheng carrying his brother walked towards the bed. Cheng grabbed onto his brother and made him lay on his bed.
"Thank you Head Hao for taking care of my son." Queen Hanmei thanked Head Hao. Head Hao bowed as a respect.
"Did the Emperor tried to carry my prince?"
Empress Hanmei asked, both Cheng and Head Hao were numb for a moment. Head Hao looked glazed at Cheng and Cheng nodded his head telling him not tell the truth.
"No.... Queen.... no..... just like you said I didn't allowed Emperor Shou to carry prince Liang."
Head Hao lied and Queen Hanmei believed in him.
"Good job Head Hao. Thank you for standing up to the words you gave."
Empress Hanmei was praising Head Hao but Head Hao was quite ashamed over himself because he lied to Empress Hanmei.
"Okay..... um..... sister in law I have laid brother Shou on his bed. He is in deep sleep now. I think we should leave now, it is too late."
Cheng and Head Hao were leaving the room but before leaving Empress Hanmei wanted to thank them again.
"Brother in law Cheng, Head Hao thank you so much for helping my husband to get back to his room. Seriously I me and my husband are blessed to have you both."
Both Cheng and Head Hao were feeling quite pleased by that.
"Good night sister in law." Cheng said.
"Good night brother in law, Good night Head Hao." Queen Hanmei wished them back.
Both Cheng and Head Hao left their room and Queen Hanmei closed the door of her room.
Outside, in corridor Both Cheng and Head Hao were having a chat.
"Lord Cheng, seriously Queen Hanmei is such a nice lady. Despite being a Queen she thanked us and acknowledged our care for Emperor Shou and her." Head Hao praised Queen Hanmei's humble nature and Cheng agreed to him.
"That's true Head Hao. Truly I have to say that both Emperor Shou and Empress Hanmei are the people who deserve to be at the top of the hierarchy of the Dynasty." Cheng replied.
Head Hao looked up to Cheng and said.
"By the way Lord Cheng you also deserve respect as well."
Cheng quite confused.
"ME!? Why Head Hao?" Cheng asked.
"Because..... Despite you being older and Emperor Shou being younger than you and also being Emperor. You never had any sort bad blood with him. You are always there for Emperor Shou." Head Hao praised Cheng for his behavior towards his brother. Cheng smiled and replied.
"Head Hao..... before Emperor he is my brother first. We spent our whole childhood together and now fortunately in our adulthood as well. Despite Shou being the Emperor of this Dynasty he always gave me respect and love just like before. He never showed me any arrogance of being the Emperor. Our love and our bond is eternal."
Head Hao was feeling amazed hearing how much Cheng loves his brother in fact Cheng's respect was increased even more in Head Hao's eyes.
"Lord Cheng, I have to say you truly love your brother." Head Hao said.
"Thank you Head Hao for acknowledging it. Now let's go back to our room it is already late both of our wives must be waiting."
Cheng thanked and advised to back to their rooms, Head Hao agreed. Both wished good night to each other and went back to their respective rooms.
Cheng was walking in the corridor alone. While he was walking back to his room in the back of his mind he was wishing that his Xiú must be sleeping because he doesn't want to indulge in another quarrel with her. Cheng reached his room and was standing in front of the door of his room. Before entering the room he decided to check whether Xiú was sleeping or not. He gently opened the door little bit and peaked inside to see. Inside he saw that both Xiú and Jún were sleeping, Cheng took a sigh of relief and opened the door gently and slowly creating no sound. He entered room and closed without making any sound, walked on tip of his toes creating little no sound and cheekily laid on his bed next Xiú, suddenly Xiú spoke.
"So.... you cameback after enjoying with your brother?"
Cheng was stunned knowing that Xiú was awake and was pretending to be asleep.
"You are awake?" Cheng asked.
"Yes.... and why are acting so shocked? Didn't you expected me to be awake?" Xiú asked.
Cheng was tired and done. He had no energy to quarrel with Xiú all he wanted was to sleep so he started pleading.
"Xiú..... please! Right now all I want is to sleep peacefully I can't start to have an another quarrel with you please."
Xiú looked back to Cheng and replied.
"Shut up..... do you think that I want to start a quarrel with you. I am that stupid, I have realized that it is worthless to talk something sensible with you and it does not worth wasting energy as well. You sleep and let me sleep as well."
Xiú then closed her eyes and went back to sleep. Cheng scratching his hair in annoyance, laid back closed his eyes and went to sleep asleep. Both went to sleep, after both went to sleep, Jún who suppose to be asleep opened his eyes and those eyes were filled with full of vengeance.
