The system opened another pop up window next to personal profile.It was similar to his personal profile and had the header of "shop". There was a symbol of a coin and in the top right corner with "0" on it.

Peter already knew how to earn coins.There were mainly three ways.Get coins from someone else.The government had established a "slayer bank" that would give out loans to newly awakened slayers with the promise to return afterwards with respective interest.
Second was to earn achievements from the system.This method was only possible to a certain point as,though new achievements were being added,after a certain point the reward ratio was practically nothing.
Third and most popular one by far was to fight.If you had managed to defeat a slayer,10 percent of his entire reserve.For example if you had defeated a slayer with 20,000 gold and he had been defeated by no longer being able to fight.You'd get 2000 Gold.
But if you went ahead and killed the person all together,youd get all of his reserve.This was why contracts were necessary.Additionally,you can remove the ability to win gold in general through contracts,which was generally used for friendly sparring between two people that know each other.
Also,contracts didnt just limit to two slayers.It could be with multiple slayers and with the system itself too.
However,system contracts were rarely made due to making sacrifices.System contracts allowed one to get stronger with a price.It is still uncertain why the system even allows contracts in the first place.Is the system just sadistic?

Peter woke up in the morning and decided that he wasnt going to be able to get any items from the shop for the entrance exam.
The entrance exam for the academy was split into two different part.Theoretical and practical.The theoretical part of the exam was mainly focused on the different types of common attributes and their usage.It constituted for 20 percent of the grade.80 percent of grade was for the practical exams.It constituted of One-on-one battles between two slayers with every round being an elimination round.The passing grade was 70 percent so most of the students focused on the practical exams instead of the theoretical one.
Peter was smart enough to clear any theoretical exam with ease.So it was only the practical exam he was worried about.
The practical exam starts in two days.
