Weeping Angels are, in truth, a rather bizarre species. If they look at each other, they will lock each other in place.
Placing a sufficiently large mirror in front of them achieves a similar effect. Even though the reflection in the mirror becomes a Weeping Angel, they are essentially staring at themselves, locking the reflection and the original in an eternal gaze—a somewhat comical weakness.
However, the key is that they must be able to "observe" each other.
Despite this flaw, these monsters remain incredibly difficult to deal with. Without hesitation, Bernadotte sliced off his braid and headed upstairs.
Seras was currently engaged in an offensive and defensive battle with the enemies from A.I.M. Although Seras possessed immense power, she couldn't fully suppress the Beekeepers on her own.
Unless she drank blood and became a true vampire.
"What kind of monster is this?"
Integra stared solemnly at the Weeping Angel before her, whispering her question.
She only relaxed slightly once the mercenary squad arrived and set up a perimeter.
It is impossible for a normal person to keep their eyes open indefinitely, but with more people, they could take turns.
"Keep your eyes fixed on this monster at all times. Remember to tell your partner before you blink."
Integra headed toward the upper floors. This was no time to be idle; there was still a helicopter on the roof that could be mobilized.
If the situation became any more critical, she would have no choice but to evacuate first.
Integra had considered a decapitation strike, but without powerful guards, she simply didn't have the capital to pull it off.
Alucard was fighting, and Walter was missing.
The only combatant Integra could trust was Seras, so she had no other choice.
Just after Integra left, the image of the Weeping Angel appeared in the eyes of the mercenaries staring intently at it.
As they took turns blinking, the Weeping Angel began to move outward. The moment the Angel walked out from their pupils, that person would be transformed into one of those monsters.
When that happened, this place would spiral completely out of control.
The goal of the Weeping Angels isn't to reproduce, but to seek nourishment.
In their world, their own survival is far more important than reproduction.
As long as they could collect more people to send into the past, these monsters could eat their fill.
That is all.
"Cybermen, what are you talking about?"
The Doctor's expression was extremely grim. The idea of Cybermen calling for help was unimaginable to him.
In the world he knew, Cybermen were always the bringers of destruction. For such a terrifying collective to cry for help was unprecedented.
"Daleks! Doctor, help us!"
The Cyberman head held by Bul-Kathos flickered as it spoke. The name it uttered made the Doctor almost curse out loud.
"What are you saying?! You bastard! The Daleks are extinct!"
The Doctor's tone was filled with disbelief.
The combat power of Daleks was far superior to that of Cybermen. Although Daleks looked like pepper pots with plungers for arms, their destructive capabilities were truly terrifying.
In the Doctor's memory, the Daleks should have been extinct, wiped out along with the Time Lords.
Hearing the name "Dalek" so suddenly made the Doctor lose his composure.
Nivea sensed the Doctor's unease and squeezed his arm slightly.
Her gesture was meant to soothe his emotions, even though she had no idea what the hell a Dalek was.
"Technology is truly fascinating. Can I study the tech of these Cybermen? I think I've found the path for my next step."
Tony Stark shouted loudly, holding the severed Cyberman arm.
Technology far beyond Earth's current level was simply too tempting for him. Even if twelve supermodels appeared in his bed right now, they couldn't stop his desire for research.
"What is a Dalek?"
Constantine asked leisurely while puffing on a cigarette. Right now, he was acting completely like a slacker.
Since even the Sorcerer Supreme was here, he figured there wasn't much for him to worry about.
After all, if the Ancient One couldn't solve a problem, he couldn't solve it either, so worrying was pointless.
"Their purpose is destruction. Endless invasion and the annihilation of all existence other than Daleks."
The Doctor's expression shifted uncertainly. He wasn't sure how many Daleks the Cybermen were talking about.
But even a single Dalek was not something he could take lightly.
After all, those pepper-pot monsters once achieved the feat of four Daleks surrounding and decimating four million Cybermen.
The gap in combat power between Daleks and Cybermen was simply too vast.
"Sounds like something the Demon Lords of Hell would like. I think I can determine what's over there now."
Bul-Kathos narrowed his eyes at the time rift, the aura around his body beginning to swell.
His earlier intuition seemed to be confirmed. There should be a Prime Evil on the other side.
He just couldn't figure out how a Prime Evil had appeared there; it didn't quite make sense.
"Demon Lord of Hell? What is that?"
The Doctor sensed Bul-Kathos's caution. Although he wore a worried expression, he still asked.
Just as the people of this world knew nothing about Cybermen and Daleks, he knew very little about Hell and its inhabitants.
"Can you determine which Demon Lord it is?"
The Ancient One took out her pig-slaughtering knife and wiped it with her hand. She felt that witnessing a Demon Lord wouldn't be a bad idea.
At the very least, she needed to understand exactly how powerful these entities were. Otherwise, encountering one for real later would be even more troublesome.
"Destruction and invasion... I suspect it's either Baal or Azmodan."
Bul-Kathos didn't care if chanting the names of these Demon Lords would alert them.
Ordinary people might fear these entities, but with Bul-Kathos, it was the Demon Lords who should be afraid.
As Bul-Kathos spoke the name, Baal, who was carefully suppressing his aura in Hell, trembled.
The moment the three Ancients charged into Hell, he had sensed the presence of Barbarians.
To avoid being detected by Bul-Kathos, he had been hiding himself very carefully.
He hadn't even continued plundering the energy of the Nightmare Resurgence. But as Bul-Kathos uttered his name, the glowing orb of Nightmare still shuddered.
Madawc and Korlic were laughing heartily as they beat the living daylights out of Mephisto and Sathanas, who were curled up on the ground. The lesser demons watching from afar stood frozen, shivering in fear.
Only Kassheya, who had a moment of leisure, sensed the aura Baal had inadvertently leaked, so he turned his head.
"Demon! Smash!"
"Demon! F**k!"
Madawc and Korlic repeated these two phrases as they stomped relentlessly on the two unfortunate devils on the ground, occasionally pulling out a flask of strong liquor to take a few swigs.
Having not beaten demons in a long time, they were in high spirits. Right now, they looked far more terrifying than the demons themselves.
"I think I felt something. Madawc, let one of the obedient ones go for a moment. I have questions!"
Kassheya roared, interrupting Madawc's venting session.
Madawc looked up at Kassheya, then kicked Sathanas toward him before turning back to continue his assault on Mephisto.
"Demon! Smash!"
"Demon! F**k!"
The two somewhat unhinged Ancients concentrated their firepower on Mephisto, giving Sathanas a temporary reprieve.
Kassheya grabbed Sathanas by the neck and spoke viciously:
"What is that place over there!"
Most of the small branches on Sathanas's head had been snapped off by Madawc's stomping, leaving him looking laughably like he had alopecia areata.
Held by the neck by Kassheya, he managed to force a smile, opening a mouth that didn't have a single tooth left to answer.
"That is the direction of the Nightmare Resurgence. Nightmare is a Hell Lord like us, holding authority over a portion of Hell, so he cannot be killed."
Sathanas spoke with a lisp due to the missing teeth, but he answered Kassheya's question clearly.
"Have you seen any terrifying guys that make you tremble just by looking at them?"
Kassheya's braided beard whipped back and forth as he spoke, smacking Sathanas in the face, causing the once-fearsome Hell Lord to start trembling.
Sathanas carefully turned his head to glance at the two guys beating Mephisto, then looked back at Kassheya with terror in his eyes.
They had been in a standoff with the Ancient One when Kassheya suddenly appeared before them.
With two precise hooks, he had knocked both Sathanas and Mephisto to the ground, followed by a brutally inhumane beating.
"Are you trying to say that I'm more terrifying than a demon?!"
Seeing Sathanas's reaction, Kassheya roared in anger, then delivered a straight right cross that exploded Sathanas's head.
A precise headshot!
Sathanas's headless body convulsed, his neck still gripped in Kassheya's hand.
A mixture of red and blue blood sprayed wildly. Among the crowd of lesser demons standing frozen in the distance, a mass fainting event occurred.
Like heart patients suffering a shock, they keeled over with a thud.
"Demon! F**k!"
"Demon! Smash!"
Madawc and Korlic merely glanced up at Kassheya's action before resuming their beating of Mephisto.
However, the look they gave Kassheya seemed wary, and their bodies shifted, intentionally or unintentionally blocking Kassheya's line of sight to Mephisto.
"Do you think I'd steal your punching bag?! Bastards!"
Kassheya roared, dropping Sathanas's body onto the ground, then began unleashing a storm of punches.
If only a demon could be killed by a headshot, that would be wonderful.
Unfortunately, without using Fury energy, completely killing a Hell Lord was still quite difficult.
"Hard to say!"
"Demon! F**k!"
Madawc responded to Kassheya's question, while Korlic continued chanting his bizarre phrase.
With a final sweeping hook, Kassheya knocked Sathanas's still-twitching body back toward Madawc's feet, then walked toward the place of Nightmare Resurgence that Sathanas had pointed out.
Sathanas's body bounced on the ground like a rubber ball a few times, landing perfectly in front of Madawc.
"Demon! Smash!"
Madawc started again.
Kassheya, however, remained concerned about that aura he had sensed.
