Alucard. The existence who stormed London alone a century ago. Back then, he came for Mina Harker.
Five hundred years ago, Alucard was a man who fought against the Ottoman Empire. Back then, he fought for his territory and his subjects.
Now, Alucard has unleashed the River of Blood, leaving him alone within his castle.
But can Anderson kill Alucard? Can Walter kill Alucard?
Impossible.
The Major never believed such a thing was achievable.
Even if Alucard is left all alone, he remains the most terrifying vampire, the monster who has never truly been killed.
Moreover, the moment Alucard begins to drink blood again, all their efforts will be in vain. Even if every soul in the River of Blood is annihilated, Alucard will still not die.
To Alucard, life and death are nothing but a charade.
So, how can such a being be thoroughly killed by ordinary humans?
Alucard will inevitably drink blood again. Even killing everything in the River of Blood won't finish him, for he will simply devour all the lives in this war and convert them into his own existence.
This is Alucard's greatest weakness: a strength born of immortality, yet a frailty born of relying on other lives to exist.
Therefore, poison is sufficient. There has never been a shortage of tyrants killed by poison throughout history.
The Major had not originally intended to awaken Mina Harker's skeleton, but the situation had deteriorated to the breaking point.
If they wanted Alucard to start drinking blood, they had to make him feel that everything had become meaningless.
To buy time—time until Alucard drank blood again—the Last Battalion chose to awaken the skeleton of Mina Harker!
"Roar!"
The figure of the Werewolf Captain transformed into a gigantic, silvery-white wolf!
Although the giant wolf was missing a forelimb, his power was undeniable.
Waves of bestial aura swept through the room, and his first chosen target was none other than MODOK and his massive head!
To seek death was the long-held wish of the Werewolf Captain, Hans Günsche. Captured by the Last Battalion in that freezing land and kept like a military dog until now, he had long since lost the meaning of survival.
"Hah!"
"Hya!"
Matthew and Rumlow let out war cries in unison, their weapons savagely intercepting the werewolf's path of assault!
The silver wolf opened its maw, its sharp fangs clashing hard against three heavy weapons!
A deafening boom rang out. The werewolf's figure blurred, and he instantly reverted to his human form, appearing behind MODOK.
In his single remaining hand, he held the researcher who was manipulating the remote control.
The Captain's greatcoat had shredded during his transformation, revealing a slender body that didn't look particularly burly at first glance.
His muscles were condensed and refined, making his frame appear almost lean.
However, the twelve distinct abdominal muscles on his elongated torso revealed his wolfish nature.
His waist structure was completely unlike a human's, giving his body an unusually long and lithe appearance.
"Stop him!"
Dugan roared, firing his revolver at the werewolf. The battle had erupted once again.
John Wick fired a continuous stream of bullets at the agile werewolf, but he couldn't even track the creature's movements.
As a top-tier assassin, John Wick's expertise lay in stealth and infiltration—the skills that had built his reputation as the Baba Yaga.
Even though he possessed formidable combat skills, they were simply too feeble when facing the supernatural.
Matthew and Rumlow possessed the strength to fight the werewolf, but that didn't guarantee victory!
Just how strong the Captain was when going all out remained a secret; after all, a man seeking death rarely displays his full potential.
But the power he had shown so far was enough to place him on par with Father Anderson. Perhaps a fully unleashed Günsche could even rival Alucard in his prime.
Werewolves possessed immense immortality as well. For an ordinary person to harm such an existence without silver weapons was impossible.
Vampires and werewolves had always been recorded as mortal enemies.
"Hah!"
Kaecilius launched another body slam at Rip van Winkle, whom he had pinned against the wall. His shoulder and head drove directly into the female vampire's body.
A sound like a string of firecrackers exploding echoed as bones snapped. Kaecilius's head smashed Rip van Winkle's skull to pieces, destroying the wall behind her in the process.
The force of his Furious Charge, upon contact with the earth, returned the energy to the ground, but stripped of her invulnerability, Rip van Winkle could no longer maintain her state.
The regenerative abilities of these artificial vampires were far less exaggerated than those of purebloods; they even struggled to heal basic wounds.
However, this wasn't enough to kill her instantly. She left a long gash on Kaecilius's forehead—a bite mark from her bared fangs!
"The Freischütz is indeed somewhat frail without her musket, though it matters little now."
The Major watched without a change in expression as Steve smashed his shield down toward his head.
Hiss...
A hissing sound accompanied by the grinding of bone drifted over. The skeleton of Mina Harker had finally arrived.
The completely out-of-control member of the undead slammed directly into Steve's shield.
Mina Harker was once Alucard's lover. While she couldn't be called unrivaled, she was more than strong enough to block Steve's charge.
Facing her "old comrade," Mina Harker felt a trace of familiarity, even as a walking skeleton.
But out of hatred for the living, she launched her first attack at Steve!
"Steve!"
Dugan swung open the cylinder of his revolver, rapidly reloading.
Compared to standard firearms, reload time was always the revolver's fatal flaw.
He didn't stay idle during the reload, his feet moving quickly to find the next firing position.
The ruined room had descended into chaos.
Fortunately, neither Steve nor Dugan had any intention of leaving survivors.
They had no plan to bring back the technology possessed by the Last Battalion. They all knew exactly what Nick Fury would do with it.
"Don't you want to know why you haven't received any news from Seras Victoria yet? Did I perhaps forget about that vampire's existence?"
The Major spoke as if he had just remembered a trivial detail, his tone mischievous, while watching Mina Harker's skeleton knock Steve flying with overwhelming force before turning to attack Dugan.
The answer he received was another charge from Kaecilius!
Fighting with his head—literally—Kaecilius had thoroughly crushed the gunless Freischütz and now launched an attack on the Major, the far more detestable target.
Perhaps the Major's steadfast identification as a human gave him a certain charisma, but as the architect of this war, he deserved neither forgiveness nor sympathy!
However, Kaecilius's charge was intercepted by Mina Harker. A tremendous crash erupted between them.
Kaecilius felt like his shoulder had fractured in the impact. Yet, Mina Harker's form also looked wretched.
The area where her chest would be was nothing but stark white bone, and now it was visibly caved in.
But the injury was healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
A monster that had lost all reason was dangerous no matter how you looked at it, especially with her rising resentment toward all life.
"There are other forces moving elsewhere. For this, we must thank Mr. MODOK of A.I.M. for his wholehearted assistance."
Leaving these words behind, the Major turned and walked toward the tunnel from which Mina Harker had emerged. For a moment, no one present had a free hand to stop him.
Bucky was guarding Steve against Mina Harker, while Rumlow and Matthew were locked in a frantic brawl with the Werewolf Captain.
John Wick and Dugan were providing fire support, though it was entirely ineffective.
Only MODOK, with his giant head wearing a sour expression, stood frozen in place.
The Major's words had made his earlier defense sound completely untrustworthy.
Meanwhile, a combat squad from A.I.M. was attacking the Hellsing Organization's last remaining forces in a remote ancient castle!
Seras, a vampire who had not yet drunk blood, relied on various heavy cannons and firearms for long-range combat.
But the "Beekeepers" of A.I.M. were armed with high-tech weaponry, even deploying electromagnetic weapons.
Relying only on the mercenaries and Seras's strength, completely eliminating these enemies was proving to be incredibly difficult.
Especially since some of these Beekeepers had undergone enhancements.
After becoming allies with the Last Battalion, the scientists of A.I.M. had rapidly mastered the essence of vampire and demon modification technologies.
A bitter battle was raging within the castle.
Meanwhile, Warrant Officer Schrödinger, having satisfied his curiosity by staring at the Weeping Angel, finally appeared near Alucard's battlefield.
Now, the monster known as the Weeping Angel began to move!
When observed, they cannot be destroyed. When unobserved, they do not "exist."
This Weeping Angel was moving through the shadows of war, heading toward the group of humans.
She needed to send these people into the distant past and feed on the potential time energy created in that instant of displacement.
Right now, she had her sights on the handsome mercenary with the long braid who had his back to her.
Bernadotte. A man from a long line of mercenaries.
He was also the captain of this mercenary squad.
At this moment, he was urgently organizing the defense line. Behind all the mercenaries stood Integra Hellsing, the head of the family who had endured so many hardships along the way.
The movement pattern of a Weeping Angel is actually quite easy to guess, though no one has ever seen how they move.
Essentially, as long as line of sight is broken, they get closer to their target.
It wasn't until the Weeping Angel was just a short distance behind Bernadotte that she was discovered.
A stone statue of an angel covering its face with its hands, standing eerily in the middle of the corridor.
The person looking at her was Integra.
Integra knew very well that just moments ago, there had been no such angel statue in that spot. So, she immediately drew her handgun and fired at the Weeping Angel.
Shots that would normally leave marks on any sculpture didn't even chip a layer of dust off the Weeping Angel. This type of monster was the embodiment of a rule.
Aside from a vortex created by a time paradox, there was no other way to deal with them.
Integra clearly realized there was a problem!
But then, she blinked!
The brief interruption of the only line of sight locking the Weeping Angel in place allowed the monster to move again.
When Integra opened her eyes, the monster had removed the hands covering its face, revealing a hideous visage.
Its open mouth was filled with fangs, looking somewhat similar to a vampire.
Its arms reached forward like a starving ghost from hell trying to drag someone down with it. It was terrifying.
And now, the Weeping Angel was only two or three steps away from Bernadotte!
"Bernadotte!"
Integra, eyes wide open and staring fixedly at the Weeping Angel, holstered her gun and drew her saber.
Since firearms were ineffective, a melee weapon might work better.
"What is it, Boss?"
Bernadotte pressed his hand to his hat and turned around, only to be startled by the Weeping Angel right in front of him.
"Is this your prank, Boss? I have to say, you scared me."
Bernadotte spoke to Integra with a flippant tone, then tossed his head, flipping his long, thin braid behind him.
He then winked his single eye at Integra.
"Get away from that statue, and send someone upstairs to get Seras!"
Integra continued to stare dead at the Weeping Angel without shifting her gaze.
Although she didn't know that "observation" was the only way to lock the Weeping Angel, she knew very well that if she let this monster out of her sight, danger would inevitably follow.
The overwhelming sense of crisis brought by the Weeping Angel's presence made it hard for her to remain calm.
But then, she blinked again!
By the time Integra locked onto the Weeping Angel once more, the stone statue had grabbed hold of Bernadotte's braid.
If even a fraction of a second more had passed, this trustworthy mercenary captain would have been sent to who knows what time period.
"What is this?!"
Bernadotte finally realized something was wrong. He tried to pull his braid free from the Weeping Angel's hand, but he couldn't move it at all.
An observed Weeping Angel is indestructible, so the only way to gain freedom was to cut his hair.
"Get a squad to stare at this monster!"
Bernadotte immediately issued the command, then scrutinized the Weeping Angel's face with his single eye.
Although he wanted to make a few snide comments about the Angel's appearance, the sense of threat made him temporarily abandon the thought.
"Watch her! Do not blink!"
Integra had deduced some patterns from the Weeping Angel's two movements.
Information of this level was easy for her to analyze.
However, she did not know the rule: "That which holds the image of an Angel becomes itself an Angel."
If one stares at a Weeping Angel for too long, the Angel can manifest through the vessel of the observer. This is also how Weeping Angels increase their numbers.
After all, the image of the Weeping Angel is reflected in the human eye!
