The constant flashing lights were blinding, the media had set up in different angles to get different pictures to publish.
Rachel stepped out of Nicholas black car, her hand tucked under Nicholas's arm because he had insisted they do so and because the swarm of cameras left her no choice. The diamond on her finger caught the lights of the bulbs, and then scattering rays of light back to the crowd, and the crowd of reporters erupted into a frenzy.
"Mr. Grey! Miss Crawford! Is it true you've been secretly engaged for weeks?"
"Rachel, how did you two meet?"
"Nicholas, are the rumours true that this is some sort of disguised as a marriage?"
Questions flew all around them, and Rachel kept her practiced smile on her lips. She had dealt with the whole media chaos before as a reporter and now as an important persona, but being on the other side of the lens always felt different, suffocating.
