Sorry about the delay, I had a tough time and had to work 11 hours just to finish one of my jobs, the client was stingy and tried not paying me my money so I had to deal with it. He didn't give me my full due so I had to find more work to earn enough money for living expenses, ontop of not being well in recent days but all is good now. Halloween day had arrived; over the last few days I had created a replacement for my Reactive Adaptation serum, since it wasn't ready to inject myself with it yet.
Instead I used the basis of the serum to make another one that doesn't fully adapt and evolve but can regenerate me if I'm reduced to nothing but drops of blood.
It is solely based on Regeneration of cells to restore the body back to it's optimal prime state.
Naturally i had to test this once again on a more than 'willing' test subject, and was a great success. Testing various forms of harm such as incineration, brain destruction, impalement, suffocation and many more forms of killing, i was pleased with the results.
Especially since the administered serum also gives greatly enhanced pain resistance thresholds, otherwise if I got hurt or impaled which I will at one point, I would cry out in agony. Can't have that can I now.
So after removing the effects from my test subject and eliminating them, I gave it to myself and bam!
Im basically immortal like the Herrscher of Death. Although my physical capabilities is still only peak Human, until my Adaptive Evolution serum is complete that is.
As for right now i was getting ready for Halloween since Kiana, Mei and Bronya would be coming over shortly after they all got ready.
The only problem is…
"Dammit, I don't have a Halloween costume. I've been so preoccupied with becoming Immortal that I forgot to buy one, and they'll be here in 20 minutes!"
I muttered aloud to myself as I tried thinking of a solution to make a good costume.

A smile crept it's way on my lips.
…
22 minutes later…
"Come on girls, we're late." Mei said as she led the group in a witch costume she wore.
"We're only a few minutes later, what's the big deal?" Kiana, the more carefree of the group had a vampire themed costume which showed off a little more skin than the others.
Meanwhile, Bronya behind stared at Kiana like looking at an irresponsible child. She wore mummified rags and clothing.
"Yes but it still isn't polite." Mei strictly told Kiana, as they waited for the door to open.
The door opens not long after…
What they saw was a corpse, yes a corpse with one eye dangling out of its eye socket, a knife in the other eye, blood dripping down as the head had a piece of its brain exposed, multiple kitchen knives were stabbed throughout the body and even one coming out the top off the head. While a giant gaping whole was where the chest should have been, and if one looked inside one would see the still beating heart inside.
"Kyaaaa!!!" The three girls, yes three including Bronya, all screamed in fright and hugged each other tightly as they soon feinted from shock.
Only Bronya remained conscious due to her muted emotions.
"Umm, did I overdo it?" Dante asked ashamed.
"What's the meaning of this?" Bronya asked as she inspected the two passed out as Dante dragged them inside the room.
"I didn't finish my other project yet, so I modified a new one and boom, I'm Immortal now, unlimited Cellular Regeneration."
Dante went over and grabbed a gun off the table before shooting himself square in the forehead.
After a few moments of shock, Bronya saw the bullet hole seal itself within less than a few seconds.
"Bronya, I also have a gift for you. I know you said your birthday is in August, and it isn't Christmas yet, but I'll like to give you this. My promise is done. With this, it can repair the damage to your body, all of it. You'll regain your ability to walk and your emotions can be repaired from the damage you suffered."
Dante handed her a small vial of a strange liquid.
She looked at it and to Dante repeatedly like a fish before she hesitated, but ultimately decided to drink it on the spot.
She didn't feel anything at first but then a warm sensation spread throughout her body, to her spine, her legs and even her head.
She groaned in pain as the healing process consumed a lot of energy with caused steam to radiate off her body unlike it did for Dante. She too ultimately passed out from the pain of rapid healing.
When she woke up, she felt that she was laid down on a bed, she looked around and saw Mei and Kiana next to her still unconscious.
However, Bronya was a little surprised when she didn't feel her leg prosthesis, she looked down and saw that her legs weren't as big as before, since under the rags of her mummy costume she still had her prosthetic legs on at all times. But now they had been removed.
Beside her is where she found them, they were ontop of the nearby table.
Dante entered the room to check on them, it had been roughly one hour since they feinted.
"It seems your up…and your smiling. That's a first time I've seen you smile."
His words left Bronya confused, she touched her own mouth and noticed she was indeed smiling, but was also crying.
She didn't even know if she can walk yet, but somehow she believed in him, that she can truly walk again.
Bronya was hesitant, but she moved her body to the edge off the bed before she slid off and her feet touched the ground.
She was standing!
She took a slow and hesitant step forward, expecting to fall from having no control of her legs for so long..but…she didn't.
She could walk perfectly, like nothing had changed!
She walked over to a mirror as she stared at herself. She was smiling and crying tears of joy.
And when she finally saw herself she broke down in tears as years of suppressed emotions finally could leak out.
She fell to the floor and wailed as Dante hugged her as he knelt beside her.
"Come on, come on, it's Halloween. We still have to go out and show off your Loli form to the neighbourhood with the others. Hey! Bronya! Put away Project Bunny! I didn't mean it!"
Project Bunny punched Dante and he was sent flying across the room, meanwhile Bronya was smiling and even let out a small laugh.

(A/n i originally wanted to have them go out on Halloween but decided to leave that until later on. It would be better later on. But after this chap and next chap off screen they went and did regular boring Halloween stuff. So nothing exciting. In a few chapters I plan to have Mei awaken and speed up the beginning of the story since I am pretty much done with the start up.)
