Chapter 4 - Chapter 3: So many labels for one academy.

THE NEXT MORNING..

LIGHT SLUMBER PRESTIGE {LSP}...

Destiny's Ferrari pulled up in front of a series of buildings, hundreds of students were spotted trooping into the buildings in groups.

Dark got out of the car and scanned through the stricture..

He was putting on a plain white shirt complemented by a blue jacket, a set of blue trousers and finally a red tie, on the left chest side of his jacket was the school's symbol which was a black star.

It was a standard Japanese uniform.

The uniform he liked, since he hadn't been at an average school in a long while but this wasn't an average academy which he was about to find out.

Destiny popped out of his attention drawing black Ferrari and stood beside Dark, he deeply exhaled.

"It's quite large" Dark murmured.

"Nice isn't it, did I mention that it's a boarding?" he chipped in sliding slowly from Dark.

"Whatt!!!" Dark exclaimed.

"Well it's too late now, you're not going to see me for a long time so I suggest you don't make any trouble and keep a low profile but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't get strong, remember you have a mission and you sure as hell are going to fight a lot" Destiny advised jumping back into his car.

"Wait I can't hide my identity all alone for a whole session, someone's gonna find out!" he barked.

"Oh C'mon you'll be fine, just remember: your name is Dark Silver, you are a grim reaper and you are here to study, remember these three things." Destiny urged confidently as he started up the engine, he licked his tongue, as happy as a toddler.

"But you didn't teach me or at least tell me all necessary things I need to know about being a reaper!!" Dark protested.

"Teach... then what the hell are you in school for?, you'll figure it out. Just get a friend who would be ready to show you all the ropes, give a silly excuse about why you don't know anything.

Your things are already in your dorm; good luck!!" Destiny retorted taking control of the driving wheel.

"Oh and uh..avoid premiums...and girls. Bye" he paused before he drove off.

"Premiums, what are those?!!, hey!!!" Dark continued yelling until Destiny was out of sight.

Dark turned around and faced the school then it struck him;

"I thought Destiny said I'm a week behind, since it's a boarding school... why are the students coming now?" He asked himself.

He stood there thinking of what to do next or at least where to go when he felt a tap on his shoulder causing him to turn quickly.

"There you are, I knew you'd come today. " It was a fellow classmate, his smile did a very poor job at hiding his dominating aura, he was no regular student and unlike dead people, Dark's instincts were still very much sharp.

He had on the same uniform as our protagonist, his hair was yellowish red while his eyes were bright purple, his shirt was partly untucked, his tie nut was low and the first button on his shirt was unbuttoned. The real visual of a regular delinquent.

"Uh, do I know you?.. " Dark asked.

"Nope but you're going to. Hi I'm Shade, I also stay in room 116; I'm your roommate." the rugged student informed.

"Shade... but how did you identify me?" Dark asked still trying to ascertain his standing with him, the circumstances surrounding his current situation hadn't lest his mind.

"I got your picture from the school's data base of incoming students, you're Dark right?" the student announced.

"Must say it's a gloomy apex name but who am I to judge" Shade concluded after resounding his own name in his head.

"Nice to meet you, your uncle told me to guide you throughout this verse, it's really an honor." Shade said.

"You know my uncle? " Dark asked a little surprised.

"Of course, who doesn't? Your uncle is really popular in this world, he is the vice-president of a very popular and powerful reaper organization. The organization actually ranks the top fifth through out the realm." Shade lamented.

"I bet you'll become a premium." he sighed in envy.

"Top fifth?!!! And he wants me to keep a low profile." Dark thought to himself as he put on a shy smile.

"These premiums, who are they?.. " he asked remembering his uncle's warnings.

"Oh yeah, I forgot you grew up in the living world, well premiums are referred to as the four heads of each class. Ranking from the King to the Queen, down to the Jack and then the ace. Then the four kings of the four classes: Diamond, Heart, Clover and Spades are known as the four generals of the whole first years as they represent us at events. I bet you'll at least become a Jack." Shade ensured.

"And how do u become a premium? " Dark inquired already intrigued.

"It varies, the school decides new activities every year." Shade answered then a bell rang.

"What was that for" Dark implied referring to the bell.

"That bell signifies the beginning of the last thirty minutes we have before classes commence." Shade answered dismissively before putting his right arm around Dark's neck.

"Look... it's been a dream of mine to become part of your uncle's organization and I wouldn't want to jeopardize my chances, so I'll help you become a premium but in return you have to promise me a spot in your uncle's organization once I'm out of school." Shade said.

"It's a deal." Dark guaranteed knowing fully well that he couldn't do shit but his growing test for popularity succeeded in blinding his words.

"His posture is uneven, his right arm is weaker" Dark started recording.

"Great, easy peasy." Shade commented in a cocky manner.

"Let's have a look at your power level, then we'll move to your soul weapon." Shade rumbled as he bought out a watch and wore it around Dark's right wrist, if course he played along.

He clicked on it then the hologram of a rotating circle floated over the watch, the rotating circle seized after some seconds and the number '900' was portrayed and Shade froze in shock.

"What's wrong?" Dark asked trying to read Shade's expression.

"I must be really powerful for him to appear speechless. Of course I am, I'm the legendary ace after all." Dark thought to himself felling exhaulted.

"Nine hundred, how can an executive as powerful as Destiny have such a weak nephew? " Shade thought.

"Honestly nine hundred is a little too low, I myself who knows I have no chance of becoming a premium scholar possess a power level of '3650', while those you plan to compete with would rank from '6000' and beyond." Shade confessed and Dark felt insulted.

"But don't worry about a thing, I'll train you well enough for you to achieve your aim." Shade cheered.

"I'm hopeless." Dark thought as he scoffed, trying to escape his self proclaimed roommate.

"We'll get back to that later, can I see your soul weapon?" Shade requested.

"Soul weapon, he knows about my golden babies?" Dark grimaced immediately thinking of his most cherished twin guns.

Shade read his expression and concluded that he had no idea of that either.

"I guess well have to settle for an ace." Shade conceded with a low voice and Dark, even though confused about the whole thing felt somewhat offended by his supposed friend's sudden loss of confidence.

"I'm sure I can attain the title of a high level premium, just wait and see!" Dark cursed a little premature.

"I guess I was just wasting my time after all" Shade added as he turned away from Dark like a supper popular girl who just rejected his proposal.

Dark didn't know why, but he burned with rage that the sound of a much lighter bell escaped his hearing, his brain was rather occupied with the tasks of accommodating all Dark's evil thoughts towards Shade.

Dark finally grew unsatisfied with his imaginary thoughts and therefore took in enough air, ready to throw it all at Shade when Shade put his left palm forcefully against Dark's lips.

"Shhh... They're here." He announced as other students in the same proximity also turned their attention to the mesmerizing sight of three shiny limos.

"Who's here?" Dark asked now calmed by the sight.

"The fucking elites" Shade replied as Dark watched in awe.

The left front door of the first limo swung open and a man putting on a black suit emerged, strolled over to the right left passenger's seat and opened the door following a light bow.

A stunning teen stepped out from the embrace of the luxurious limo, putting on the same uniform as the rest of the students, she was presumed to also be a student. Luckily for her, the uniform brought out her beauty to its utmost potential, her purple hair fell over her back and her fiery eyes melted people's heart.

"Who's she?" Dark asked feeling somewhat attracted.

"That's Starlight, don't let her looks deceive you, she's pure wickedness. Those who have been a victim of her wrath call her the mistress of death while us observers call her the dark empress." Shade answered in a serious tone.

"Exactly, my empress." Dark uttered in a lustfully manner.

"Stay away from her, she's the last person you'll want to be your enemy." Shade warned.

"Oh please, she doesn't look tough, people like that are just presumed so because of their status." Dark reasoned.

"Not that idiot, she happens to be the first daughter of the president of your uncles organization. If you don't play your cards right you might just end your uncles career!" Shade cautioned but Dark just waved it off.

The second limo's front door opened and a man went ahead to open the door then a male teen came to the lime light. His hair was bright yellow and Spiky while his eyes were as purple as Star's hair.

"Tiger, the twin brother of Star, a globally acknowledged tournament dominator with numerous awards. I bet he's going to be the king no matter the class he's in." Shade lamented in great affection.

"So he's quite powerful and over popular, that gives me more chances with his sister since he'll be busy with other girls" Dark thought mischievously.

"You shouldn't go close to them, their social class in on another level." Shade cautioned but Dark already viewed them as stepping stones on his journey to his condemning saviour.
