Chapter 1 - World Background and Power System

[WARNING: Spoilers ahead!]

1. GENERAL SETTING:

The world is one big planet called Scrontum. In planet Scrontum, the world is a giant body of water with 3 main big islands (continents): the Southern Continent, the Northern Continent, and the Eastern Continent. 5 Civilizations call planet Scrontum home: Demon, Elf, Orc, Dwarf, and Humans.

The Southern Continent has the biggest mass of land, and is where 3 of the Civilizations live: Demon, Orc, and Humans. The Eastern Continent is Home to the Elves, and the Northern Continent is Home to the Dwarves.

The Human domain has many cities, but they have a central neutral city, Arcanum Nexus, a free city where all factions gather for tournaments, trade, and politics, and also home to the most prestigious human Academy, Nexus Academy.

2. POWER SYSTEM:

"Special Abilities".

Definition:

At awakening, each individual receives one or more Special Abilities, influenced by genetics, fate, and environment. These are categorized as:

*Combat Types: Weapon Mastery, Elemental Control, Beast Summoning, etc.

*Support Types: Buffs, Healing, Strategic.

*Hybrid Types: Bloodline arts, Shadowcraft, Cursed Skills, etc.

*Mutants/Deviants: Extremely rare abilities that don't fit the system.

"Ranking System".

Individuals are ranked by a combination of Combat Potential, Ability Grade, and Mana Core Development.

Ranks (Lowest to highest):

*F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS (Legendary/Transcendent)

Ability Grades:

*Common, Rare, Epic, Mythic, Unique, God-tier

[Note: Most Awakened start with multiple low rank, multi-synergizing abilities. Our MC? Only one ability.]

"System".

An interface that has always been there from the inception of time alongside mana. It grants Awakened easy access to their powers and the ability to interact with the magical world.
