Henry leaned his hand close to the yellow portal and touched it. As soon as he touched the portal, he felt immense power, which felt like it was pulling him inside.
He feels a little worried and starts, but then he closes his eyes while trusting in Éloïse. He panickedly whispered in his mind.
It's fine… I'll be fine…
He keeps repeating these words in his mind while the portal absorbs him inside. His whole body seemed to be absorbed by the portal, and then the portal absorbed the celestial cage, which was in Henry's left hand.
In a short time, there was no one in the eternal realm other than Waguri [Hyacinth] and Death. Death looks at Waguri, and then after a short time, she turns toward the crimson moon of eternity.
Waguri also turned toward the crimson moon and then stared at it. She finds out that she is standing in front of an actual moon.
The moon was bigger, like an actual moon. She turned back and looked at the ground and found out that it's too far away from the moon, further than it was before.
Death points her hand toward the crimson moon to close the illusory door of the crimson moon to the soul realm.
Death turned toward Waguri after closing the crimson moon and stared in her eyes, "Hyacinth, what were you doing in the Soul Realm…?"
Waguri turns her head down a little while staring at her hands. "Well… the thing is… I want you to free a soul…"
Death flinched a little, and then, with an angry face, she started moving toward the ground. And after a short time, she reached the ground.
Waguri [Hyacinth] also follows her toward the ground. After reaching the ground, she looked at the moon, which now felt smaller, like the moon looks from Earth.
Death raised her hand and put it to Waguri's shoulder while staring at the dark flowers on the ground.
"First, you stopped me from taking that boy's life when he wasn't even born. Then now today you stop me from punishing him for his crime…"
Death stops for a moment while taking back her hand from Waguri's shoulder.
"Now, sister… You want me to free a soul… from the soul realm… even if their death has been a long time ago…"
Waguri smiled and nodded while closing her eyes. She bound her hand behind her and turned her head to her left. "Yep, you got it."
Death flinched a little bit in awkwardness and anger, while mostly not showing any emotion on her face.
"For that, you have to remove me from existence forever… Because I'll not do it."
Waguri can see clear anger on Death's face; she raises her right hand toward Death's black hair and puts her finger on it. She starts brushing it with her fingertips while rubbing her cheeks with her thumbs.
"Ooh, dear younger sister… Why do you always work against the fate of humanity?"
Waguri is still smiling while saying this, and she can clearly see awkwardness on Death's face. Death pushed Waguri's hand roughly and whispered with a serious tone.
"Because I'm the truth of humanity… I'm Death. The universe created me to balance you with this world. There was no reason for your [life's] birth if there was no death."
Death stopped while turning toward the crimson moon on the ground. She raised her head to look at the moon in the black, empty sky.
"We are opposite to each other. You are life… While I'm dead. I'm born to balance the life and death cycle in the universe."
Waguri goes near her and stands beside her while also staring at the sky and moon. "I know this… better than you. But you don't know what is written in fate… I can see the future that you can't."
She closed her hand behind her waist, and her purple hair flowed as she turned toward Death and looked at her.
"You can only see the time of a mortal soul, that is, how much it has to live. But I can see… I can see the whole future. I know what is written in fate."
Death pushes Waguri away from her while summoning a gladius in her hand. And point it to Waguri [Hyacinth/life].
"Fight me… and prove to me it is fate… You are chasing."
Waguri smiled and then held herself to stand properly. And then she closed her fist while whispering.
"First of all, I'm not your sister here. I'm not Hyacinth nor Life. I'm Takeda Waguri. Also known as Waguri the witch. And on top of that. You also appear not to be here, Maiden of Eternity."
She put her left hand to her back and pointed her right hand's finger toward death while continuing.
"You aren't here… This is your clone; I'll fight. We both are in a mortal body, sister… Let's see who wins."
The environment around them feels a little tighter as Death feels the presence of Waguri. Death without any time wasted releases her presence to defy Waguri's presence.
And then Hyacinth moved her finger in the air and whispered, "Rael'ae sil'flor Hyacinth… daryth'eth thal'cor."
As she spoke, a purple light formed around Waguri's body and formed hyacinth petals that were combined, and then as Waguri moved her right hand and its finger, the combined hyacinth petals moved as well.
The petals go toward Death as an attack as Waguri forces them toward her. While Death raised her gladius and whispered. "Raise… Thanatos… It's time to resist reality."
The gladius [thanatos] glowed in crimson and dark colors, and at the edge of the blade, a light formed from it, and then she moved her hand to cut down the petal attacks of Waguri.
The light got higher and formed a dark crimson light in the air as the gladius got down and near the flora of Hyacinth's petals; it got cut down into sides and absorbed by the ground.
Waguri smiled as she saw Death counter her attack, then she pointed her right hand to the ground, and a purple light formed in her hand.
And that purple light turned into a black katana. The katana seems to be simple. It has a black-colored holder and a light purple-colored blade.
As Death saw that sword, her eyes widened a little with interest, and then she whispered while pointing her gladius toward Waguri.
"Shizuka… I remember this sword. It's the sword of Ieyasu. He is the son of this woman you took the body of."
Waguri smiled but didn't reply; she held the katana in her right hand. And ready to attack Death.
Death continues speaking while also ready to attack Waguri. "First time seeing a witch using a sword. It'll be fun."
Waguri walks toward Death and then stops in the middle of the way. Death also stops to watch what she will do.
Waguri raised her sword near her face and closed her eyes, and in a short time, petals of hyacinth appeared and covered all of Waguri.
And after a short time, those petals disappear, revealing that Waguri's clothes have been changed. From a dark purple witch's clothes, Waguri's clothes turned into a purple kimono, which had a beautiful flower design on it.
She opened her eyes and then stabbed her katana into the bloody red ground, then she looked into Death's eyes while putting both her hands on the back of her head to bind her open hair.
Her violet hair was pulled back into a neat bun at the back of her head, a perfect sphere of flowing strands.
And then she grabbed the katana and was ready to fight. She set free her left hand and pointed her katana with her right hand toward Death. Death also smiled and was ready to fight.
It doesn't seem like a normal battle between mortals for revenge or for fun… It's a fight between life and death for the fate of humanity. The one who will win… will be the savior or the end of humanity's fate.
