Chapter 26 - CHAPTER 20 Eternal Contract

The black Rolls Royce Phantom sped through the night, the street lights reflecting dimly through the luxurious glass. In the cabin, Aurora rested her chin on her hand, her bright green eyes reflecting the lights, her small face leaning towards the window, her soft black hair swaying slightly in the wind from the air conditioner.

The F4 sat leisurely, but their voices were even, deep and cold, talking about things that were hard for ordinary people to reach.

Blacke lowered his voice:

"The upcoming academy exam, the family council wants to include several macroeconomics subjects. It's really cumbersome, but I think this is a test to filter out the children of the powerful who are not up to par."

Knox curled his lips:

"That's right. I also heard that in Europe, the energy crisis is paving the way for several families in Northern Europe. The Sunshine family also wants to get in. It's true that the power game never ends."

Zane leaned back in his chair, his voice half-sarcastically:

"Power is never enough. That political marriage thing… is ridiculous. Telling me to marry a young lady just for the benefit of the corporation? No way."

Easton, his voice calm but not hiding his seriousness:

"But you know clearly, every family arranges. This is an unwritten rule… don't marry for love, but marry for benefit."

Aurora heard every word, her heart trembled slightly. Her eyes drooped slightly, perhaps she was tasting the feelings of Rina and Diana… Caught between power, benefit, sweetness and imprisonment.

She tightened her skirt, thinking to herself:

"If I'm not noticed, then fine, but if I am noticed… it's like being trapped in a crystal cage. It's sweet, but it's also a chain. The tycoon world… is both glamorous and dangerous."

Memories flooded back, when she first set foot in the human world, she only coldly observed, following the fairy's instructions "Must learn. Must remember. Must observe human nature."

Aurora remembered the long days of burying her head in books, learning every rule, every greeting, every powerful phrase in meetings. Tired to the point of tears... because in her world, Luneva did not need those fake things. Only here did overlapping social classes exist, human personalities were fragmented into hundreds of different faces...

She looked up at the glass door, the street lights reflected in her young green eyes like waves. A choking sensation in her throat:

"I want to go back to Luneva. I want to see the fairy. But I can't say... that I'm the heiress. I can't reveal it. They will never let me go. Maybe... tonight, I have to hide."

Beside her, F4 continued to chat, their tone cold and arrogant. But Aurora could no longer hear each word clearly. In her mind at this moment, there was only one thought: escaping from the hotel at night to go to Luneva.

Knox slowly spoke, his voice half teasing, half warning:

"Aurora, do you remember?

She did not change her expression, her hand slightly tightening:

"I also did not think you guys would spend so much just to want me to sign this contract."

Zane chuckled softly, his eyes seemed to imprison:

"Because you are ours."

Aurora thought to herself, biting her lips lightly:

"You fool. I am of nature, of Luneva. Why am I not of the same blood or have saved your family's life, but you insist on calling me the child of F4? You wasteful gods... Could it be that in your eyes, I am a womanizer? What do I have that makes them so interested..."

Knox frowned, smiling sarcastically:

"Honey, you're thinking too long."

Aurora raised her hand calmly:

"Give it here."

F4 chuckled. Zane took out a thick piece of parchment and handed it to her.

Aurora looked at the contract, the corner of her lips curled slightly, sarcastically:

"Children's play. Just a few school games."

She signed her name, her handwriting decisive.

F4 looked at each other, eyes filled with satisfaction. Blacke spoke, his voice low but full of command:

"Not just sign. I'll use my blood to make fingerprints. That's what a contract is."

Aurora frowned, her eyes flashing with doubt:

"You're asking for so much... what does blood have to do with it? Damn it... never mind. It's childish play. There's no such thing as a blood contract in Luneva, only a curse."

Zane leaned back, his lips curled slightly:

"You've been thinking for a while, Aurora."

Aurora glanced at them, thinking:

"Remind me to hurry up and do it?"

She said simply:

"How do I get blood? I won't bite myself."

Blacke pulled out a sharp knife from his pocket and brought it in front of her.

Aurora looked at the blade, chuckled softly, puzzled:

"It's really... funny."

She still held it. A thin cut on her thumb, bright red blood flowed out. Aurora pressed her finger down on the contract paper.

At that moment, F4 together imprinted their bloody fingerprints on the side.

"From now on, you will be F4's. Forever. Even in the next life. Four voices combined into one."

Aurora sneered, her voice half-serious, half-defiant:

"Oh, I hope so."

But in her heart, a cold light passed by. Blood contract… I have never researched it. Does it really have any effect?

F4 folded the paper and put it in a locked black box. They exchanged satisfied glances.

Aurora suddenly felt a sharp pain in her chest, her heart felt like it was being squeezed. But she quickly suppressed it, trying to appear calm, so that F4 would not be suspicious.

She looked up. The eyes of the four men were glued to her like a pack of wolves that had just tied up their prey. Aurora immediately turned away, looking out the window, pretending not to notice.

---

But no one in the car noticed that the contract paper had just been put away, Aurora and F4's bloody fingerprints suddenly lit up. A dark red light crept in, wrapping around each line. Like an omen, vague and dangerous, something that none of them had yet realized…

In the luxurious car, yellow light shone through the window, Aurora's shadow was faintly reflected on the transparent glass. She still rested her chin on her hand, her green eyes looking far away into the night outside.

Blacke suddenly spoke, his voice low and filled with curiosity:

"We know you hate political marriage. But your family is probably not small… so has your family arranged a political fiancé for you, little one?"

Aurora did not turn around, only slightly squinting at the passing light. Her voice was calm but determined:

"Never. My family… doesn't have political marriage like your family."

That casual statement made the entire F4 pause a bit. Knox leaned back, squinting at Aurora with interest:

"Oh… no political marriage? What a surprise."

Zane chuckled, his sharp eyes sweeping past her:

"Sounds like a secret… aren't you going to tell us who your family is?"

Aurora curled her lips slightly but remained silent, not answering. The atmosphere in the car suddenly became gloomy, but at the same time, F4's curiosity increased.

Easton broke the silence with a calm voice:

"Let's talk about that later. Hey, the upcoming academy exam, the family council has added Macroeconomics. If you don't know, just ask us, kid."

Aurora looked away from the window, turned around a bit, and replied briefly:

"If you don't know, I'll take the initiative to find out."

The simple but straightforward words made the four boys laugh softly, their eyes shining with interest.

Blacke raised his eyebrows, his voice half-joking, half-serious:

"Okay. Then let's see how good this little girl is."

Knox continued, deliberately challenging:

"So, tell me... what do you think the economic situation in South America will be like in the next few years?"

Aurora didn't need to think much:

"Slow growth, high public debt, and dependence on resource exports. As long as raw material prices fall, there will be a series of domino crises."

Zane laughed:

"Exactly. Not bad, little one."

Easton tilted his head, his voice low:

"What about Africa?"

Aurora replied immediately:

"Rapid urbanization, young population, but political instability is still high. Investment capital without sustainable policies will only turn into foreign debt."

A moment of silence. F4 glanced at each other, their eyes were a little surprised but also full of appreciation.

Blacke nodded slightly, his lips curved:

"Good, and also good. As expected of our people."

Aurora sat up straight, pursed her lips, and grumbled in her mind:

"This economic or political marriage thing... all of it has cost me so much effort, so many tears to learn to keep up with others. Now you guys are asking like you're checking my old lessons..."

She took a breath, saying what she was hiding in her heart:

"I don't like you guys calling me baby, or kid. Even... trying to take care of me like a baby. I don't like it."

The whole car suddenly resounded with soft laughter, low and full of satisfaction.

Knox leaned over, lowering his voice to tease right next to her ear:

"Whether you like it or not, it's up to you. To us... you'll always be a baby."

Zane raised his eyebrows and smiled arrogantly:

"And the baby of this F4."

Aurora immediately blushed, tightening her grip on her skirt. She turned away, shaking with anger but unable to refute.

"It's really... so angry I could die!"

---

The black Rolls Royce stopped in front of the luxurious hotel lobby, the yellow lights reflecting on the marble floor. Aurora stepped out first, her cheongsam skirt fluttering with each step, and F4 followed behind. They walked inside, chatting as if the party just now was just the beginning of a new journey.

Aurora tilted her head slightly, her voice filled with excitement:

"Tomorrow we will go to Baifeng Mountain."

Zane smiled, putting his hands in his pockets:

"That's right, little one. The cable car on the west side of Baitou Mountain will take us close to the top. From there, it's only a fifteen-minute walk."

Blacke glanced at Aurora, the corners of his lips curling up meaningfully:

"But that fifteen-minute journey... isn't as easy as you think. Will the little one have enough strength?"

Aurora narrowed her eyes, immediately replying:

"I'm not as weak as you think. I want to stand on the top and see Heavenly Lake myself."

Easton chuckled softly, his voice slow and teasing:

"It sounds more like a challenge than an affirmation. But… if you're tired, we'll take turns carrying you."

Aurora blushed, trying to keep her composure:

"I don't need any of you to carry me."

Knox raised his eyebrows slightly, his eyes half-praiseful, half-possessive:

"So stubborn. But the more you do, the more I want to see how you'll handle the biting cold on the mountain top."

Aurora chuckled, her eyes sparkling:

"Then prepare to be surprised."

Aurora had just entered the room, her hand reaching for the doorknob to close it when four strong arms simultaneously blocked it. Blacke, Knox, Zane, and Easton, F4 stood outside the door, their faces full of complacency.

Blacke tilted his head, half-smiling:

"Baby, go to bed early."

Aurora was startled, her face red, and she replied in annoyance:

"Who needs you to remind me! I'm an adult. Don't forget that I'm the same age as you!"

Knox crossed his arms and chuckled:

"You're wrong. It's not just a normal form of address, we're actually all one year older than you."

Aurora was momentarily stunned, her eyes wide:

"F4... are you a year late?"

Zane leaned his shoulder against the door frame, smiling meaningfully:

"It's not late. We just like it that way... baby."

Aurora frowned, hands on hips:

"Even if you're one year older than me, don't call me "baby" or "kid"! It sounds cheesy and similar to the motif of a domineering Chinese CEO. I don't like that, understand? Also, don't treat me like a baby anymore."

The four of them glanced at each other, the corners of their lips curling up.

Easton leaned down, his voice deep and possessive:

"But you forgot one thing. The request that you are and will always have to fulfill... is that you belong to F4. Whatever F4 says, you have to obediently listen."

Then all four of them spoke in unison, prolonging their voices, teasing:

"Now go to sleep... BABY."

Aurora blushed, angrily shouting:

"You guys... are too much!"

She jerked her hand, slamming the door shut.

Outside, the F4 burst out laughing, their eyes shining with delight. Blacke smacked his lips, his voice joking:

"This brat, despite being so cruel to us, is surprisingly adorable."

Knox shrugged, Zane sneered, and Easton just smiled with satisfaction. In the hearts of the four, their possessiveness towards Aurora grew deeper.
